Fabulous fun night! Excellent food and service with a really buzzy atmosphere
Have been to other Cecconi’s so thought we’d try this one on Redchurch St . Menu was familiar , but it was soooo loud ... everyone was shouting to be heard . Service was friendly . I had the tuna tartare starter which was lovely but my husband had the tomato & burrata which was so bland & cold . We all shared a bowl of pasta vongole, which was plentiful , but so so .
I think if I was to return, it would be for brunch or lunch & hopefully quieter
Food was fabulous. Great atmosphere. Great location and great value.
Staff were really friendly. Food was nice but some things didn’t seem to get restocked particularly quickly.
After I've been on Cecconi's Mayfair restaurant and really got disappointed, the Shoreditch branch is just amazing!! Such a good vibes, nice staff and amazing food!!
Would recommend for good ambiance if you and a group want a good nighttime vibe.
However, the food seems to be secondary here. You’ll find much better Italian elsewhere and for average quality, it’s fairly over priced.
Perhaps better for drinks and snacks.
Nice Italian menu in shoreditch soho house
Nice place but average italian food - you can find better and cheaper in the neighborhood.
Amazing food and ambience. I went with a friend from Rome who loves it too! What better seal of approval. Will definitely be going back as want to try all the things on the menu.
Not as good as their Bond Street restaurant in execution of their cuisine
Sunday Feast - Great choices and options for a buffet. The live music is nice but makes the room very noisy to talk easily. We found the food quite salty as well, as much that the risotto and some pasta were not eatable.
Food is amazing but the service is even better. Keep up the great work!
Really nice location, very friendly staff members and really good food both in taste and portion size.
Music too loud, I could barely hear my girlfriend sitting in front of me.
When arriving on a Sunday evening the restaurant was a bit empty but still, we had a very good experience. The food was amazing and was served fast. We ordered the buffalo mozzarella which was heavenly, the vitello tonnato was great too. The olive oil with bread is amazing. We ordered a small pizza and a salad as main courses - the pizza was smaller than expected but good and the salad was big with fresh ingredients but was lacking some seasoning / dressing and some extra ingredients than just salad leaves, tomatoes and cucumber. The service was okay, not perfect (we had to wait a couple of times for the waiter) but the staff is really friendly and polite. I would recommend going here!
3rd time there, I swear it gets better everytime!
All staff are very nice, reception, waiters and chefs. Great customer service, always accommodating, makes you feel welcome.
Only thing that could have been better is that on this last occasion I booked for both my birthday and my friends, which I mentionned on booking but nothing was done or said which surprised me considering the usual attention to costumer requirements.
Also the live music is entertaining but way too loud if sitting close by, making any conversation impossible.
Luckily our table was further away which was perfect.
Fantastic all round!
The quality of the lobster pasta I had was terrible....it’s a shame that this restaurant does not meet the quality of the food of the one in Mayfair.... I get that it should be a different format but this should not compromise the quality and cooking skills of the chef they hire.... this is not an Italian restaurant by far!!!
Amazing food, to noise with the music is very loud.
Good food. Very friendly service
Maybe I'm getting old but the noise (people, not music) was way too loud for me - presumably acoustics. Have been to other Cecconis and enjoyed the food, afraid this was very average, everything needed extra salt and pepper, and we're not big users. We ate parmigiana, tomato burrata tagliolini and mezze lune with ricotta and aubergine, all needed seasoning. The only thing that didn't need was the calamari fritti. Nice service.
Had a fantastic pizza here and really enjoyed the vibe. Would go back for sure.
A lovely restaurant, would highly recommend. The service is great and quick xx
Amazing place and so cool mood we loved it really. We enjoyed a lovely dinner. We appreciate it.
Amazing food and service - the cacio e pepe pasta was particularly delicious. We were at a table in the middle of the restaurant which was quite noisy. But otherwise it was a great night
When we arrived (7pm on a weekday) the restaurant was quite quiet, but it very quickly picked up and by the time we left every table was taken! Despite this, the service was excellent, and we were never waiting long. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary pizza bread and oils, which was a nice surprise. My girlfriend and I shared this and some fried courgette, then we both had pizzas - the Parma Ham was lovely.
Very relaxing, great service & food , friendly staff.
Great experience, food was good but not amazing. Value for money is sensational. Not one for a hot day as it’s not well air conditioned
Food was amazing service very good
Such a hot day it’s pity they couldn’t put air condition on
My friend and I went to Cecconi’s on a Friday night for some catch up drinks and dinner.
We absolutely loved the food which was good value for money and tasty - the rosemary bread that came on the house was delicious!
The cocktails were tasty and inexpensive and the ambiance was buzzing.
We loved it and will definitely be back!
Excellent service and wonderful food. The lamb was delicious! Highly recommend.
Service was extremely slow by comparison to previous visits and the waiter didn't seem to know the menu.
As always, food was outstanding service was impeccable. Happy to have another great night at Cecconi’s
The Sunday Feast is great value for money. The salads and meats section is excellent. The pastas could have been better (there was only lasagnes, no other pastas) and there was no pizza which is usually a good feature of Cecconis! But otherwise, the food was delicious and great value for such variety and only £25pp. Would go again!
Everything was great except for the very small amount of cheese in the margherita pizza!
The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. The restaurant is very noisy though as it’s always busy.
The staff are lovely but are rushed off their feet!
I've already recommended Cecconi's a few times already. Food , ambience and service was amazing! Cant wait to go again for the delicious starters, selection of mains and the profiteroles!!!! It was quite noisy, hard to hear my friends at the other side of the table - there were only 5 of us. I'll definitely visit again.
The food was amazing but the service is so bad... They kept asking us if we wanted to order the coffee or tea, we said we wanted to have tape water. The waiter looked really unhappy and haven’t added water for us. When we just stayed there like 50mins, the waiter said next customer comes in 5 minutes... ??????????? What’s wrong with him?????? Excuse me???? Every thing was good except waiters.
The place is too loud, It's impossible to have a conversation without shouting at each other
During our first 15 minutes sat at the table the waiter asked us 2 times what we wanted to have for mains, telling us: "I'm not rushing you, but I'll need the table in the end" - We know you need the table, no need to ask us several times, we know how much time we have, and saying "I'm not rushing you" has the complete opposite effect.
My wife got sick from the vongole pasta, it has a somewhat intense flavour to seafood, but still ate most of it, which we believe caused her to be sick the whole weekend.
Great food and atmosphere. The parmigiana is incredible. The only issue was the music being so loud it was hard to talk from one side to the other of the table
The service was really
