Each plate was beautifully presented. Friendly service. Very good approach to managing allergies - with menus showing which dishes are suitable according to type of allergy, eg fish or shellfish.
Food was outstanding and for London, fairly well priced. Staff were lovely and we were more than happy to leave a tip at the end. Would most definitely recommend this to friends and family and if on the area again would visit over and over.
This was our first visit as it was our anniversary. When we arrived we were seated very quickly and the staff were very courteous and efficient. Once ordered the food arrived hot and delicious, the staff were ever vigilant without being overbearing and as soon as we had finished, the plates were removed and our Mains were delivered. The ambiance of the restaurant was great - there were quite a few people for a Saturday night, but not so that it got rowdy. I would definitely recommend the Massaman Chicken - it was cooked to perfection and the sauce was lovely and thick, the variety of wines also suited all pockets. I would definitely recommend Champor Champor, but ensure you book ahead as it can get quite busy.
Once again, amazing service, amazing food and amazing setting!! Highly recommend!
This was a thank you dinner and honestly it was the best experience ever! Best tasting Thai food I've EVER had. Didn't really like Thai food before lol
Tucked away and not one you’d find unless you went looking for it, but food was excellent! Absolutely everything was delicious from the complimentary starter to the 3 starters we ordered to share and 3 mains. The halloumi side, prawn starter and beef rendang were our favourites!
And very good value for money too! I’d definitely go back!
This is literally one of the best places I've been. Design is great, food is 10/10, price is very reasonable and staff are very kind. Great evening.
The food is amazing and value for money. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Will definately visit again.
It’s always great for a restaurant to make an impression on friends who have not been before. Although I had visited many times, we were sat downstairs in a room which I didn’t know existed! This cosy room had two tables and was decorated like a garden area with a swing. It took a while for the food menu to arrive but as usual, the food in both presentation and taste impressed. My learned friends commented on the quality of the wine list and were happy with the range which went well with the food. Service was prompt but was non existent at the end. We had to go upstairs to ask for the bill which we also duly paid upstairs as there was no reception downstairs. Not a big deal and it was in the way out. Overall, this is my usual place to introduce friends to a little hidden corner of London with consistent quality of food.
Delicious and unusual food, lovely interior. A hidden gem that is very handy for London Bridge . Looking forward to returning.
Booked for a romantic meal with my partner, a little slow to bring the menus and offer drinks but otherwise hard to fault. Portions were generous and food absolutely delicious. Definitely recommended.
Fantastic food very tasty and very friendly service. 😋
I have been to champor champor a few times and have always enjoyed the food. However I am vegan these days and order the vegetarian dishes which were not great. The fried okra was terrible and the banana curry was just ok. My friend ordered a chicken dish which was delicious according to her.
Excellent service, very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, especially the lamb shank massuman curry. The prawn dishes coming out the kitchen looked great so will try that out next time. Complimentary toasted banana bread was a nice touch. Will definitely return.
Very nice place but the allergy menus needed updating and the dish of baby squid that I had was tough and rubbery, so much so that I could not even chew it. The meat dishes were fantastic and cooked very well.
However, when I complained about the squid I didn’t even get an apology or asked if I wanted another dish...I got a “well I don’t know how to cook squid so I couldn’t tell you how it was meant to be!” That is an unacceptable response from a waiter.
Other than that it was lovely.
Me and 2 friends had a nice evening at Champor Champor - but the place did not blow me away. Starter was really lovely (soft shell crab) but the fish I had for my main course was very dry. The service was also lacking. Waited a long time before we were able to order and no one checked up on whether the food was ok. Might give it another try but my expectations were not really met the first time.
Lovely fresh Malaysian/Thai food with unusual pairings, in a very attractive cosy restaurant close to London Bridge station. Charming service and decent wine selection. A favourite of ours for a number of years.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. A shame that we had to ask four times for a drink
I opted for the Baby squid followed by the Red Snapper.
They both seemed to have been cooked from frozen rather than being fresh. I was quite disappointed.
Food was amazing. We were rushed to place our order.
The food is delicious the service very attentive the atmosphere is calm and the decor is exquisite
I will be back soon
This is mine and my partners go to favourite place. Always a joy, excellent food and excellent service as usual.
First time to this Thai restaurant after reading reviews. It’s smallish and has a very quirky interior. We ordered starters and mains, we were to full for dessert. The portions are rather large, including starters and sides. I ordered the pad Thai side, it looked like the size of a main. Apart from the pad Thai side everything was delicious, spicy and I felt very authentic compared to other Thai restaurants. Would definitely return and recommend to others, but need to book.
Extremely tasty food and our server was really nice. The tables are very tight together which probably explains why no waiter/waitress came to our table (no. 3) after the main course was brought to us. Nobody asked if we wished any more drinks or even desert which is quite odd for a restaurant because that's what makes them money.
The restaurant has a strict 2h sitting policy, I was called before arrival and advised that we had to leave by 9pm for my 7pm reservation. I didn't mind that, 2h is plenty of time.
Overall it was a very nice evening with lovely food, we will be back.
Ordered a side as a starter and it came after we had our mains.
I ordered beef rendang and I wasn’t happy with it, tasted very salty!
Was expecting a lot better judging from other reviews if I’m honest.
Overall a very good service with excellent food. The ambiance was very chilled and welcoming, decor surberp. Food was tender and very tasty. Thoroughly recommend to all...it was big bosses birthday and she enjoyed it!! Well done Champor Champor...
Friendly and prompt service with instagram worthy presentation of food. Food is delicate and freshly prepared. This place has become my go to restaurant at London Bridge.
It was a group lunch and we sent the food choices before arriving. The food came shortly after we arrived and it was delicious! The place is really charming too. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent and authentic food. Limited space in the restaurant, but we got a private dining area which was amazing!!
We booked this restaurant after checking reviews on OpenTable. It exceeded our expectations, the menu was varied with a few things we haven't seen before, and the food was to die for when it arrived. We will definitely be back.
foood was delicious....just a little highly priced
Service was slower than expected. Food was as expected.
Food was amazing ! Exactly 2 hours we had to leave even though we had just received our tea that was pipping hot.
The restaurant was small and had no where to hand coats and bags, but food was second to none!
The food was delicious and the service incredible as the waiters were friendly and the food arrived very fast. I definitely would go again!
Fabulous meal - a real hidden gem. Will definitely be back
Great authentic food in a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.
This place was a great find. Would have to say its one of the best Thai restaurants i have been to in London. Great value for the quality of food and a great setting also. Highly recommend this place.
Very tasty food.
Delicious food and lovely service - would definitely recommend!
This was a family reunion. Food choices for vegetarians was really good, flavour was good. We had booked for 10 people and unfortunately were seating by the door and so there was a lot of through traffic near us. Food is a little overpriced for what it was. I would go again but with a much smaller group only.
