CERU South Kensington Ratings and Reviews
This is my second visit to Ceru and it won’t be the last! Friendly informative service. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free, but certainly not boring. There is a wide range of food, and there is nothing lacking. Vegetarians are well catered for, although there are some meat and fish dishes too.
I am a fussy wine drinker, but the Turkish wine is really good. Every wine is available by the glass, which makes a refreshing change.
Full marks too for gluten free cheesecake. Many restaurants could learn from this one, and it is nice to have found a good restaurant a short distance from the Royal Albert Hall and the V & A which provides a great menu.
The prices are reasonable too.
There is a good variety of seating too. Tall bar chairs, regular tables and booths available. It is comfortable and relaxed and the food is of good quality and flavoursome.
I will return.
Well-prepared and nicely presented Levantine cuisine with lots of imagination added - a real delight. If you like small tastes of lovely things, mostly vegetarian, but with a few excellently- done standards - our whitebait was delicious! - then this place is for you.
An absolute gem in amongst the overpriced haunts and boring chains in and around South Kensington. Fresh, vibrant Middle Eastern dishes with a twist. The slow cooked lamb and apple/mint salad were outstanding. If you’re visiting museums nearby book this place for a lovely lunch or dinner!
Chosen after reading revious reviews, this place didn't let down. Lively and friendly atmosphere, everything you'd want on the menu and amazing service. Food is a little pricy but for right in the middle of South Kensington it is exactly as expected. A brilliant place to visit if you're pressed for time too, was in and out in just over an hour. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful time at CERU recently. The food was authentic, so tasty and good value for money. The service was quick, attentive and not overbearing. The waiters were polite and efficient and the kitchen team looked comfortable, calm and relaxed. We absolutely loved the décor and will definitely be returning for another of some of the best Levantine cuisine I think we have ever eaten!
We had a lovely meal at Ceru. The food is healthy , colourful and delicious. We had 3 in one dips with bread and they were all tasty. The lamb shoulder melts in your mouth and the squid was well cooked. No crispy. We also had some beans. I would go back again.
One free day of London conference to enjoy museums and shopping ..... this was perfect for lunch after Victoria and Albert visit. The modern updating of the foods of Turkish/ middle eastern influences were all freshly prepared and excellent..... small dishes to experience many 'tastes'
