Love the decor could be sitting in the Mediterranean. Vast selection of food choice
Good food, Good atmosphere. Only downside being they did not have any of the starters we wanted and one of the mains. But the food we got was fantastic. Would go again.
Amazing food and atmosphere, didnt have my booking on there system though.
a 10-star restaurant and a full service... and great dishes.I have noted that the kitchen is very clean, that's an extraordinary thing.
Absolutely brilliant 1st experience during lunchtime 👍🏼From the moment we walked in, the ambience to the food, everything was superb.
Meal itself was great.
Looking forward to trying this venue in the evening/weekend soon👍🏼
Thank-you Raph for the tour & making us all feel welcome 😀 See you all soon. Harsha x
The food was not great. Fatty lamb chops, lumpy mashed potatoes. Poor
Food was tasteless and overcooked, not worth the price they charge. definitely won`t visit again.
Very good service..staff friendly end place very nice..
Really quirky atmosphere, amazing selection on the menu of dishes you don't often see. Food quality was extremely good and the service very friendly.
Great slightly quirky restaurant, really good food, great friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely come back.
Verry good place, nice and quite with good music. Service was on the high level, verry nice guy from pakistan who ask us every 15 min if everything is ok.
We attended for valentines and we waited 1 hour and a half before being told that they did not have what we ordered. prior to this we had to re choose from the menu as they didn't have what we initially wanted. To top that of the customer who came after us got given their order with one of the orders they just ran out of. We had to wave relentlessly at the waiting staff to ask for a drink and then we were given a menu and the waiter went of knowing we were ordering drinks. in the end we had a shambolic apology and given free prosecco and we left hungry and went to the curry house cheaper quicker and better food. on the way out another customer spoke about his dismay with the quality of food in chilli and said we were not missing out! shame as I heard this was suppose to be good
Booked online after reviewing menu. Once seating were presented with a VD special menus that was unexpected and my partner wasn’t too keen on but service were very accommodating and let us use normal menu and order accordingly. Food was pretty good. Ambience ok with very unusual and bespoke decor, service staff were excellent.
Thanks for amazing foods! Perfect for a fun dinner in warm and friendly atmosphere.
Excellent experiece overall.. though you want to mention about the parkingin advance to people when they book.
Couldn’t fault it, food & atmosphere great & live music xx
very good service, all dish very tasty, pleasant atmosphere inside the restaurant
Over priced food (only Xmas fayre menu available). Beef was very tough and all gristle and had to be returned, (new meat was ok). We had the 4 complimentary mulled wines but two of them had been added to our bill at the end and when we told the waitress after a very long and complicated conversation she apologised took the bill back but only took one off so we ended up paying an extra £6 we shouldn’t have as we had all lost the will to live by that time and had no energy left to return the bill again. Overall very poor food poor service and value for money. We would not return
Amazing atmosphere and great food. Service average. Despite being almost empty, drinks arrived after we had finished our starters, staff standing around. They need some serious training on service and this isn't the first time we've experienced that. Despite that we will return for the ambience and food in hope that they will step up the service side.
Smashing friendly staff serving yummy spicy food. Simply amazing!
This is my fourth time at chilli village and before this visit I have always rated it 5 stars for everything. My meal this time was very disappointing. I was also very dissapointed with the option if Xmas menu only and only 4 options to chose from. The staff were great and the atmosphere fantastic but as I took a friend for her first visit I was very dissapointed.
we were booked in early so went before band started
table was not very Christmassy no crackers etc
jug of water on table had to ask 3 times for glasses then they brought 4 glasses when there were 7 people at the table
scallop starter was luke warm but main was very good no one came and asked if everyone was okay with their meals could have been a bit more interaction with the table, the waitresses were walking around but never came over.
We was surprised that they had only Christmas meniu in end of November... Not happy at all 😩
We were very disappointed as we’d chosen this restaurant based upon the menu on the website.
When we sat at the table we were told that we could only choose from the Christmas Menu .. . . on 30tj November.
The menu was very limited so we left.
Great choice of food, even suitable for dairy/gluten free. Love the decor! Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside was not much choice of wine. Was nice to be able to get up and have a dance after dinner 😄
Excellent meal at Chilli Village. Went with family for Halloween themed night with live music. Atmosphere was brilliant, food was delicious and had superb presentation... The music was great too, as good entertainment but not too loud. Everybody enjoyed the night out. Strongly recommend.
We enjoyed our meal out (was a tad expensive) but the food was lovely. Was much quieter than I thought it would be for a Saturday Eve but I would go again for a special occasion.
A nice venue with a simple but diverse menu to cater for all. However, most notable was the very poor service. On arriving we were left standing at the entrance with no one to seat/direct us despite one manager/waiter walking around; he did spot us entering but turned away to do nothing instead of tending to his new guests. We approached the bar and waited for about 5 mins before the bar man asked for our order at the same time as another manager/head waiter spoke to us, took our name and said our table was ready if we wanted to seat, which we did. this was a mistake as it then took around 10 mins before someone came to take a drink order and another 10 for that to arrive, along with the menus. At the 1 hour point we had finished our first drink and were still waiting for our starters to arrive, which we had to chase. We asked the first manager/head waiter for a second drink and had to chase him 10 mins later when the drinks did not arrive. We then had to repeat our order to a waitress and then wait a further 10 mins for our second drink almost 90 mins after arriving. The main course arrived at around the same time. The food was good, not great and a little over priced. The restaurant was busy but did have around 6 people working the floor, although the first manager seemed to do little except tend to the 2 ladies on the opposite table; he tended to their table 5-6 times that we counted despite them being their half the time we were. He did not attend our table once - we had to grab him as he passed. Additionally, he ignored my wife when she asked for a second drink and he did the same to a lady on the next table. This was a disappointment as I had wanted to go to Chilli Village for some time. After the very poor service I would not go there again nor would I recommend it anyone else.
Great food, great service, and great music entertainment. All in all a fantastic night out. Will definitely be going back!
Very good food with good menu choice.
Nice atmosphere with live music
Friendly attentive staff
Would visit again
My second visit and won't be my last.. the food is outstanding and the menu extensive ( deserts are quite limited) but the service, wine, and surroundings are second to none in northampton. Not very busy and not fast food. Served with love and thought.
Really good food and nice atmosphere but the service was quite slow especially as there weren't many diners.
I would like to say how lovely the place is ad food is amaizing
Good food, with very original decor. Friendly service
Bank holiday only one person serving drinks and food he took a phone call while serving us from the boss who kept him from doing his job so he took a while to serve us was disappointed a friend had a great experience but I was disappointed all round.
We wanted to impress friends visiting us from the South Coast and booked Chilli Village as it has that 'something different' factor in the decor and style of the place, and we had visited twice before and been impressed, even 'wowed'. Certainly our friends were impressed and we were shown to a table for 4 by the window. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and waited and chatted for five minutes or so and eventually the wines arrived, both of which were not the ones we'd ordered. After the confused waitress took them away they brought another bottle of red which was also not the one we ordered. Not good so far. The table for four behind us meanwhile had been served their meals and within a few minutes they were all sent back to the kitchen. Still we had no pre-dinner drinks and asked for some water which arrived eventually. Having lost complete confidence and after being in the place for 25 minutes we made our excuses and left. We offered to pay for the water and to their credit they waived that. The point of this review is not to trash Chilli Village's reputation, but rather to give candid feedback about getting first impressions right and at least providing the wines as ordered or a credible alternative with some explanation. Our confidence to eat anywhere is that the details are being paid attention to, which was so demonstrably not the case on Wednesday evening. We had a lovely meal in the Stuffed Olive across the road btw. Our friends will certainly remember Chilli Village though perhaps not for the right reasons.
Beautiful food, service was amazing.
Incredible food and staff. One of our favourite restaurants! I recommend the Steak tartare, venison fillet, and Mediterranean octopus. Best I’ve ever had!
We really enjoyed our evening at Chilli Village. Live saxophonist playing in the background whilst we ate our delicious meal was the icing on the cake. Lovely food and lovely decor. We will be back soon.
We were seated quickly with a menu and the drinks followed shortly. There was just about the right amount of time between each course and drinks were kept topped up. Food and staff were very good
I would recommend to a friend and would book again myself
The band were great just the right ambience and noise level
