Chianti Italian Restaurant
Always a great meal here. Service is fantastic and quality of food is so high.
Food and service was excellent as always. Staff always make you feel very welcome.
This is a lovely restaurant with great staff but unfortunately the food really let’s it down. We ordered scallops, which were partially raw, risotto which was under seasoned and very vinegary, pasta which was just a bit uninspiring, we didn’t bother with dessert. We got the feeling that the food was rushed out and if the chef had tasted the dishes before they went out they would have realised that they weren’t right. Sort out the food and this could be a great restaurant, until then we won’t be back.
Had lovely time with grandchildren. Food and atmosphere perfect despite restrictions. Special mention for waiter for excellent service and his patience and banter with the kids. Thanks. Hope we can visit in the not too distant future.
Lovely place, staff are attentive and chatty
Food was delicious, warm and well presented
Expensive for the portion of food offered. You charge for a small portion of Ravioli £12? too much for a tiny portion, rediculous
We had a Christmas party night out from Glasgow at the table next to us that were out-with our tier level and quite vocally challenged with the choice of language that you could not help but be included in and absolutely no challenge from the management in regards to the movement between tables which made us very uncomfortable.
During these unprecedented times we would not be comfortable to return.
Restricted menu compared to what’s on the website - but still very enjoyable.
Distinctly average food.
Pasta sauce was tasteless and lacked seasoning. Tiramisu was not tiramisi. It was overwhipped double cream with ladies fingers that had a tiny bit of espresso on them.
Overall quality of food was poor, service was good. Not sure if they'd been overwhelmed by numbers wanting a table post lockdown?
Took my mother in law out for lunch with my daughter. She thoroughly enjoyed it as did we.
Lovely to get out again after being inside for so long. X
Lovely place with great food and atmosphere.
Lovely dinner, beautiful ambiance and friendly waiters - will definitely be back!
Our favourite Italian restaurant, great food fantastic service.
Beautifully Designed restaurant with amazing touches like a tree that you can sit under it you are lucky enough to get the right table.
I recommend asking for the centre tables when booking.
Very energetic and charismatic manager that makes you feel very welcome and had are whole table laughing.
Menu is traditional Italian, I had special starter which was a fried mushroom with blue cheese. Surprisingly tasty and cod fish for main which was perfectly cooked.
I got a bottle of wine and tiramisu to take home with me.
All in all great place and glad I found the place! Will be back soon.
