Fried chicken and beer. A match made in heaven, right? Koreans love the combo so damn much they’ve dedicated a whole word to it. Pretty much a national pastime, Chimac comes from “chi”, short for “chikin” plus “mac” from "maekju", Korean for beer.
Inspired by this fried chicken obsession, we're proud to bring a taste of Seoul to the heart of Dublin. Think crispy free-range chicken that’s irresistibly good and sauce so delicious you’ll question all life decisions so far.

Got in and was sat by the window, I have a bad back so I asked for the lower chairs and was told that they were all booked out (even though I also booked. And my table was for 3 people and there was two lower tables available that could seat two) I was physically very uncomfortable for the duration of this dining experience. Usually I get takeaway but wanted to treat myself to an outing. The burger was good. Flavors are amazing as always but burger was kinda cold. - maybe it was left sitting on counter or pre made? As the bun was a bit soggy. Chips were over cooked and a lot of oily ones. Didn’t get dessert as I wasn’t able to stay for too long. Service is good. Main waitress seemed a bit stressed but she was grand & considering how busy it was too!
Overall 6 & a half out of 10.
Everything was absolutely amazing, best chicken I've ever had by a mile! All the sauces, cheeses etc were so delicious!
Staff were so friendly and polite, lovely atmosphere.
Food was delicious, particularly the bacon cheese fries. And the service was absoutely excellent. Very clean and safe, wait staff all wearing masks.
Couldn’t recommend a better place. Absolutely amazing chicken, the burst of flavours and aromas are out of this world. Service is also amazing 14/10 would recommend to anyone for great cheap eats!
Excellent food, amazing staff. Music way too loud. If wine was included on the menu I would have ordered the crois du vents but I didn't see it on the shelf untill after the meal

Top class meal and service. Craft beers are good but expensive - would like option of more traditional drinks also. Place is a bit bright they could dim the lights to create a better vibe for an evening meal but overall very good

Very average food and service. Usually am very open about trying new places especially when Korean fried chicken is hard to find in Dublin but was quite disappointed with this place.

Good food. Bit messy to eat so look out if it's a date 😁 Get the cucumber salad and cornflake ice cream sandwich - they're the best parts!
Staff were very nice and social distancing was adhered to. First time having korean bbq and was not disappointed, very tastey. Docked a bit for ambience as it is quite bare bones inside which is fine to me but that's the grading. Docked a slight bit for price also but I certainly didn't feel like I was over a barrell
Brilliant food. Super friendly staff. Really cognisant of Covid regs. I just love Chimac, you can't get this soft brined chicken anywhere else.
