Food good, service less so. Toilet facilities are inadequate.
Amazing food. Had a great young guy serve us who was very friendly and warm.
Great food with friendly staff. Great place for a nice dinner.
Absolutely delicious food, especially the soft shell crab and prawn yellow curry. The only problem was that we only had 2 hours at the table which made it feel a bit production line and that we were being rushed. Also nowhere to wait inside and so the people on the shift after us were having to wait outside in the rain for their table. Overall though worth a trip as the food was really really good
Second time I’ve been. And again. Fabulous. Fabulous food and fabulous staff! Thank you for hosting us x
Good food and service.
Wonderful food and great service. We have eaten here many times before and will continue to.
Excellent service, if anything food delivered a little too quickly. Food also excellent - the 4 of us had different dishes and we all loved everyone else's; my wife thought hers the best she'd had for years. Tables a little small and quite close together and, for us older folks, noise level rather high. All the same, a meal and an evening to remember.
Fabulous food as always, a cut above typical Thai restaurant food. You pay more but it's worth it, especially if you're treating somebody, and by London standards it's almost a bargain. The service could have been quicker at times, but then the place was rammed when we were there. One small gripe: I understand no-shows are an issue for restaurants, but I had to confirm the booking by text, and by email, and by phone - is all of this necessary?
Foods were fantastic, and staffs were friendly and helpful.
Great food, great service - very accommodating to our changing needs. Did I mention great food...
It’s very expensive compared with similar Thai restaurants, but the food is worth it. Service a bit surly.
Great food and amazing service, kind and very friendly!
This place is always fantastic. Very consistent in food, service, and price. Glad to have Champor Champor in the neighborhood!
The food was delicious but I would have liked the veggie food to have a few more veggies on it. The price was overall decent for vegetarian/vegans. However, my meat/fish eating friends found theirs to be quite pricey. We got a private room which was nice - we didn’t ask for it which was a nice surprise.
Very busy restaurant, with a bubbly atmosphere. More unusual thai food options, definitely worth a visit. A bit more expensive than usual thai restaurants.
Really delicious food, with a good range of vegan options as well as meat and fish. Slightly slow service in terms of taking order, bringing the bill etc. But our food came quickly once ordered. Nice interior - good place for either a date or dinner with a group.
I'm not a fan of spicy food, so the waiter was really helpful in steering me through the menu. We all enjoyed our food and this is a restaurant I would happily return to.
Really good value for two courses with drinks.
Would recommend for ambience ,service and value, all superb. The menu was interesting but the food, when it arrived, was very ordinary, boring, no zip. Good beer though. May be better in the evening.
Great food, wide variety of dishes and staff available to offer advice. Shame we had to wait a while for the main course and the bill. Have eaten here a number of times now and will definitely eat here again if I have the opportunity to do so.
Excellent food and at a reasonable cost given the restaurant's location. I would especially recommend the beef rendang! Service was pleasant, and good advice available for a member of our party with an allergy. Certainly hope to go again when next in London.
Food was amazing! I had the butternut squash and crunchy chickpea laksa, so tasty. My friends had the thai green chicken thigh curry, and the beef rending, both of which were also delicious. My friend said it was the best green curry she has ever had. We also shared a bottle of the Spanish white wine, which was lovely and light. Would definitely recommend a visit here!
What an amazing place to find. The decor is amazing, tables have enough privacy - you don’t feel like they are cramming in as many people as possible. The menu is terrific and food is beautifully prepared. And for a rare treat the mezzanine table looks excellent.
Delicious food (all the curries are so flavoursome) but rather on the pricy side. Smooth service despite a full restaurant. But a bit disappointed, was hoping to enjoy the decor of the restaurant, however, we were seated in some back room - to be honest felt very isolated. Probably would give them another chance hoping this time they wouldn't sit us in this tiny backside room.
Great Food. A large variety of vegeterian dishes. All very tasty.
The decoration is beautiful. One of our best choices in London.
Beautiful food service and such a cool place to eat. Loved it!
The place is easy to get to, the decor quirky and great fun, and the food is outstanding - inventive dishes drawing on the cuisines of Malaya, Thailand and Indonesia. Always a good range. Portions are generous. Service is friendly and efficient.
Relaxed feel, unusual decor, moderate noise until family with baby arrived. Service was friendly and helpful about altering menu according to wheat intolerance. I had beef rendang and though very tasty was a bit disappointed as there was no vegetables at all and some of the beef was really firm. The vegan green curry was good, vegetables cooked just right, not too firm or too soft. Thai and Malay food are my amongst my favourite and I'd honestly go somewhere else than here again as it was quite expensive.
A great little find! No sign of the typical furnishings that Thai restaurants tend to have, instead some beautiful and unique pieces. Simple tables and chairs added to the charm. The service was very friendly. We shared a number of starters and side dishes which were all delicious. Not cheap but worth it.
A nice place to eat. Not so good value for money. £3.70 for two spoons of rice. I cant say I'll be back!
Great food and service! Great please for an affordable and tasty experience.
I have been here twice now and whilst the food is lovely, it is very expensive for what it is. There are by far better places for much less money. The service was very slow - took 20 minutes to be asked if we would like a drink on arrival. Food was lovely as always but eye wateringly expensive - 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 rice, a glass of wine and a beer for £95 is a lot!
Really great food, staff could be a bit more happier looking though - sorry to say..
In any case, read my review here: https://freshearth.co.uk/reviews/vegan-dining-at-champor-champor/
Perhaps you should fix that cooler. It was too hot for a summer day and we were so sweaty.
The food and the hospitality was perfect. Enjoyed a lot.
Really great food and service. The starters particularly were outstanding. It was very noisy, but that was due in large part to the table next to us and they kindly reduced the volume level when we explained members of our party were finding it hard to hear.
Had a lovely dinner with my sister and enjoyed the experience from start to finish - tasty free hors d’oevres when we sat down, nice cocktails, pretty and tasty dishes, friendly service. Thank you!
My friends and I had a really nice dinner!
The food is excellent and the staff was nice
It was not our first time there but we will come back again for sure
Simply amazing ! Food was great it was one of the best curry I have tried . And I have tried many . The staff was so friendly and all was amazing I recommend it
There is a reason you must have reservations here. It is outstanding in every way.
