Very good food, as always. Excellent quiet unobtrusive service. Certainly not cheap, but then one would not expect cheap in this type of of establishment.
Great all round restaurant, staff where friendly and always approached us with a beautiful smile.. cant beat that!! Our steaks where cooked to perfection and service was delivered promptly
.perfect as it was a pre theatre dinner :))
Thanks for also making the extra effort being my wife's birthday.. we had a great time ..
As a person who studied tourism and worked in 5-star hotel I can tell you that the service was excellent, all staff including the receptionist were kind and presentable. They made me happy at the end with little surprise for my birthday 🎁 which was on them. Most of the fine-dining restaurants never give you something if you don’t pay even if it a special occasion. Christhopher’s is not one of them. This was the first time I’ve been there but definitely I’ll come back.
We like the restaurant very much but the pricing on Nero d’Avalo is rather excessive.
Celebrated husbands 40th, amazing food, thought salmon not as good as husbands steak and lobster. Worth going for the cheesy mash and steak mushroom sides!
A perfect venue for pre theatre pit stop.
Enjoyed a lovely cocktail in the bar and a super 3 course meal upstairs.
Very attentive waiting staff. (Not pushy though!)
We have already told friends about Christopher’s as it will be a very convenient place to meet before our trips to West End theatres. VB
We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had a really enjoyable experience. The lady who served us was very good, remembering one us was vegan, and the birthday firework was a lovely unexpected touch! Only down side, two of the guests were a surprise and when my husband and I arrived the lady at the confirmed the others had already arrived.
Visited on recommendation from the Lyceum Theatre before watching the Lion King and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and really enjoyed the visit. The location and decor of the venue was spot on. The only criticism is the length of time it took for us to get a bill to leave with tables either side of us being serviced first even though we were clearly finished with our meals.
I went to Christophers over the weekend. The food was amazing- We got the plain french toast and chocolate french toast(AMAZING!) and pancakes! We also got the chocolate and also the honeycomb milkshake.. both were amazing! I will be going back very soon to try the mac n cheese that I've heard loads about! The staff were all amazing too, very friendly and the whole restaurant looked amazing :)!
Very good service and food
We had weekend brunch, food was exceptional as was the ambience. Would definitely recommended the virgin cocktails, they were delicious. A bit pricey but lovely for the occasional treat
Great customer service, nailed it with the Wagyu Burger.
Dessert was spot on.
Not the cheapest but the quality of food and service makes up for it.
It was a lovely dining experience. The decor and ambiance was wonderful, calm and quiet. It is such a pleasure to go to a restaurant and be able to have a quiet conversation and feel a sense of intimacy. The service was attentive, courteous and unobtrusive. The food was very, very good and the portions were perfect. This is our new favourite restaurant when going to the theatre.
Superb location with excellent service and quality. (Look elsewhere for cheap and cheerful)
Our second visit - excellent food, ambience and service.
Overall we would not go back to Christopher’s. This area of London has so many great places to compare too:
- The service was mixed, good front of house but table service loud and inattentive
- Food, we think mean to charge 1) extra for sides when ordering a main and 2) expensive for bread. Also not remarkable in flavour.
- Ambience is great, liked the Art Deco feel. However not sure about the music (a bit thumps), why not play Great American Songbook?
Was lovely evening, best sirloin ever just needed a sauce. The dust on the tobacco onions was lovely
Was an unexpected last minute treat but well worth the visit. The building is beautiful which added to the experience. An anniversary treat too!
The menu is what brought me to Christopher’s but it exceeded my expectation. I had Surf ‘n’ turf and it was so lush! Everything on my plate was cooked to perfection. I honestly can not complain about anything that I experienced. From food to service to ambiance was lovely.
It’s always a pleasure visiting this place, I highly recommend. The decor, service and ambience and food are all amazing every time!
Perfect before the opera. Good theatre menu and reasonably priced.
Good menu and service
Quiet night as a Sunday so ambience was not as good as it could have been
Superb meal in a quiet corner booth with Great cocktails.
The restaurant went the extra mile for my birthday!
The whole experience is perfect, every time I visit.
Overpriced for quality of food but beautiful decor and professional service.
Very nice place and the food was very good. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.
The service is just way too poor... staff members were having an attitude when they served food
Whenever I come to London it is a must stop. Always lively and the food and service impeccable.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the excellent location of Christopher's. Being just off Covent Garden, it was very busy on a Saturday evening, especially in the bar area, but the restaurant was calmer and we enjoyed our food and evening. Thank you
It was excellent in all respects
Exquisite food, beautiful bubbles, with my lover and best friend my husband. We love Christopher’s return frequently.
Waiter was a bit snappy and impatient.Overall experience was good
I had a lovely time at Christopher’s the omelette and French toast was amazing
Pretty amazing food, especially the Brioche French toast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back
We visit Christopher’s every time we are in London, always for important events. They have never let us down, service and food exceptional. Staff could not be more professional.
The service would need some improvements. The girl with the black hair was nice, but the other one needs to learn. The food was fine.
It was my second time and I will come back.
If you have something to celebrate than choose Christopher's. Food is good, Service friendly and helpful and competent. Pricey but totally worth it.
Delicious food and good service, overall I would recommend this place.
Quiet, luxurious restaurant located a few steps away from the Lyceum Theatre. Very high prices but very good food with lots of information on allergens and dietary requirements if needed.
