Chokhi Dhani London
As well as highlighting dishes from this ancient princely state, with its widely revered royal cuisine, the restaurant features dishes from across the subcontinent, whose textures and flavours ensure an immersive and multi-sensory experience.
On the ground floor diners can enjoy a street food concept, where the chilled mood counter balances the more regal ambience upstairs.
Chokhi Dhani also celebrates local culture through its collection of bespoke, handcrafted artworks, spearheaded by an awe-inspiring life-size bronze elephant.
With an aspiration to serve not merely food, but culinary art that pleases the taste buds and touches the soul, Chokhi Dhani changes the way we view Indian food.

Excellent food. Very good choice. Some of the best Indian food I have eaten in London.
A very nice restaurant in a good setting. Very handy for Vauxhall and Nine Elms.
Locals should make good use of it.
We ordered the feast to share as it looked like a lot of food . However the portions were just really small for the price
Great Rajasthani food. We were absolutely stuffed with the maharaja thali.
Overall it was a lovely experience, next to a harbour, quite beautiful setting however it was a mission to get to by car, I would think train is worst if you are not familiar with the area. Food was really nice however the lamb chops was overpriced for me, 2 pieces for £15! The Thali is something I would get to share and get extra curry each to fill you up. The chicken curry in the Thali was really nice, everything else was sweet for me, for those who are not use to the sweet taste I would recommend getting individual curry and starters. The service was really good, attentive and warming. The place was very authentic, lovely scenery pictures to take and the collections of jewellery and set up was really a nice touch! I went for my husband’s birthday and they gave a little candle and sweet treats to celebrate which was so thoughtful. Not sure if I will hurry back, but for those who are seeking a lovely authentic, romantic evening meal then this is your place!
Truly enticing. The ambience, the food, the service, the hygiene, everything on point. A must visit if you adore devouring the Royal Indian food.
The food was very nice although slightly expensive but this is to be expected with the location. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be a returning customer.
Wish they put some signs on the way to and from parking.
Great location and a cuisine beyond the usual Indian fare
The restaurant and location- absolutely beautiful, customer service perfect.
Food was terrible! Bland tasteless and over priced for what it is.
The food is unbelievably delicious. It’s one of the best foods i had. Everybody who went with me enjoyed a lot!!! The service is quick and people there are kind. HOWEVER, the only issue is that the menu is a little overpriced. For the Maharajah Thali the maximum price should according to me be £20-25. So that a person can finish off and individual dinner for about £40-45 including drinks desserts etc etc. But currently with £35 per thali the total for an individual’s dinner comes out to be be around £60. A little overpriced. I would go over and over and over again if the price was a little lower. But a must try for everybody, it was a pleasure!
Authentic Rajasthani food and nice spread. Manager Rajiv Jha was very welcoming and friendly.
As always such a lovely place to relax and dine. Service is always first class and even the trainee grew in confidence whilst serving; excellent
Excellent food and service. All staff adhered to covid compliance.
Not entirely sure If worth visiting... have been there twice with 12 months gap and both times feels like it is not worth it... though food is okay, overall experience is not great
You do feel some sort of cheapness in atmosphere though Menu is super expensive for a location like that.
The food was fantastic and service was impeccable
Alway welcoming, delicious filling food and beautiful interior. Really nice restaurant. I spotted it on the bus one day driving past and thought id give it a try and have come a few times since. Will definitely be back again!
Good food, slightly on expensive side
Their Laal Mass is amazing, Maharaja thali is worth trying, this was my 2nd visit and i will not think twice to revisit again. Well done.
Outstanding cuisine and excellent service as always
Service was so rubbish. Ordered 2 thali & was told u can top up . When we ordered Roti for top up it took almost 40 minute with the help of manager. After long wait a roti was burned & kadhi was seems 2 days old as was damn sour ( khatti ) . Only good thing was Goan manager was good polite apart from that we have literally wasted time money & energy
Too warm in there - must have been 33-35 degrees
Struggled to enjoy the food
Lassi is amazing though and really helped.
Would go again to see if experience better when air con sorted.
Very nice experience, highly recommended especially Thali is amazing.
Menu limited post lockdown - was excellent before
First time diner at this establishment. Too my wife for her birthday and they really didnt disappoint! From beginning to end, we genuinely had NO COMPLAINTS. Food was unbelievable. And a GREAT mix of beverages. It's a shame we were too full to have a lovely cup of Masala Chai. Thank you Choki Dhani for a lovely evening. Already recommended to family and friends!
Visited last year and food amazing. Was quite disappointed this time. Rice overcooked curry salty and bland. Great service and hygiene though.
Great service and ambience. Food is presented well however the taste and flavours could be enhanced to standards of top Indian restaurants in line with prices.
wonderful food, stuning decor -we loved the bronze mural-so clean, quiet and luxurious
The restaurant is not fully operational on all floors due to a recent flooding but this info is not posted anywhere on their website. Hence, to know this when we got to the restaurant was disappointing. Website gives wrong reflection as like us people could be travelling long distance to try the Rajasthani food that this restaurant serves and would expect good value for money they pay.
Food was amazing, location was amazing, decor was amazing but what stood out the most was the staff and their customer service. They work very hard but still have a smile on their face. Really appreciate the excellent customer service :)
Amazing food in an amazing space! Will definitely go again sometime!
By far the best Indian/Rajasthani Veg food in London. Have had a chance of dining in almost all the major Indian restaurant's here in London but Choki Dhani's food stands out...
Fantastic service and food. Staff were extremely welcoming and looking after us all the way.
We came here with big hopes and found the flavours of food were delicious as were the vegetarian Thalis. The meat (chicken) could have been more tender. The restaurant wasn’t too busy but wait time for food was just too long (we arrived 7.30 and had the mains at 9pm). Most disappointing was the service though for drinks. One drink was forgotten, when we asked for ice we had to ask again after 10mins. Tap water glasses weren’t topped up. This restaurant has a lot of potential but sadly our experience wasn’t great.
Great place for fine dining and especially for people who miss Indian heritage vibes in London. Good place to taste authentic flavors and experience good vibes.
The Best Authentic food I’ve had in London.
Really enjoyed the Thalia’s!
Very friendly staff. Food quality is very good, on par with cinnamon kitchen club but more traditional
The restaurant itself is a really beautiful and authentic looking place, however we didnt have the best experience. I had to ask to be moved three times as at first we were seated at a 7 seater table (when there was only 4 of us), and we were all shouting across the table. We were moved to a smaller table, however right infront of a room where there was no closed doors and there was a large event happening with 27 people. As you can imagine this was very noisy and loud as people were all stood up, drinking and mingling (as you would at an event). For us, this made the atmosphere very loud and unpleasant so I asked to move again preferably downstairs where we could actually enjoy our meal and catch up (we are a group of friends who live around the country and rarely see each other). Two different members of staff approached us and said it would be difficult to move us as the restaurant was very busy which I completely understood so we waited until we could be moved. Once we had moved it made a huge difference and we were able to enjoy our time. The food came out promptly and was delicious, and most staff were attentive and polite. The only disappointing thing was when it came to dessert; I am vegan and had made this clear to two members of staff. I ordered the only vegan dessert on the menu (and made it clear again that I could only eat the vegan dessert) and I was served something which was not vegan. When I raised this, a member of staff apologized and removed the item off the bill but by this time it was too late as I had eaten some which was upsetting. Overall the food was nice however the whole experience was slightly off putting.
Lovely restaurant. Authentic Rajasthani Indian food. Was nice to speak with the Head Chef Mr Qureshi. Will definitely be visiting the restaurant again soon.
Going for the first time. The food was delicious, good value for money, nice place, friendly helpful staff. Will recommend to family and friends. Will visit the place again.
Lovely restaurant environment but quality of cooking was mediocre at best.
Waiters were professional, friendly and kind.
Location was excellent, but thumbs down with the taste of food.
