Arrived to find restaurant permanently closed.
Distinctly average. Nowhere near as good as the Tooting branch.
One of the wall lights opposite us had malfunctioned and was flashing on and off. Mentioned it to staff but they did nothing about it. Eventually had to move table. Great if you suffer from epilepsy
Quick meal before the theatre . Fast service and tasty food . We will be back .
Although the food was good, it wasn’t
Sorry disappointing visit, on arrival we asked waitress for a table in the corner which needed wiping and clearing, she seemed unhappy doing this. Air con vent was blowing cold air so we asked a passing staff member if we could move to the back section of the resturant as it was empty, this was fine.
Waitress was effiicient but not particularly welcoming, we mentioned it was for a birthday meal which she said i know youve mentioned this already!
Tiny efforts would have been appreciated on Monday and made for a better evening.
It was a lovely space and the food was delicious! Definitely go there again and for a date it was quite cute too! Staff were friendly and overall it was a great space
Found the food ok nothing special
Why do staff insist on trying to clear plates when some of group are still eating? Not due to being busy as we were the only people eating!
We loved it here, I hadn't been to the Wimbledon branch before. It is a much nicer one than the other branch i have been to in London. The staff are very accommodating and the food was delicious!
Very good food, service very attentive but at the same time felt like a rush (wiping the table down when we asked for the bill instead of waiting til we had left). It was not busy.
Really friendly waiter, costly but yummy food.
Good food and service. The restaurant was fairly quiet and so lacked a bit of atmosphere but we had a nice evening.
We waited for 45mins for food due to all the deliveroo, just eat etc orders. They were not staffed up to deal with the demand.
When the order came, mine was wrong, due to waiter not confirming back the order to us and mis-hearing what i ordered.
They promised a reduction of the bill but when it came i had to go and request the reduction. Hoping they just had a bad day as the food was good, but service and waiting time was not acceptable.
Very tasty food and an excellent opportunity to chill out with friends and family. The staff were friendly and provided a professional service with a smile.
Like a nice version of Nandos.
Good food. Really enjoyed it.
Great for a quick meal or for eating out with kids
Chicken Shop in Wimbledon is in a prime location for pre-theatre dinner. We ate here on a very quiet night; the food was great with a delicious vegetarian and chicken burger options, the service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.
I took my two sons to Chicken Shop as a "treat" for a Sunday. As a member of Soho House, i had heard a lot about the Chicken Shop without actually visiting. I was not disappointed, the food is excellent, the boys loved their burgers from "Dirty Burger" and i couldn't get enough of the rotisserie chicken, especially with the sweet potato fries. The only slight negative is that the restaurant was a little cold (it was a freezing Sunday night in Feb) and the toilet area is arctic. That's the only thing that stops me from giving 5/5 - but top line, we'll be back. And soon.
Booked a table on Xmas eve before the panto on Open Table but unfortunately arrived to find the restaurant was closed. Could not give more than one star as no idea what the food etc is like! Will not be using Open Table again, rubbish service.
Booked a table on Open Table for after theatre only to be told by the staff they were only doing takeaways after 9pm!
