Fantastic food, fantastic service and an amazing day.
Highlights were a very good Negroni and wonderful ambiance. The pizza is very good and more semola flour based which gives a good colour and crust. The service was polite and overall a lovely evening. Our only point of contention was the wine list which didn’t include a docg Prosecco. We opted for a organic Chianti docg at £33 which was hugely disappointing, over aged and full of fruit flies. A nice cold beer next time. Great local pizzeria.
Delicious food & the staff are the best! Such a great spot
Excellent food, great service. Highly recommended
Great food and brilliant service
Stunning food and immaculate service. I called ahead to explain it was our anniversary and they helped arrange a very special night for us. Good music, great vibes and lovely people.
The food and drinks were lovely. The table service was very good and fast
Great food and fantastic atmosphere well worth a visit.
Food - brilliant
Drink - brilliant
Air Con - too cold
Music choice did not mirror Italian style of dining to allow discussion with family members Very weirs choice of music. Pasta was large and really chewy and you simply have to get the pasta right in an Italian restaurant. Pizza was really nice and staff were very attentive and efficient. The pasta dishes were all found to be disappointing to all the family and the music was way too loud and just not right for the occasion. Cannot fault the staff at all but the food failed!
Real shame as would return to eat as small walk from home but it will not unfortunately be a return visit for now
Amazing funky contemporary Italian restaurant in best location in Surbiton!
From moment we arrived service was outstanding, friendly and lovely.
Great music, decor and of course the food!! Sublime!
Will definitely be back, thanks Cento for great eve x
Had a 3 course meal outside on a Friday night. Lovely food, attentive staff and great atmosphere!
Excellent pizza. Really interesting beer range and very tasty. Will be going back!
Great authentic Italian food. Lovely service too!
Very good pizza, probably the best in Surbiton. Friendly staff with excellent service, good cocktail list and quick serving times.
I have dined here twice and both times had negative issues with the food.
Pasta —too thick for spaghetti.
Pizza —was given incorrect information about base, my choice was slightly unpleasant. I like artichokes and felt cheated because they were hidden in a purée form with the cheese - tasteless. On the expensive side for a local pizza place in Surbiton.
I will try a third time and hopefully choose the right dish.
Excellent food. Ambience. Staff. Atmosphere. Service. All round it was the best.
Excellent authentic Italian food food, and great service! Would definitely recommend
We were very disappointed with the antipasto sharing board; £17 for a poor selection, limp rocket and stale bread. Also disappointed with the spag carbonara, really stodgy: my daughter sent hers back untouched (aged11) and she wasn't even offered an ice cream on the house. Utterly overpriced
The food is excellent but unfortunately on the day we had trouble with the service - the manager came over to recheck our order, I think our waitress forgot the order or something didn’t go through as she was new, and there was also an issue with the oven apparently, as they didn’t have enough space and everyone wanted pizzas! A shame as we usually have a great experience here
The food at Cento Uno was delicious.
The service was pleasant, friendly and punctual but not rushed.
Thank you Cento Uno for a lovely lunch.
Really lovely Italian. Definitely more authentic than your standard local Italian. Squid spaghetti was especially good.
Great food. Tasted really authentic and nice ambience too. Will return!
The service and the restaurant are very nice and cosy, the food is very good quality, the starters all look and taste good, however, I gave it 4 stars because the pizza, especially the mozzarella, is not 5 stars-even if it is good.
The ambience is very welcoming and charming. Authentic taste, simply delicious. Staff very friendly ( big thanks especially to David ) This will be our new go to from now on whenever we fancy a good Italian meal.
Amazing food, lovely staff and overall a great atmosphere.
Had a lovely evening. The staff are very attentive. Food delicious.
Nice local Italian with a short but imaginative menu. Several unusual choices across all courses, and an excellent craft beer selection. Good value for the area.
Fantastic place ! Simple menu which means food is delicious! Well worth a visit! Full of the beautiful people of Surbiton.
Amazing italina experience... quite freshy ingredients and tasty pasta.
My partner and I were looking forward to trying out this restaurant, as it is only the second time we've eaten out since the easing of the lockdown restrictions.
Initial impressions were positive, staff were friendly, menu looked good, not too busy.
We ordered and did not have to wait long until our meals were delivered.
Sadly, the meal my partner ordered had been taken down incorrectly by the waitress, and she was given a starter rather than the meal she had expected. My pizza was lovely, but we literally had to leave afterwards and go straight to get some additional food so she could have dinner.
I even pointed this out to the waitress when we received the bill but she didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I just paid the bill rather than causing a fuss.
Overall, a disappointing experience that did originally have potential.
The Diavalo pizza here is epic, the salami is so tasty with a little kick. The Sangiovese wine was delicious and great value. Tiramisu was gorgeous and very generous portion. Service very friendly. Will certainly be going back!
We had eaten here before but not for some time so decided to have lunch. The food was very good and the staff very attentive but not on top of you. Will definitely revisit.
We had the arrancini and burrata starters, the carbonara and cento uno pizza and the lemon cheesecake. The food was authentic and tasty.
Can’t say enough about the service! Will definitely be back.
We had a great time. A lovely lively atmosphere and the pizza was amazing! We will be going back again soon.
Cento Uno is exactly how a neighbourhood restaurant should be. Fab staff, lovely food, buzzy atmosphere.
Lovely food, great service. Very enjoyable evening.
Wonderful pizza! Friendly staff. Nice wine. Enjoyable date night.
Lovely evening. Great food... Nice to see place filling up again
