The service was amazing and the food was very tasty. I will definitely be coming back here to try some more food on the menu!
Good value pre theatre meal. Lovely setting, smart and good service.
One of the best restaurants I have been to, food and service was excellent.
Really nice place, maybe next time i will come for more cocktails.
Top player George, great service. Thank you
The beef fillet had gone bad and was tasting sour . I was out with my fiancée so didn’t want to make a scene but the chefs should check the meat before they decide to serve it
We both had the pork belly dish which was amazing - really great flavours and great presentation. Service was good and relatively fast. My friend left a shopping bag behind and they made the effort to ring us straight away. Would definitely come again, thanks.
We had a great Sunday brunch at Christopher’s. The table was ready when we arrived and we were immediately served our coffees, the food was delicious - I love french toast but find it hard to find anything that rivals the good restaurants in the US however I was very impressed with the poached pear edition here and would come back just for that! The prices are fairly steep considering we only had a brunch dish and two coffees each which amounted to a little over £50 however if you are celebrating an occasion it is definitely a nice change for the regular substandard service you get in London and worth the splurge!
Amazing Brunch, would recommend!! greeted at the door, taken straight to our table and the staff could not do enough for us.
The food was good, the restaurant looked nice but was very empty. In spite of the latter, we were given a table next to the entrance of the table with waiters practically standing next ot use. Christopher's is a good option when the restaurant is full but this is of course hard to predict.
We had a lovely evening at Christopher's.
Would have no hesitation in recommending.
Service was very good and food excellent.
Generally quite nice, provided free treats for my friends birthday which was a nice touch.
Booked to celebrate me and my wife's silver anniversary. The food and staff at Christopher's made this celebration even more special, could not fault anything. Thank you!
We enjoyed our dinner at Christopher’s. The restaurant has a great menu and wine list and is highly recommended.
Best French Toast you will ever eat. Milk chocolate is better than the dark chocolate in my opinion.
I would recommend for the food but the service actually wasn't very good at all. Afterwards we did discuss why we hadn't asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill. Waiters seemed very unorganised, one took our drinks order then disappeared and the drinks never emerged so we had to ask a waitress instead. Also, we ordered a scrambled egg and salmon and it came out with no salmon. Before we had asked for the bill a guy who looked like a manager came over and gave it to us which I found really rude. He then was hovering and making it clear he wanted us to go but we hadn't even finished our drinks. He eventually offered us a table in the bar downstairs where we could take our drinks but I don't know why he didn't mention that first of all. If he needed the table he should've offered that table before he even brought us the bill. Such a shame as I'd been wanting to go there for brunch for a long time and it somewhat marred our experience.
Great food, amazing decor. Can get a bit loud but we did go on a Saturday in the Summer. Beautiful touch to birthday occasions. Really lovely
I had the most fabulous brunch at Christopher’s this weekend. Fantastic menu which caters to all tastes dietary requirements and the service was superb! My favourite was the french toast with the grilled peaches! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough and can’t wait to go back!
Having lived in Houston, Texas, I sometimes have a hankering for a menu that reminds me of a good Houstonian restaurant and Christophers ticks the box. Particularly like their brunch menu with lots of yummy options and variety to choose from.
The staff were wonderful, kind, responsive, and welcoming. The food however, was a bit stale. We ordered the shrimps Benedict and the muffin felt hard and stale. Onky 3 shrimps as well which seems overcooked and quite tough/chewy.
All in all, minus the food, everything else was great. Restaurant manager was lovely and helped take a picture for us.
Everything is amazing 😍
And they have the best French Toast I've ever tasted 🍞
My wife’s food was was average and when we mentioned this to the waiter the manager reduced the bill marginally but showed no interest in discussing!
Amazing service,especially from lorente
Carpaccio of beef was delicious but to be honest there was way too much. An entire plateful is too much for something like that and my partner left about 2/3rds of it.
My halibut was very overcooked which was really disappointing. The wine, service and ambience was lovely but the food was underwhelming. I have used the private dining room on numerous occasions for business and it has always been good. So I was overall quite disappointed having used the main dining room for pleasure rather than business. Staff were lovely and attentive however.
Great start to an evening g before theatre
Also I had booked for the wrong date but they still managed to accommodate our party without any fuss.. Excellent service and the pre theatre menu is excellent
Awesome French toast!
From start to finish, the staff were very welcoming, helpful, friendly.
The food was just exquisite, great value for money, amazing flavours.
Would definitely, 100% return.
Thank you for a wonderful evening.
The food was great! The staff was really nice but we did have to wait a while to order.
It was super loud we couldn’t hear my friend who was sat right next to me
Refreshed menu. I had the blackened shrimp and poached eggs and it was lovely. The milk chocolate French toast is a must-have.
We have been here quite a few times over the past three or four years and something seems to have changed. The food not it's usual self and the restaurant for a Saturday evening quite quiet. Not sure what has happened!?
The french toast seems to be the favourite amongst all visitors including myself and my mother. My mother had salmon and egg, having cooked egg we expected it to come out at least warm which it wasn’t. I understand stand plating the food and making it look pretty is important but it shouldn’t take soo long that the food loses any temperature. I really looked forward to the cinnamon beignets, most disappointing part of the meal. They had no flavour even with all the cinnamon sugar I could barely taste cinnamon and the dough was very bland, the taste of the dipping sauce was a let down.
I also on my booking selected occasion ‘Birthday’ which clearly meant nothing to our table, but to three tables in my seating ( one group and two pairs) all got a meal/dessert with a sparkler and Hppy birthday written on the dish. I ordered a disappointing dessert that came on a big plate with no message. It was a little upsetting especially as I believe it’s the little touches that help make an experience. It made it feel like I’d just taken my mother to a normal brunch and not because we were celebrating her birthday which was actually that day.
Excellent food and definitely worth the visit especially as it was a birthday meal. However service was a little lacking. There was numerous occasions where our server forgot our order and completely forgot to get our drinks. A rather big mistake that slightly ruined the meal was that one of our diners who was a vegetarian was given a bacon and tomato omelette - which was inexcusable. They did however quickly rectify it after having to make this clear to the waiter that this was their error and not ours and the vegetarian one was served up in no time at no additional cost. However the birthday desert selection was lovely and did make up a little for the faults. However my feedback to the restaurant is to perhaps highlight the staff the importance of remembering customers orders and actually bringing them the food without having to be prompted numerous times. Apart from the service it was a fantastic meal and I thoroughly enjoyed the food.
We had fabulous cocktails in the Martini Bar then had amazing food in the lovely restaurant, the staff were attentive, the restaurant has a lovely ambiance and decor. I have eaten here quite a few times and have always recommended to friends when visiting London.
Not only a fantastic bar serving the best cocktails the restaurant is pretty good also.
Abbiamo cenato qui dopo lo spettacolo the lion King, abbiamo ordinato due piatti dal menu dopo teatro, ottima cena peccato il ricarico esoso su acqua , vino e tasse
We had a wonderful dinner right before the play. Great night great meal
Lovely restaurant in a superb setting. We had a table with a view. Good service and food.
It was my birthday and the staff kindly brought out a small selection of cakes and a sparkler. Thank you :)
Will definitely be back! Absolutely loved the French Toast!!
Everything was good, except one of the waiters kept on checking my wife out, which I didn't like.
overall I liked it a lot and would come back.
All the other stuff was excellent.
