   We had a nice dinner at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I am delighted to have discover this gem as its food and cooking are simply outstanding, and the place has very good ambience. Will certainly go back again.

   It was outstanding food, drinks and service, just fab as this visit was to celebrate our 45 years wedding anniversary and they made it so wonderful thank you all

   Cheal's never fails to go beyond expectations. From arrival to departure staff are attentive, polite and friendly. Food and wine as delicious as ever. Highly recommend.

   This is really an excellent restaurant. The diversity of food choices is impressive as it caters well for vegetarian/vegan preferences as well as for standard omnivores. The foiod presentation is good and the taste of dishes pleasing although we wondered whether some dishes were overelaborating in keeping with some modern trends. For instance horse radish rather dominated betroot salad starter snd the saltiness of ponchu was not ideal with banana souffle. Perhaps these observations have to be down to personal oreference though. Staff are pleasant and professional. It is impressive that this restaurant can accommodate 90 covers. Only disadvantages were the lack of restaurant parking (you have to use the Tesco car park which may not be ideal at all times) and a wine list which is generally highly priced. Nevertheless we believe that this establishment merits a Michelin Star and we look forward to returning in due course.

   Awful evening : particularly as I had invited friends from New York; fish was over cooked and very small portion; beef over priced and again very modest portion; considering it was a bill for £675 ( two bottles of wine included); I have been to Chirwa on many occasions and this was a shocker

   Fit was our first time dining at Cheal's and I have to say the overall experience was fantastic. I had booked the table for mothers day for my wife. The food starting from the canapés, starters, mains and desserts was excellent. The service staff were friendly and informative. The only criticism I can say would be my main course which was the market fish it was so delicious that felt the portion size of the dish was a little small and I could of done with something else on the dish but I would highly recommend going to Cheal's I can't fault it and we will definitely be going back

    Food was amazing service was a bit slow. We were a table of six but not the only one and seemed to be a bit overlooked.
