My new favourite in Notting hill area. The food was so dedicatedly made, and was so yummy. Very cosy place in a quiet residential area.
been here twice and i love experimenting through the menu!
Lovely little restaurant off the beaten track in notting hill. Highly recommended.
Fantastic French gem hidden in the backstreets of Notting Hill. I felt like I was in Bordeaux. I will definitely go again.
Despite speaking to the restaurant in the day to confirm the reservation, they cancelled the reservation and we were less than 15 minutes late. Come on, even Pizza Express wouldn’t cancel a table in 15 minutes! Other than that, good.
A second visit to Cepages, just as fabulous as the first. The food is outstanding, matched by what must be one of the better curated wine lists in the city. The Dauphine potatoes are a must - several times over, apparently! It does get noisy as the space is small, with hard surfaces all over. Leave room for dessert - worth it.
Our first visit. The food was very tasty and the wine very good. Would definitely go again.
Definitely the best ambiance in Notting Hill! Love it.
Awesome- really enjoyed it. Great wine list & terrific French tapas - will be returning soon
we go regularly. love this place. food never disappoints.
Delightful in every way. They were able to accommodate our group of three at the very last moment on a Friday night. And then they moved us to a bigger table as soon as it freed up. The menu is fine: French tapas. Each dish is a delight and good for sharing. Decent wine list and very kind attentive service.
Always excellent little French gem in Notting Hill.
My wife and I are from Philadelphia and were in London for Philadelphia Eagles. We were getting a little tired of British pub food. We picked this restaurant on a whim and were very happy with it. I saw some comments that the the "tapas" was a little pricey. We found the portions to be good for two people and the cost of dinner was reasonable as we had a bottle of wine and sparkling water.
Wonderful neighborhood and great food and wine. Understated yet sophisticated.....
We really enjoyed our evening, and we will be back :)
Always love Cepages. Delicious dinner and great wine selection.
Never disappointed with this eatery. Food was incredible as always.
Excellent French food, wine and service! Would strongly recommend
The food was very tasty, but quite pricey, as it's recommended to have three 'small plates to share' per person. They could at least offer some bread in a corbeille (as you would get in a French restaurant). The waiters were not particularly helpful and friendly.
This is a great neighborhood haunt with an extensive wine list and a diverse French menu. We brought our newborn here and enjoyed a quiet afternoon lunch and will certainly be coming back!
Cepage is definitely a neighborhood gem! Lovely lighting, service, space and excellent food. It is one of our favorites....
A rare find - welcoming, cosy with great food and fantastic wine! We will be back very soon!
Love this place, the food is simply delicious and of the highest quality. The wines are outstanding, looking forward to trying more of them! The waitress let us sample the wine before we ordered the bottle, which was very civilised. Had a super evening catching up with a good friend. We had the table for nearly 3 hours and the staff were never pushy, only attentive when we needed them, otherwise let us enjoy our evening. It was my second time there and it certainly won't be the last! Highly recommend it!
Very good kitchen and service!
The place is very cute too, although a bit noisy in the evening.
I do recommend!!!!!!
Delicious french tapas and knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Always great food at great prices and impeccable service! My favourite dining establishment in Notting Hill!
We went to Cépages to have dinner between foodie friends, and enjoyed sharing the small dishes, which is a format I like. Special mention for the langoustines, and for la Tomate. Also enjoyed the cheese very much, with a lovely bottle of Macvin du Jura recommended by our waitress, great pairing with the Comté.
Excellent food and service. Too noisy as some discussions were just impossible sometimes.
Superb cheese and charcuterie plate! Excelent wine list!
Price to size of food plates is expensive. Mostly small dishes to share but priced as a main dish
Great French bistro style food, classic dishes with great ingredients. French friendly staff
Just to say that extra fans need to be organised for continued hot weather in London, one fan is not sufficient. It was simply unpleasant in the restaurant which impacted out dining experience.
Lovely little place. Very romantic and fantastic wine selection. Food was delicious, only down side was they did not have glutenfree bread or much in dessert section. Considering that gluten free is become huge part of dining industry, I would expect that people like us who have no options due to being coeliac are able to enjoy as others do. It would have been outstanding if they had glutenfree bread. A lot of suppliers do great gf products now. Something to improve on. Otherwise, lovely place. I will be going back for sure.
Cepages is one of our favourite restaurants. The food is fantastic, the staff are lovely and very welcoming. We’ve recommended it to many friends and this visit was just as good as our previous experience.
Staff was really friendly, great wines and cheese plater. Definetely recommended
We just love Cepages!
It's become a family restaurant whenever we have a chance, consistently good food, wine and service! Thank you!
We have been a number of times and are never disappointed. Cepages is a local gem.
My favourite place in London. The best wine bar in the city with incredible food!
Waiters wonderful, kind and helpful. Food very nice. Very happy I went
