The band was deafening!! Conversations were difficult to make above the music. Totally spoilt our evening. We love live music but at a concert not whilst we’re trying to enjoy dinner!!!

I love this place. Along with the Ivy King's Road and The Wolsey, Picadilly, it's my favourite restaurant.

Huge building with nine different restaurants/bars under one roof, packed with people and a live (not very good) band playing as well. Unbelievably noisy, almost deafening, impossible for our group of 5 sitting close together at a smallish table to have a conversation. Service not particularly attentive and quite slow. Food was OK, polished off three bottles of an outstanding 2015 Amarone at a quite reasonable £118. Total bill came to £821 including service, not bad considering the wine we consumed plus a few aperitifs. Wouldn't return though - not the place for solo dining and too noisy for a group.

Amazing location, excellent service but poor and unimaginative choice of vegetarian dishes plus the cost of pasta or risotto was the same as fish dishes

Sunday night at Cecconi's was really enjoyable as a whole, and nice to be in a buzzy space in the otherwise quiet City. My friend and I had been wanting to visit the NED for a while, to see the dining hall with its beautiful decor.
The service was good although could have been a bit more attentive and the live music was really fun and created a great atmosphere. We knew there would be live performers and that it would be louder than if there had been without.
My friend's rib-eye was great. Our sides of courgette fries and roast potatoes were well made too. Drinks were also nice. But the big let down was my beef tartare. I have this dish as a treat from time-to-time at nice restaurants and this time even opted for the +£10 truffle option! The tartare was bland / un-seasoned and the truffle didn't add anything at all so was a waste of money. It may have been a one-off so I wouldn't let that affect my overall opinion - but I was a little disappointed and would definitively choose differently next time!

I would recommend a drink at the bar and to listen to the jazz. However, the drinks are expensive but that's expected at a place like this in the City. What I, and our party, were very disappointed with was (a) no mention of a buffet on your website for a Sunday - we wouldn't have booked had we known; (b) the pasta was cold when it reached our table and the portion size was just ridiculous - two tiny meatballs in each bowl; and (c) the sharing pizza to start with - I'd take it or leave it. Cecconi's has a good name in Mayfair and we were bitterly disappointed with our experience with the quality, presentation and overall offer of the food.

We had breakfast here. We arrived a bit early, there were not many guests. Still it took some persuading to convince the girl from the reception desk to seat us at a table we liked. Se asked a waiter who of course complied with our wish. We were then served by Simona, who was lovely and cheerful. Little mishaps in the kitchen (miraculously losing an egg from my eggs benedict). And then serving the corrected version on a steel plate instead of a normal ceramic one). All in all this place seems to be a bit less flawless, compared to the Burlington Place branch.

So incredibly noisy it’s not possible to enjoy! I love a party and good atmosphere.. but the music was so incredibly loud you can’t actually talk as a table, you can only speak singularly to the person next to you, and even then at a push. Don’t really get it.... it was awful.

Very good quality mains and dessert. Calamari could have been a touch less rubbery but the Mushroom pasta was lovely, the Pistachio Torte was equally as nice. Value is what you'd expect in London, £3.50 a bottle of still water etc but decent for a three course meal for two.

The setting and food was lovely. The music from the centre stage was deafening. It was a special occasion and we were needing to shout at each other to be heard. We hadn’t selected from the menu and asked for an extra 5 minutes, this turned into a 20 minute wait for a waiter to return. Waiting staff pleasant but don’t know how to serve and clear properly, leaning across us all the time.

Way to noisy which made our conversation very difficult to conduct. Our chicken was way too salty and the courgette frites much too greasy.

Fantastic all round. The waiters at Cecconi were very nice, amusing, helpful with suggestions. They entertained our poor attempts of Italian! Sadly couldn't go to vault due to timing and that we weren't guests at the hotel, however experience was not tainted. The bar staff at Cecconi were great. I had a custom Cocktail made which I think she be on the menu and named Prima-Donna!!
Many thanks and see you again soon.

Had an overnight stay at The Ned & we are in cecconis on sat evening . Great atmosphere with a super jazzy swing style band & singers . Lively but we were still able to hold a conversation . Food very tasty & plentiful but not Michelin style which we weren’t expecting . Very comfy seating & would return .
My only gripe is that there is only a small choice of cocktails in the restaurants although available in the bars .

Starting with the good. The waiting staff and management were excellent.

The food was very average, fish over cooked with food generally under seasoned.
However, what spoiled our experience was the music which was of very dubious quality and so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation or communicate with the waiting staff. We were meeting our daughter for a long overdue and much anticipated catch up which proved impossible so we left early to be able to have a conversation.
I talked to the waiting staff and management regarding this issue. They were understanding and sympathetic, offering to pass my comments onto their management.

Great venue... great food ... very popular... but very rushed.... starters and main served within 45 minutes of arrival and then offered desert menu as soon as plates were cleared... had to ask them to slow down. Waiter then had to check to see if we had enough time to have a break before we ordered dessert.
