Delicious food, great location in DUMBO with views of the water.
Amazing food and gorgeous scenery. The restaurant itself if really beautiful. Will definitely be coming back!
Nice outdoor dining vibe on the water.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Will definitely be going back again, sooner rather than later.
We had the best time with the best food and the best service!!! View and table were incredible! Can’t wait to come back!
Very disappointing!!! I have been to Cecconi's a few times and recommended to a friend who had never dined there. After unanswered phone calls and no response to 2 emails sent per their direction on the recorded message, we finally got a reservation on line that was 3 weeks later. Although we had a reservation, they stuck us in a tight corner where we could hardly move during dinner. The food was served within minutes of ordering which meant it was prepared way ahead of time and just heated before being brought to the table which made it taste just OK and not the value for the price.
I was quite embarrassed as I had spoken highly about this restaurant to my friend and she was unimpressed. I understand things have changed during this Covid crisis but if they don't improve, they will lose more business than they can afford to.
Loved the view, the drinks were strong as I would expect them to be if I’m paying $17 for each. Food was delicious worth every penny. Got there an hour early they wouldn’t seat us so we walked around by the water, it was a chilly night. Overall my fiancé and I had a great time
I am a frequent customer and I've noticed lately the wine pours seem a bit skimpy but otherwise the meal was great.
Can’t say enough about this place .. the staff are wonderful.. food is amazing.. and they are being super careful and mindful with these times
1 year anniversary, great service as well as great food!
Everything was exactly how I imagined after viewing pics online. Great view all around, clean, friendly staff, great date night.
A little overpriced, pizza was good, but the salad wasn't and we only got our drinks after the food arrived.
When we arrived we were actually 15 mins late and they still sitter at the time of arrival. The service was amazing. The waiter was easy going and answered all of our questions beautifully. Super nice guy. The food was insanely delicious. Definitely recommend getting the whipped ricotta with honey and crostini, that was so delicious! Also get the grilled octopus, definitely worth it. It was a bit chilly so we ordered espresso n cappuccinos along with a tiramisu. That was probably the best tiramisu I’ve ever had! I actually went to Italy and tasted just like it did there! We got the currara n prosciutto pizza it was delicious as well. The branzino and filet mignon is also amazing.
Great food and service. Loved the pasta and apps, great wine selection, too. Was a bit chilly outside and couldn't feel the heat lamps
Wonderful wine, food and views! Perfect spot for dinner.
Great all around
It was great, but a little chilly outside and the train noise is super loud. service was great so was the food.
Wonderful views and wonderful staff!
I have been to Cecconi’s before the pandemic and it was a very nice experience. This time the view was awesome and the sun finally came out which was great. The food was really excellent and the service our waitress was on top of it and good. Two complaints I have is first where we were seating there was a plant that was missing as a divider from the other table so my guest could hear right next to our table to the right this loud mouth the whole entire brunch. Second, I feel there were too many tables on top of each other and not enough social distancing. Now, especially all restaurants need to pay more attention to these regulations.
I absolutely loved my experience here. The food was delicious, the service was great and the view was amazing, the ambiance was perfect and the cost was well worth it. I’ll be back soon!
Perfect experience , great view, exceptional food and service
Nice waiter, great view
Food was ok not great
Very loud noise of subway
It was beautiful, great for a date. Will go back. The Servers are very dry though. :)
Great food and views. Everything is fresh and delicious.
BAD BAD BAD SERVICE, AVERAGE MINUS FOOD. No one asked us how our dishes were, we didn't eat our dessert and no one cared. Had to ask for the check from 3 different waiters. Tons of bugs because of the plants. Expensive, not worth it. Would suggest staying away from this place
very good food but long time to wait to be seated.
I have a ton of allergies and knowing that this is a nut free kitchen really relieves my worries. The service was TOP tier. I love this place so much.
Great! Loved the food and ambiance
Manager was incredibly rude when we asked for another table that was open.
Favorite place in NY!
Ordered the filet medium rare and it was grey in the center. Wood oven pizza was soggy, Bloody Mary was not worth $17, and my espresso did not come with sugar. You're paying for the views of Manhattan, not quality dining.
They are taking COVID-19 measures. Checking temperature upon entering the restaurant. Service was excellent. The food and drinks were amazing! The view is to die for, especially around the sunset time. Lots of tourist and others walking past the tables but that just adds to the charm of NYC.
This is my second time dining here in 3 weeks. On this visit I decided to bring my mother based on my previous experience which included beautiful views, tasty food, and attentive and outstanding wait staff. Based on the precautions the establishment takes due to COVID I felt very comfortable returning with my elderly mother. My expectations were met again in that the food was very good. My recommendations are the calamari, whipped ricotta crostini, Bronzino, and the lobster with spaghetti. I would definitely recommend to others and will try to visit again prior to the weather changing.
I love this place, and the service is great even in Covid19 time!
The team took fantastic care of us. My girlfriend and I were joining my boss and her boyfriend for a much overdue dinner together and it was absolutely fantastic! Allison and Vittorio and the rest of the team were incredible. I loved the Grapefruit Sbagliato cocktail to start and the Quince Vesper to end the night!
I had high expectations for Cecconi's. I love the location and the menu looked great. I used to frequent the restaurant next door, Sugarcane, and thought that Cecconi's would be comparable.
The service at Cecconi's was mortifying, and the young man standing outside of the restaurant taking names was so rude (for no reason). However, my waiter and everyone else was great.
The food was mediocre and tasteless. I would not come back.
I loved the place for its view. The outdoor dining arrangement is excellent for sightseeing. You can see the Brooklyn Bridge, and the city view is just fantastic to look at. I'm not sure about the food, it's too ordinary, and the salad that I had was not so fresh looking. The pizza was just fine. The steak was nothing special. I think this place is perfect for sightseeing, nothing so romantic because it's crowded with people.
Super table and even better service.
Serving staff is best !
The covid 19 practices are very assuring and comforting.
Pizza can be a bit better baked, no complaints though.
Will be back next week.
