Chin Chin Melbourne
Chin Chin restaurant is open 11am till late, 7 days a week and focuses on South-East Asian cuisine with Benjamin Cooper at the helm as executive chef. We're modelled on the dining halls of Asia with a shared-eating concept and therefore operate on a walk-in only policy for groups of less than 8.
We where a table of 8 dining on Saturday August 19th 8:30 pm, booking under Fatima and we had the best waitress I've ever had at any restaurant and we eat out a lot! 10 out of 10! Made my bday very enjoyable
Have been here a few times, worth a go but because they're so busy, waiters can be a bit rude, by that i mean, they have a time frame and even if your hand is on your plate, they will try to take it away, extremely rude. They also offered to cancel a meal from our set menu, im fairly sure it was more due to the time constraint rather than them not wanting to waste food. They did not alter the price i dont think.
I was overall disappointed with the waiters but as usual the food is really good!
Thanks ChinChin for a great night. We booked a table here for 10 to celebrate a birthday and the food was great and service spot on.
The feed me option just made it so easy and perfect for larger groups. My favourite dishes were the kingfish sashimi and the pad suew. Only negative is we couldn't take more of the leftovers home!
Staff are friendly and helpful and have a sense of humour. These attributes compliment the food fabulously. Wonderful lunch was had by all
Staff is very attentive and the service is perfect.
Food is excellent and our group enjoyed the exotic food and the service.
Food was outstanding, cannot compliment the chef enough. Service on the other hand was lacking, constantly had to call out to waiters/waitresses for top ups of drinks and our waitress in particular was full of sass and made us feel like anything we asked for was a nuisance.
The staff were really helpful as we had a vegan and vego diners. The food was delicious, and we didn't feel rushed to leave. By all accounts, it was a lovely evening.
The food was amazing. We booked the chef's table as we had a large group and the food didn't stop coming! So many great dishes and so much flavor. The only downside was the table is so big hard to have conversation with everyone, it ended up being small groups and the music is a tad too loud. But overall a great place and would highly recommend!
Booked the Chef's Table to take some foodie friends out for a thank you and they were blown away by the food and service. Was well worth the trip from Geelong and will continue to highly recommend.
Great food, vibe and service
Fabulous night with 9 interstate friends. Food was fabulous and the service from Amy was outstanding. It was a very memorable night, and a great way to kick off our reunion. The girls are still raving about it. Cannot recommend Chin Chin enough. Never disappoints!
The food, atmosphere and service were exceptional. Love this place. Only negative - I wish there was more pork in the dish for set menu. We ran out and not everyone got to have a taste. There was plenty of everything else and we couldn't finish all the food. Can't wait to come back.

The food was brilliant as always. The staff were absolutely lovely about me changing our booking number on the day.
The only criticism was that staff weren't as attentive as usual during the meal. We would have had more at least two more bottles of wine if they had been.

Friendly staff, amazing banquet food and mouth watering cocktails.
Very accommodating for vegans/vegetarians, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had enough food and highlighted what was vegan/veggie friendly.
