Delicious french tapas and knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Always great food at great prices and impeccable service! My favourite dining establishment in Notting Hill!
We went to Cépages to have dinner between foodie friends, and enjoyed sharing the small dishes, which is a format I like. Special mention for the langoustines, and for la Tomate. Also enjoyed the cheese very much, with a lovely bottle of Macvin du Jura recommended by our waitress, great pairing with the Comté.
Excellent food and service. Too noisy as some discussions were just impossible sometimes.
Superb cheese and charcuterie plate! Excelent wine list!
Price to size of food plates is expensive. Mostly small dishes to share but priced as a main dish
Just to say that extra fans need to be organised for continued hot weather in London, one fan is not sufficient. It was simply unpleasant in the restaurant which impacted out dining experience.
Lovely little place. Very romantic and fantastic wine selection. Food was delicious, only down side was they did not have glutenfree bread or much in dessert section. Considering that gluten free is become huge part of dining industry, I would expect that people like us who have no options due to being coeliac are able to enjoy as others do. It would have been outstanding if they had glutenfree bread. A lot of suppliers do great gf products now. Something to improve on. Otherwise, lovely place. I will be going back for sure.
Cepages is one of our favourite restaurants. The food is fantastic, the staff are lovely and very welcoming. We’ve recommended it to many friends and this visit was just as good as our previous experience.
Staff was really friendly, great wines and cheese plater. Definetely recommended
We just love Cepages!
It's become a family restaurant whenever we have a chance, consistently good food, wine and service! Thank you!
We have been a number of times and are never disappointed. Cepages is a local gem.
My favourite place in London. The best wine bar in the city with incredible food!
Waiters wonderful, kind and helpful. Food very nice. Very happy I went
Lovely place and food! Small plates to mix and share.
Great brunch set menu, lovely ambience, although sadly a bit quiet
Really friendly helpful staff
Small to share portions
Great with a glass of wine
Always a good spot! The food is top notch and the wine list is great.
Very nice place with a very interesting selection of wines
The service was excellent with a very reactive and agreeable staff.
The food comes into Tapas form but only French dishes which is a great idea as you can experience Coq Au Vin or Snails for example.
I cannot recommend any dish as they were all succulent.
Will go back soon!
Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service.
Excellent! Que ce soit pour l accueil, le cadre, la sélection des vins et surtout la cuisine du Chef inventive et délicieuse ce restaurant est une petite perle!!!
Charm and patina has left this neighbourhood favorite along with the old manager. The place feels a tiny bit more sterile and the music wrong wrong wrong. We were devoted clients and are deeply saddened. The old manager's jovial welcome and the athmosphere he created will be missed.
Lovely sunny meal at a lovely sunny cafe
Decent local french restaurant with a nice selection of wines. I would say for relaxed convivial dining ti is great, but would not be right for a romantic date, fine dining or business.
I booked Cepages for four of us expecting a nice little bistro, but got a truly fabulous meal. Beginning with the wine list, champagnes from small vineyards, wines from unexpected regions of France - all clearly carefully chosen (the list is not massive, but it has plenty of choice), and the prices quite reasonable. Started with ham, sausage and roasted camembert (which was wonderful, but could be strongly flavoured for some), then coq au vin (outstanding), the lamb, stunning Brussels sprouts in a wine and honey reduction, and the outstanding Pommes Dauphines - so good we ordered a second bowl. Shared the Opera and crumble for dessert, with a bottle of Côteaux du Layon. A wonderful discovery to which I shall certainly return.
This place is small (reserve!) but really charming and the food is exceptional. You really feel like you’re in a French bistro in the middle of London. If we lived here, we’d come often! The staff could have been nicer and more engaged, but...you know...it IS French. 😉
Really friendly and attentive staff. Lovely ambience and great food. I felt very good value for money. Quite a few dishes to come back and try next time!
Great place to eat, very delicious comforting food! Cheese platters and baked Camembert is a must!
Really disappointed service, I normally love this place but Eric and the usual team were not in. We were not greeted, there was confusion about my booking and food was taken long to arrive. When we asked for our second course we were given the bill by mistake!
Great local restaurant! Perfect during the week as it gets packed on the weekend. Excellent wines and the food is delicious - you want to keep ordering more of the small plates. It can be too loud for oldies so don't bring your 75+ mother here for a special meal. Wonderful to have such great food on our doorstep.
The restaurant and the food were nice, however, the service was not good, we had to ask for bread three times and two times for butter, they also didn't offer a smile at all.
This is a very special place. Small and cosy with an amazing service and delicious food
The most delicious food, French chef offered tthe best food selections also wiyh yhd besy wine choice ever.
We both spent more than three hours drinking, eating and chatting was one of the best evening ever
Will 100% recommend and will ho again
Perfect in every way. The food is exceptional and the service excellent. I love this restaurant.
Size of the table small. Everything else was excellent.
Lovely off the beaten track, casual dining, but great food. Very small, booking essential especially Friday night.
I chose the Restaurant for a Pre-Valentines 10 years with my Partner Nick.💞 Everything was Superb 🤗 Thank you to Nicholas (who should be Manager) The Lovely Waitress (blonde shoulder length hair, with glasses) was also Extremely Attentive.
Food was Classy, Wine just Sublime... Very Happy Customer, Thank you once again 🙌🏿💞
Excellent dinner this Saturday - food was superb and the level of service impeccable. Cepages is a lovely local and I would highly recommend if you're in the area
I came here for a date night. Instantly I was impressed with the atmosphere and ambience. It was a lovely romantic setting. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavour, as was the wine. The staff had very good knowledge of their wine menu and were able to make recommendations based on taste. One of them could even identify our wine just by smelling it. Would highly recommend to anybody and will be going back. Quite expensive but absolutely worth it for a special occasion.
