Overall we enjoyed our evening dining with you. Unfortunately we had to wait, with our starter already served, for our ordered wine. Fortunately the starters were cold, but the wait was annoying.
Excellent food and service. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were not treated differently because we were not resident. Offered seats in the dining room or the terrace, we chose the latter. We didn’t feel rushed. Excellent value for money. We went back the following night.
Excellent food and service. Staff were very pleasant and most helpful. Fine dining without the fine dining price!
Lovely restaurant and ambience to dine and talk in, waiters very attentive and knowledge of food was good with minimal interaction to allow us to enjoy evening together. Would highly recommend if you want a fine dining experience.
The service and friendliness of staff were excellent, however the food was a let down. Perhaps it's due to a wedding reception taking place at the same time there and it was a busy time but still.. the chicken dish was dry and sauce tasted burnt, vegetarian option lacks flavour and the fish and the steak werent great either. The only nice dish was the lamb. Needless to say we skipped dessert.
Booked this meal as memory occasion as it would have been my fathers 100 th birthday. Llandudno was our holiday place . The occasion did not let us down as the table overlooking the promenade was beautiful. The waiting staff were very polite and efficient and made it an enjoyable experience. The food was well presented and tasty . As it was a Sunday roast the meat might have been standing as it was quite well done for beef and lamb . The roast potatoes were a little dry . Otherwise everything was pleasant and well cooked with a good selection of vegetables. The ambiance was delightful as everyone was dressed up and the room bright and airy. There didn’t seem to be a maitre d . So we had a variety of waiters. No one asked what The occasion was although they had asked on booking .
Just ok. Poor service, stale hard bread. Nice prawn cocktail and cod dish
Very reasonably priced meals and value for money, excellent.
Staff were superb, very polite and professional.
This was our second evening at this restaurant so as we had to leave immediately after the meal for Venue Cymru Theatre , we opted to just have main course because of the slow service on the previous evening. Even so we had to wait over 30 minutes from ordering until the meal being served . My wife had ordered Fillet of Plaice priced on the menu at £19 and was very disappointed at the miniscule portion of fish . Perhaps it was because we had booked on the Hotel's Spring Dinner and Breakfast Tariff
Although the food , ambience and attentiveness and politeness of staff was very good the service was very slow as we had to wait over 30 minutes between the first course and main course and perhaps 20 minutes between main and desert. The portion size of the deserts were very small and did not represent value for money .
Were not impress with the food.i booked here because I had a Christmas dinner last year and the food was great.booked for mothers day but I felt embarrassed because I said the food here is really good but not on mothers day the salad was grim were all laughing this is it..the main is really depressing the dessert was alright not as bad as 1st two meal one of us didn't ordered the dessert put him off because of the starter and main..for £112 meal not worth it.
very nice meal and service very good
unfortunately food didn't all arrive together so had to wait for side orders
bar made mistake too with bottled beer
kids menu good
We had a lovely lunch. Service was excellent. Also, the gift of chocolates was a very nice touch. Thank you.
Beautiful Old World setting for a romantic dinner on the Llandudno Promenade.
We had to return one meal twice. Very disappointing. Poorly handled. Music was awful. Who needs light opera on a sunday at 7.
Very good quality steak. You don't get loads on your plate but it's more about presentation. Service was good at times, but staff did not check on how the food was during the meal and we waited a very long time to pay our bill despite it not being busy, staff need to be more alert.
An absolutely lovely experience, food was amazing , atmosphere was great, lovely views of the bay. Staff were very attentive & pleasant. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful place, amazing food. Thoroughly recommended
We had the lamb dish which was nice except the dauphinois potatoes was burnt on top and only one strip of carrot. The desserts were lovely and we would recommend the Welsh selection of cheeses. Value for money.
We had a pleasant evening, food was good, service was good but nothing to make you say "we must come again". The restaurant looked tired and very dated.
Lovely food well cooked which my wife and i enjoyed a lot
Good dining experience staff attentive and efficient bit expensive but food excellent
It was our first time chantrey`s but it won`t be the last thats for sure. The food, service and ambience were first class.
