In addition to the original London restaurant in Mayfair, Cecconi’s has locations in West Hollywood, Miami Beach, Amsterdam, Brooklyn, Berlin, Barcelona, Istanbul and The Ned in the City of London.
Sunday feast served from 12- 5pm every Sunday.
All day menu served from 6pm
I would recommend Cecconnis to my friends but would hope the food Improves - was pretty tasteless and not much. Choice but liked everything else about it. Maybe choose a pizza next Time.
My main wasn't good at all. There was too much sauce, which spoilt it and didn't make it tasty. The music was super loud and we found it hard to have a conversation without shouting. My first time to the restaurant and I was expecting a lot better, sorry.
I would recommend the place for a drink definitely - what I have eaten was not great and overpriced
Service was good from the Host however the waitering staff wasn't the most attentive
Truffle heaven , excellent as always . The Tuna tartare is really lovely too . Trendy crowd , Buzzy atmosphere .
The service was an absolute disaster..we had to wait for the waiter 20 minutes at a time to even approach our area...even after complaints we did not get an apology... starters arrived together with the main courses... didn’t even have the courtesy to buy us a drink after the entire fiasco!
Food was fantastic, service excellent, very knowledgable and accommodating. Loved it, will definitely be back!
Service and food very mixed. Overall disappointing and overpriced
Really nice atmosphere - and friendly staff.
Lovely food. Nice coffee.
Superb as always. Essence of class combined with some razzmatazz. One of my favourite under appreciated restaurants in London
This is a really fun place, great menu and helpful staff, music playing means that it is not quiet, but it adds to the atmosphere
There was a half hour delay for us to be seated due to staff too scared to tell the diners to move on as the next lot of diners are waiting for the table they booked at the slotted time.
They charge £5 per head if u bring your own bday cake which I have never heard of.. if their pastry chef make you a bday cake they charge £5 per head.. so opted for that option and turned out they could do a complimentary dessert on a birthday cake n candle. They also have a policy of no balloons at the table either. Otherwise couldn't fault the food at all...
This is one of my favourite restaurants that I have visited in London. The ambience is romantic (although the lights were perhaps a little too low!), with a low buzz level of noise. The service is overall pretty good. The food was excellent. We had beef carpaccio and truffle arancini, followed by vongole and napoli pizza. The carpaccio was sliced beautifully, and although I do not usually appreciate arancini, these were incredibly moist and flavourful so I really enjoyed them. The vongole sauce was perfection and the pasta al dente. The pizza dough was airy and much like pizza we had had in our favourite spots in Italy.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
My boyfriend is allergic to gluten and his meal was definitely cross contaminated. Resulted in him being extremely ill.
Lovely restaurant, received great service. Food was delicious. It’s a great place to meet for dinner and chat. Lovely relaxed atmosphere
Outstanding buffet - all served in the kitchen. Highly recommended!
We booked a table for 8.30pm. I was meeting a friend, and had been with 2 young children all day. I was dismayed to find that despite the late booking, I was sat next to a 3 year old girl in a push chair, who, being tired at that time, continued to shout scream and throw various table items during the time i was there.
I asked to move and did so with speed. The staff dealt fantastically with my request and everything felt easy, BUT... I felt very disappointed that a smart restaurant such as this would permit children after 8pm. I could see the girl from my new table and felt very sorry for the couple who took my seat. I imagine a date or enjoyable evening ruined.
Everything else great, but even as a parent myself, I hope they review their policy in permitting kids after 8pm.
What a surprise! One of the best places I’ve ever eaten wasn’t expecting it at all. Will be back!
the linguini with vongole was bad presented, enormous amount of pasta with no vongole, too much oil and very weird taste, i couldn’t eat. starter were good.
Both Pasta with truffle dishes were cold and had to be sent back. £118 for two very average pasta dishes and a bottle of Prosecco was very over priced!
Been here once a month for the past year and will continue to keep coming! Great spot
Service was ok. Not great and not bad. Food the same. Some really enjoyed but our pasta was very over cooked which made it gluggy and there were clam shells with no clams to be seen. We left 90% of that dish.
I enjoyed the food and service was really good.
Great food and great service.
The best Boxing Day lunch. Thank you, we had a fantastic time!
As usual a lovely experience with authentic Italian tastes. Thoroughly recommend.
I booked this as a treat for my husband as I’ve eaten here on many occasions
Ignored by waitress had to ask for a drink had to ask to order food (waitress spent so much time with table next to us that it became uncomfortable) let’s hope they gave her a big tip!
Would I recommend this place no and I’m a key holder
Slightly disappointed with this restaurant. Starters we're good, had the beef carpaccio and a burrata. The table ordered 2 pizzas, which were good but the pasta dishes were the disappointment. We ordered the Rigatoni and the Linguine, the rigatoni had very little sauce with it and it was served in what I'd describe as a cereal bowl, very small portion for the price. The linguine which consisted.... well was supposed to consist of clams was very disappointing. Not one shell contained anything, and the clam meat was nowhere to be found within the dish. All in all 2*.
it was Christmas and I booked on a deal that they wouldn't honour
Great food, really good service - loved it and will come back again
Fabulous buffet brunch!
Very poor service
This was my first visit to Cecconi’s Shoreditch restaurant which is more like the pizza bar and grill in Soho than Cecconi’s Mayfair. I went there with a friend and former colleague and we enjoyed our visit. The food is simple and well prepared and better value for money than in Mayfair. The service was a little over attentive- we were asked three times if we were ready to order within 5-10 minutes of sitting down. We were just settling in. To me that speaks to lack of communication between staff. That was the only fault, it was a very busy Friday lunch crowd and pretty noisy but that didn’t bother us, generally makes for a better atmosphere 👍🏻. I would definitely return.
Nice Italian restaurant, wide range menu, good location - very close to Shoreditch High Street, highly recommended
It was generally all very good except:
- we over ordered - it would have been good if the waiting staff explained the menu because we thought we ordered some small snacks but they were large portions.
- we felt like we were being hurried to order our mains and so we did, but then we had ordered too much so we only had a couple mouthfuls
But overall good and would return - but of course order much less.
Beautiful food, perfect ambience, great service, one of my favourite restaurants in London
Overall very happy and will definitely be coming back!
Love the sunday offer
I've been bringing different people and they all love it.
Also the welcoming staff is always helpful and accommodating even at very busy times. This makes it a place where it's nice to come back.
Always impressed by dishes, they offer variations , it's great as it doesn't get too repetitive if you are a regular, and also a lot of vegetarian options. Few tasty vegan dishes were added to the extensive list off dishes too :)
This time the cheesecake and carrot cake were absolutely divine!
It's not cheap but not utterly expensive considering the quality and choice, however as a suggestion it would be great if price included some coffee/tea.
On sunday it can get pretty loud and noisy when restaurant is busy with an additional music band playing, keep this in mind if you prefer a more quiet, serene ambiance, this might not be the right time to go.
This place is really noisy and dark and the food isn’t worth putting yourself through that at all. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you’re a couple or want to speak to the person/people you’re with. The starter was very tasty but oily and both mains were below average. I ordered the cacio e pepe which wasn’t al dente, but actually undercooked. The waitress forgot we’d ordered drinks twice, so we had to wait 15-20 minutes the first time and just asked for the bill the 2nd time as we’d had enough. She may have been having a bad day but it felt like we were a burden being there and wasn’t nice. Really wouldn’t recommend going here.
Fabulous food, so full of flavour.
Great venue, great service can’t wait to go back!
