Chateau-X has quite the story, born out of lockdown, we took a luxurious chateaubriand experience to homes across the UK.

Growing our offering throughout lockdown saw demand for us to increase so much, we knew we couldn't stop when life resumed to the 'new normal'.

That brings us to today, Chateau-X in Finnieston, our first official restaurant, home to our luxurious Chateaubriand experience, for a reasonable price. Not skipping out on quality either as you might know already, we're vocal about being local.

Our mission is simple - bring top quality British sourced meat and produce to our community, with a bit of banter on the side. So, what are you waiting for?

Honestly can’t say anything bad about my experience the food was lovely and steak was beautifully prepared & served. First time for both me and my boyfriend both of us are always planning to go back next month with friends!! Highly recommend and the savings on monday-wednesday is brilliant, very happy customer!

Love this restaurant, usually that is. There was a a bit of a wait even though we had a reservation. We were seated downstairs, I’d asked for a table upstairs in the booking but that was fine, it was busy & they obviously could not accommodate my request. The server was great, very friendly and attentive. Music was a bit too loud and we had a rather annoying loud table beside us, we struggled to hear one another talking. The food arrived, was so disappointing the carrots were raw, the beef was tough and really fatty to the point where my mum couldn’t cut through hers with the knife. The Yorkshire puddings were flat & not cooked through. The server asked if everything was ok after a while, I mentioned that it wasn’t & he offered to replace the carrots & yorkies, the carrots were still raw! Left feeling really disappointed & after that experience we wouldn’t return. Dunno what happened, even though it was busy they should have been able to serve well cooked food as I’ve experienced on all my other times I’ve visited.

Excellent food - Sunday roast beef and trimmings - and the staff were very engaging. All in all, a fab experience that we will repeat when we’re back in Glasgow!

Lovely Sunday roast with veggie alternative but limited starters(snacks) and only one dessert. Also felt rushed as only have table for 1hr 15 mins on Sundays if less than 6 diners.

Pleasantly surprised by delicious food. I have to admit, I kind of booked Chateau-X in a rush when looking to book a pre concert meal as we had tickets for the Ovo Hydro. I didn’t fully understand the concept of it being a Steak House. Staff we great at explaining and guiding us in our choice from the menu and I am happy to report, for someone who isn’t really a steak lover, I had the best Steak I’ve ever had! Beautiful cut of beef and great trimming’s. Defo one to try if you live your steaks. Great atmosphere and brilliant staff.

Can’t believe the amount of food we ordered and expected the bill to be alot more. Great food would recommend to everyone. Staff very attentive and friendly! Wine that was recommended was lovely

The food and drinks are excellent l, the service is generally very good too. My only issue is the time you have the table, 1.5 hours is not enough. They’d deem this hypocritical because we were 15mins late and they kindly accommodated our time by 15mins, but still 1.5 hours isn’t long enough to relax and have the full experience.

A fantastic fund , amazing huge perfectly cooked steaks and delicious sides. Make sure.you add the beef mac and cheese to your order, best we've ever had! Lovely decor and great service, we will be back!
