Sad to hear that today is the last day in business
It is sad to say, but my first time dining in this establishment will be my last, but not because something went wrong. It is because the owners have had to close the restaurant due to a family health issue. It is sad to hear that someone is ill, and I hope that they recover as quickly as possible. So sorry to not be able to enjoy the food and location again. But, the priorities of the owners are clearly in the right place. Godspeed and I hope everyone gets well soon.
The octopus, flatbread and parillada were amazing. We had to wait for quite a long time (more than an hour after we ordered...) to be served. Not sure what happened but it was annoying.
Scott, our waiter was excellent. Engaging, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was great, but Scott made experience truly superior.
Best view for brunch and a delicious cuban sandwich with fries. So yummy with unlimited mimosas! Thanks!
Empanadas were just amazing!! The fish was good, most likely froze at one time. Service was ok. View of water was amazing and lots of fans/circulation so it was not uncomfortable to sit outside in June.
PAELLA WAS AUTHENTIC AND DELISHOUS. We live in the neighborhood and can walk to the restaurant. I can't believe we have not been here before. I went to the previous resident here and liked it, I guess that the Pampas style made me less than enthusiast about the menu. That was a mistake it's a good restaurent.
Great food, service and value. I eat here at least once a month and it is always consistent. A fun place to hang out at the bar and watch the boats go by. Highly recommended.
I enjoyed everything!!! The service was amazing 🤩
Poor inattentive service
Waited over an hour for our Meat plate
Had to get up to ask where it was twice
No drinks were offered until I asked them to take off our 2 glasses of wine. I ordered one more waiting and they charged for it. The meat was huge sizzling hot and delicious once it arrived at 9:45 for an 8 Rez seated around 8:20. But too much to eat so late.
We also ordered drinks while waiting. Bill was too high for the service we got. View on the intercostal was nice but not nice enough for us to return the next time we vacation in Delray.
We were a party of 6 and our waiter was excellent and attentive. The food however especially for the prices they charge was so so. Way overpriced for the area and at the level of quality they are at. Paella was over cooked and a liquid mushy mess. $13 for a drink, you would think it would be made properly. Not impressed at all.
This place was pitiful... Seating offered outside at a dirty table, alternative inside had folding chairs.. should have walked. Slow service, food delivered inconsistent with the menu. Eggs Benedict served with solid yokes... Go anywhere else.
Air conditioning filters very dirty in the ceiling and so was the green cushions on chairs.
Food as always was great. Sadly, we had a waitress (Madison) who was very inattentive and slow.
Excellent restaurant. Excellent service. Amazing food. Thanks!
Ok Try to ask fir Jeffrey, excellent server
Great place to come for brunch and sick your boat right outside.
Restaurant was a nice service was very poor
Everything was great, it was a long wait for the food but it seemed they were understaffed. Aside from that little hiccup I give it 5 stars!
The service was awful and is usually below par. Our server disappeared after the order. Food was served by a Bus Boy type of worker. Food was extremely salty but no one ever came around to inquire. We were hoping to celebrate a birthday over dessert but the hostess forgot to tell our waiter and we asked for the check. Then we went to another venue to celebrate.
The food was very good.
I ordered a dessert and the Waitres bring another one,?according with the daily standard .
Nobody bothers you and you can Stsy hours . Nobody brings you the checks as soon as you finish eating
Wonderful atmosphere. Great food Never felt rushed
A decent mid-level restaurant on the Inter-coastal waterway. $40 steaks were what you might expect though the paella was excellent. Service was way understaffed but that’s fairly common post COVID, not their fault. The facility, however, needs a major renovation. Lots of peeling paint, the Che!! sign was coming loose in front, old furnishings and the bathrooms were a mess. For now, ok casual dining outside but not what I would pick if you were looking for something nice to celebrate.
The noise level was quite high at 1pm on Sunday as it was packed with diners but the music was so loud that my friend and I were virtually yelling at one another!
We went during happy hour and it took approximately a half an hour to flag someone down to give us menus. The servers in our section walked by our table frequently but refused to acknowledge us or even make eye contact. We finally commandeered a very nice and helpful busboy who took our order and delivered our food. We were never approached by a server. Although the food was fine and the view is nice, I will never return to this restaurant.
The restaurant is great, but we will avoid it on the weekend as it is so noisy that you can’t hear yourself think! Also, there is a limited menu on the weekend which is totally different than the one offered during the week.
The service, normally pretty swift, was exceptionally slow due to a staff shortage, or so it appeared, and the crowds as people no doubt are coming out more after the virus!
Overall very good.
This was our 4th or 5th time here. The food was excellent, as was the service. We sat outside and it was a GREAT nite. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal. The guys had steak which they said was excellent and my g/f and I had 2 different kinds of fish and we were both very happy.
I was not aware that the only food available would be a buffet until after we were seated. No where on the website or reservations was this noted.
We had great meal with a lovely view of the intracoastal. Our family was visiting from out of town. The portions were plentiful and tasty too.
A better heat shade on the patio is needed. Much too hot between 6:15 and 7:30
Portions on some meals are very off when multiple people order the same meal it from my table, you I would only assume they would look the same but they did not.Manager even told me that they reduce the amount of fries they give people on meals rather than sides which I find rather bizarre.
The service, the food, the location...everything was great!
Neither of us has even been to Che!! But it turned out way better than expected!
Fans weren't working and it was terribly hot. Food was mediocre.
Sunday brunch with excellent live music, food and bottomless mimosas. Fun people watching. Good value. Recommend.
It was clear the restaurant was significantly understaffed. Our server was working hard, but he was clearly stretched too thin. This doesn’t seem to be abnormal in Delray right now. There simply aren’t enough people to take open roles. The view was stellar, food and drinks were solid.
good food, great location and good prices for Brunch
Great atmosphere, delicious food
