Good Vegetarian Options
Opened in 2017, by gay couple Resh Sonchhatla and Heena Varambhia, chapati club is an honest and
pared back non-traditional Indian restaurant. Its menu is authentic and modest and relies on recipes
inspired and handed down by their parents and massive family. Dishes include Chicken 61, the classic
chicken curry named after Resh’s aunt’s door number and made using her legendary homemade
garam masala. The menu’s numerous vegetarian and vegan dishes which reflect Heena’s Gujarati
background, include the Bang Bang, triple cooked aubergine and their addictive Black Dhal. Not
forgetting the cheeky Pau Bhaji, buttery buns served with a spicy veggie mash. For the diehard
carnivores, the lamb mince (keema) version is a must!

What a fantastic find! I only discovered this restaurant at the weekend and I’m so glad I made an impromptu booking for the same evening. Excellent food from a really well thought through menu, with dishes ranging from the comfortingly familiar to excitingly new experiences for me anyway), and all executed to perfection. Staff were all helpful and super friendly, and the simple yet quirky decor really added to the whole experience (adore the Air India wall art). We will most certainly be making a return trip without doubt.

It was good, food was nice and staff were attentive, the space was a little small so as it got packed it was harder to hear my company but the vibe was nice

Chapati Club has quickly become our firm favourite for eating out in Acton. Not only are the staff incredibly friendly, but the food is fantastic - and such good value. The butter chicken is our fave!

First visit here and will defiantly give it another go. Food was good and fresh with plenty of veggie options. Only compliant was the acoustics needs something to dampen the noise. Worth a visit.
