The aubergine in miso was amazing and so were the cod cheeks.
It was Saturday night and so there was a very energetic and fun vibe.
Servers were too busy so no that attentive.
We were expecting amazing ceviche which disappointed a bit on that.
Pisco sour and margarita didn't have enough lime.
Overall slightly expensive for what we got but good food and ambiance.
I have been to Chicama before and enjoyed it. Do not go on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is toxic. A nice neighbourhood restaurant turns into a pretentious wanna be which overrides the cuisine which is actually pretty good
Great food, very refreshing menu, ingredients and cooking. Delivery of dishes was inconsistent in terms of the amount of time it takes between courses. Great spot for a date or family / friend gathering.
Amazing food , great atmosphere. Would definitely come back - lovely front sitting area
OMG! This was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. Each new dish arrived and each dish brought groans of pleasure from our table. Staff were lovely, good wine list, relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely food. Service a bit slow and tiny bit inattentive - good but not 5 star.
The food was amazing!! The prawn toast was delicious and we have the special fish of the day which was so tasty. Would definitely go back.
Second visit for me and my wife's first visit. Needless to say, if you don't like seafood... you won't like Chicama but if you do...
The food was delicious again. Between two of us we had a few cocktails, 3-4 starter size plates (aubergine, cauliflower, tuna, peppers) we tried the trout and squid too and finished with the banana yuzu ice cream. All were great though the squid was probably our least favourite, I've had the Octopus before and wish I'd chosen it again as it is sublime.
All up £125 and we were stuffed. The wait and bar staff were fantastic as we had bar seating so it was nice and interactive. Can't wait to go again!
Superb food excellent service and great ambiance. Recommend thoroughly!
Great food, good service and nice place to eat. Will definitely come back.
Great food and service. Very nice ambiance too. One of the few cool restaurants in Chelsea!
we are regulars and this was not as good as usual- too much salt!
Great food and good service. It's a pity the place is so noisy.
top notch peruvian japanese cuisine super yummy
Service impeccable, food was wonderful, lovely setting would highly recommend
Good restaurant, nice food, service had a few issues that evening.
I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times and it has never failed to impress. Service was impeccable. They now have a menu with allergens listed which made one of my dining companions who is lactose intolerant very happy! Seafood was fresh and well cooked. Restaurant has a very relaxed and comfortable feel. Expensive but it’s consistent with location and quality of the food. Highly recommended.
Lovely place with great food. We had the tasting menu ( 1 vegetarian and 2 regular) and loved pretty much everything! Food was tasty, fish was fresh and we loved the concept of sharing everything. I also felt it was fairly priced. Overall will highly recommend it.
Very good foods and very nice location👍👍
Food was delicious. Especially fish.
Phenomenal !!! The food was incredible and the marshmallows are a MUST. Had the best time here and would go back again in a heartbeat. Loved the sharing concept everything was perfect.
It was all fine, very good looking but not the best overall tasting. Service was a bit all over the place. Better in pictures than reality.
Very good experience as always. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is amazing.
Amazing food and ambiance!
Absolutely amazing. Love the shared plates. Exquisite selections and lovely presentation. The Aubergine was amazing as the tuna. Service was friendly and attentive. Manager was so accommodating and pleasant. Took the time to engage in delightful conversation and story if the restaurant
We just loved Chicama. We went for the fish tasting menu, absolute heaven.
A lovely ambience, with a nice relaxed vibe. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a lovely evening
Good food, very pretty space. We went at lunch and it was quiet and relaxed.
We had taster menu. It started well with raw fish with sauces but soon descended into a dark valley of stodgy vegetables and ither unknown substances in over flavoured sauces. One sauce which looked like porridge kept returning. And what did they do to the aubergine? Sickly sweet and cheesy? By the end of the meal was very pleased to be leaving. Unsubtle flavour overkill and often too salty. Helped along by overly bassy music. A disappointment.
Food was really good. Unusual dishes with lovey flavour combinations, some with a good kick of chilli. The sauces that accompanied each dish were especially nice and always had just the right amount. Everything was cooked really well and the waiters were attentive. I wasn’t sure the chart music really added anything to the atmosphere, but perhaps that is just a matter of opinion.
we love this place. Excellent, fresh and inventive. Always top quality.
Lovely ambience, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, and really great food.
I went with my husband for dinner during are vacation in London to Chicama. We had a great time, I strongly recommend anyone to go to this restaurant, it has a creative delicious menu and great costumer service. We loved it.
Superb food and service as usual. We live coming back.
I booked Chicama for a friends reunion hoping that it would be a nice, chilled environment where people could catch up while being able to enjoy the atmosphere and listen to each other. This did not happen as we got the table by the door, where a queue started to form shortly after we sat down for our booking at 7pm. The acoustics were terrible and the noise levels unreal. Perhaps it would have been better on a week night. The food was great and so were the drinks. Service was done with a smile, however, anyone could sense they could not wait to get you out so as to get the next seating in. It’s just not what you expect when you spend quite reasonable amounts of money. It was not a relaxed evening as the diners were made to feel on edge due to the noise and the fact that the waiters and waitresses were wizzing around waiting for us to either place more food/drink orders (which was impossible as we went for the tasting menu), or get you out as soon as possible. I would probably go again, as I really did enjoy the food, but never again on a Saturday night. It’s the kind of place where people go ‘to be seen’ and it just gets so easily packed which can ruin the experience.
The food was incredibly flavorful and the tastes were unique. Their service was so good and the staff were the friendliest and warm. The overall experience was one of our best here in London.
My first visit and it was fantastic, Couldn’t recommend more highly loved it and will be back!
Great setting. Tasty food but small portions for the money. Service was also a bit slow and unattentive
You can't go wrong. All great 👍👍👍
Came here with my parents and boyfriend for my birthday meal, unsure what to expect, but the service, food wine was fantastic!!! Could not fault it very impressed will come back!!
