Just wouldn’t recommend, service was great minus them forgetting to bring something but we’re only human, host was a character and really good at his job! sandwiches were a mix of fresh and starting to go stale. Not the best fillings but that’s personal choice. Had some cocktails and whilst beautifully poured they were very small for the price. Very over priced for what was offered. Expected more of an experience but was just another afternoon tea.

Our family of 4 enjoyed afternoon tea at the themed Charlie & the Chocolate Factory at One Aldwych. The decor was lovely, we loved trying the different teas, and the kid friendly food was quite tasty. Highly recommended with or without kids!

Absolutely incredible food and the service felt so personal.no waiting around for drinks or food .truly magical for kids .i took my wife for her 50th little treat and was blown away .

I took myself to tea to celebrate my cousin's birthday. She died when we were kids, but she loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so I thought this would be a perfect tribute. I chose the vegan afternoon tea menu and it was absolutely stunning from start to finish. The hand-crafted in-house teas were so delicious! With oat milk, I tried the caramel, the lychee, and the lemon verbana - all amazing but lychee was the stand-out. The savory selection was spectacular, with the hummus sandwich especially magical. Then came the scones with the most fantastic vegan pineapple clotted cream; I could have eaten it by the spoonful and will never forget it - definitely the most memorable element for me besides, of course, the delectable candy floss that adorned the beautiful sweets box. By the time I got to the sweets, I was so full that I didn't think I'd be able to finish them, but oh, I did, and I savored every delightful bite! The service was impeccable - attentive, kind, friendly, generous. The ambience is gorgeous, with a view of the street above and lovely chocolate walls. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the noise levels, but it makes sense that people would bring their kiddos, who would then be hopped up on sugar. So as long as you're prepared for that, you'll have a marvelous time, as I did!

The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Tea experience was really quite lovely. The food and drinks were beautiful and delicious and the staff were so nice and accommodating. I do however feel quite dissatisfied with the pricing. I obviously knew the price per person ahead of time, but felt like perhaps the experience might be worth it. There were somewhat sneaky added costs for a small child's drink that was supposedly included, but ended up adding an extra 25 pounds onto the bill. The entire thing cost $396 USD, which for two adults and two kids to eat finger bite sandwiches and some desserts is fairly outrageous. It was more expensive than any meal, includig fancy dinners with wine, that we had during our whole trip.
