Christopher’s is a cosy restaurant, with some great views. The food was superb. Service was a little disappointing, quite slow. A great choice for pre-theatre.
Been to Christopher's a few times and it's never dissapointed. Beautiful ambience, great food, wonderful service and a wow setting makes it a hit.. Shall definitely return.
Delicious food, beautiful settings and the extra touch of the birthday dessert for my boyfriend made it a very special night
Great place and very attentive staff. I’ve been here a few time’s and it feels like the staff start to rush you through your meal after a certain amount of time.
Christopher's was everything I was hoping except for the server. She was very inattentive and spent our whole meal flirting with the other servers. When she DID come to our table, she was almost haughty.
Excellent service and dinner. As pre-theatre we greatly appreciated the promptness of the meal delivery. I would highly recommend Christopher’s. Lady Judi Gallagher, New Zealand.
Excellent restaurant in the heart of theatre land. This is my 2nd visit and both visits I ate from the pre theatre menu which was limited compared to the à la carte but very nice. The steak for a £5 supplement was superb. The setting too is grand in a grade 2 listed Victorian building which is beautiful.
Excellent pre-theatre deal - would have paid that price for the steak alone, never mind a 3 course meal. Excellent service - the waiter noticed my partner was feeling under the weather and bought him over a hot toddy!
Good experience as always
Christophers has an impressive dining room and very nice menu. Great drinks choices also.
Amazing French toast with chocolate and ice cream! The best!
Excellent fine dining. The staff were courteous and really attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing and so handy for our trip to the Lyceum theatre which was directly opposite. We had the 3-course theatre menu which was suffice and very tasty with 3 options to choose from.
Well worth a visit and highly recommended.
AmaIng food and service! Nothing beats their milk chocolate French toast...
Excellent food, brilliant decor, and exceptional staff.
Last Sunday, my fiancee and I had visited Christopher's for the first time.
I had requested a halal option before my arrival - and it was met! (Thank you)
Then, after we ordered from the menu, a brilliant staff member came back and had notified me that one of the dishes may contain an ingredient which wasn't halal.
My fiancee and I were extremely grateful that the waitress had notified us.
Great experience. Amazing birthday treat for her. We will definitely visit again!
Great food, super service, the kitchen was a bit of a strain - food that was requested to come in sequence ie dessert came all at once (well it was brunch, but still the menu is split up), and an item were missed off altogether.
Fab evening with friends. Friendly and prompt service. Loved the lobster bisque, the pork belly and most importantly the martinis.
Fantastic Friday lunch - if you are looking for some amazing food and luxury this is the place. Many thanks!
A pre opera visit. Early start time for opera so we were there at 5.00 and although we were first there the ambience was good and the restaurant gradually filled up. Having had a late lunch we chose the padron peppers to nibble and three starters to share. All completely delicious and beautifully served. Efficient and friendly service.
Beautifully presented starters and desserts with great service but mains were disappointing.
We were recommended by friends & this was our first visit. The staff were great & the best Pornstar martini i have ever had (i have had many in different parts of the world).
Food was delicious & i will definitely recommend to others.
Excellent service and attention. Delicious Caesar salad and both mains were tasty, well-presented and well-cooked. Ambiance is quiet and well maintained.
Only small negative, the bread was not worth the additional charge.
The food was of a very poor quality. I went in celebration for getting a new job with my sisters and regret having gone. The pancakes we ordered were dry, the eggs were undercooked - the white part of the egg was still runny liquid and our mac and cheese tasted awful like it was low quality cheese and was piping hot as if it had been frozen and reheated. We didn't eat the mac and cheese and it had puddles of oil at the top as the waiter took it away. Very overpriced for poor quality food, disappointed in slow service too. Save your money and go elsewhere in London.
the pancakes were the best i have ever had, so fluffy and light, melt in mouth, as was the chocolate brioche toast, definitely recommend those, although they charge you for additional chocolate sauce which for such a place is so disappointing and stingy!
main brunch portions were small, lacked flavour, too little sauce, but were nicely presented but nothing amazing
would recommend going there for desserts and drinks!
I loved this place! The service was very good. The french toast is the best I've ever tried in my life :)
Brunch at Christophers was lovely, had the Wagyu Steak with fried eggs and parmesan truffle fries. The steak was of great quality and cooked to perfection. Portion size was quite small though and was still hungry after the meal.
I've ordered crab meat as a starter. I found out that there's a crap shells in my food. inform the staff and it has been wave off in my bill. not enough waiter to pour our drinks we have to do it by ourselves. the steak is a bit dry ( I've ordered medium well). Quite difficult to cut.
Beautiful setting, with a comfortable atmosphere. Tables were well spaced.
Slightly disappointed with my main course as the Halibut was slightly over cooked, not by much, but just enough that it was slightly dry. Starters were good, desserts were probably the most amazing my partner and I have had anywhere ( chocolate brioche and pineapple tarts Tatum respectively).
Service was attentive and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome and we would certainly return.
I booked a table for my parents for my dads 70th birthday before seeing a show. They loved the food and the environment. Thank you for making it special by giving him a Happy Birthday pudding!
We will all come to you in the future
The food was excellent, however, the service ruined it to me im still very upset about what happened. It was my friends birthday and the receptionist was so rude she ruined the birthday. I hope this gets investigated.
The service was amazing and the food was very tasty. I will definitely be coming back here to try some more food on the menu!
Good value pre theatre meal. Lovely setting, smart and good service.
One of the best restaurants I have been to, food and service was excellent.
Really nice place, maybe next time i will come for more cocktails.
Top player George, great service. Thank you
The beef fillet had gone bad and was tasting sour . I was out with my fiancée so didn’t want to make a scene but the chefs should check the meat before they decide to serve it
We both had the pork belly dish which was amazing - really great flavours and great presentation. Service was good and relatively fast. My friend left a shopping bag behind and they made the effort to ring us straight away. Would definitely come again, thanks.
We had a great Sunday brunch at Christopher’s. The table was ready when we arrived and we were immediately served our coffees, the food was delicious - I love french toast but find it hard to find anything that rivals the good restaurants in the US however I was very impressed with the poached pear edition here and would come back just for that! The prices are fairly steep considering we only had a brunch dish and two coffees each which amounted to a little over £50 however if you are celebrating an occasion it is definitely a nice change for the regular substandard service you get in London and worth the splurge!
Amazing Brunch, would recommend!! greeted at the door, taken straight to our table and the staff could not do enough for us.
The food was good, the restaurant looked nice but was very empty. In spite of the latter, we were given a table next to the entrance of the table with waiters practically standing next ot use. Christopher's is a good option when the restaurant is full but this is of course hard to predict.
We had a lovely evening at Christopher's.
Would have no hesitation in recommending.
Service was very good and food excellent.
Generally quite nice, provided free treats for my friends birthday which was a nice touch.
