Superior service and the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh and flavorful.
Went for drinks and a dessert which are usually served in the bar but the restaurant wasnt busy and they happily seated us (a party of 2) upstairs. The staff were friendly and polite and the french toast was delicious. Thank you to the kind team at Christopher's.
Food was excellent and the staff are very attentive.
Always a great experience. Never left this place disappointed. The food is great, well presented, always comes in time. Whenever Adolf is around outstanding customer service is guaranteed. We were looked after very well and had an amazing Sunday afternoon. Thank you for the whole team!!!
I went to Christopher’s for my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Would highly recommend, especially as it is so close to the Lyceum Theatre!
Thank you to the staff at Christopher's for making my husband's birthday dinner so memorable. The food and the desert plate at the end was really great! We did notice that the portion sizes are relatively smaller than the last time we visited, nevertheless, a great evening meal with friendly, welcoming staff and a beautiful settings. Christopher's never disappoints on that hence why we always come here for special meals.
Christopher's is a fantastic restaurant that reminds me of downtown Manhattan. The food is consistently great with good vegetarian and vegan options. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
Yummy food. Amazing French toast! We were full! Friendly staff.
We went to Christopher's for pre-theatre dining before opera. Staff was polite and very friendly. The restaurant is clean and has a warm/happy atmosphere. We were about to lack time after the main course since opera starts at 7pm, 30 minutes earlier than usual, but the waiter who served our table was very helpful after we told that to him, so we managed to finish 3-course dinner and did not have to rush out. Very happy to recommend the restaurant to family and friends :-)
I would probably only return for the desserts as the food is not good value for money. The quality of our meals was average. Nothing amazing.
Lovely place very cool And imposing near the theatres but swordfish main course was chewy. Panacotta was brilliant. Service was a bit slow as we had to get to the theatre. Drinks expensive. They provided a nice birthday cake surprise. At no charge I think. Which was a lovely gesture.
Always great service and the best ambience :)
Delicious delicious delicious. It did not disappoint
Everything about our lunch was perfect except the very end when the bill was bring paid. Petite blond waitress was particularly miserable and very dismissive when attempting to split the bill. Left us feeling disappointed with the service.
Lovely staff and excellent food I had a lovely time with my friends.
Great food and service, would highly recommend. A bit of a splurge, but worth it!
Every thing was just how it should be. Enjoyed the pre theatre menu. Service was excellent. Would go again.
Food was fabulous !
Traveling from the states and missing American food
This was a perfect choice
Great brioche French toast and eggs, slowish service but worth it! Would return & recommend!
I had booked a table for Mother's Day. We were at a table that looked like it had been cramped in, people were bustling past us the whole time which was not enjoyable or relaxing.
The menu attracted me and the food tasted good, but everything was lukewarm, even my coffee.
It was quite loud, a lot of children. High chairs at tables nearby felt cheap.
The service was not bad but it wasn't good either. The ladies that greeted us upon arrival were smiling and cheerful. The waiter seemed disinterested and charged us for an item we did not order. We mentioned we did not order it and it was removed from the bill.
Disappointing. Won't be returning.
I booked Christopher's for my partner and I as it was her birthday and we were in the city for the afternoon. The restaurant had some very good online reviews and we were keen to see for ourselves. I can describe Christopher's as nothing short of fantastic! The staff were incredibly attentive, the cocktails superb and the food was amazing! We will definitely be visiting again.
Such a lovely restaurant and with impeccable food, welcoming and professional staff with still a humble approach. I will continue to visit with my friends and family x
Not sure what has happened to Christopher’s. We have been going there for many years for birthdays, Christmas etc, and it always felt a little bit special.
Went last night for my best friend’s birthday and we were all so disappointed.
It has lost that feeling of being a little bit special, and is now very ordinary.
Service was average, and no complimentary bread and butter any more. Food was nice, but the whole ambience has changed almost beyond recognition.
Maybe they were having a bad day at the office, but this establishment has now been removed from our list of regulars. Shall not be going back there any time soon. Such a shame!
Beautiful food, slightly too expensive alcohol. The bottle of Prosecco was £46, which was far too expensive. Everything else was fab.
Excellent for lunch Food was very good ambiance quiet and elegant I am a regular and I have never had a bad experience
Always superb food and a good choice of cocktails.
Lovely venue, excellent food, attentive service. We went for a pre-theater dinner and had a wonderful time.
This remains one of my favourite restaurants in London. The food is consistently good and service is faultless.
Service and atmosphere was fantastic. Food was good. Everything else was great.
We visited this restaurant on Sunday 26/3. The person that greeted us at the reception was very nice and smiley. She took us to the restaurant where we were greeted by a waitress who was also nice and smiley. Although the environment was nice and relaxing the food wasn’t anything special and I think it’s overpriced for what it is, so I am disappointed. I ordered scallops as a starter and this dish was very nice. But the main course - lobster with side salad wasn’t anything special. The salad seemed like a ready made salad with a bit of olive oil and avocado. Also, the lobster wasn’t that tasty in comparison with other similar dishes I’ve had elsewhere. My husband ordered steak which was very nice but the creamy sauce it came with wasn’t anything special and the restaurant didn’t have a variety of sauces. Overall, nice restaurant and good location but the food is expensive for what it is. I wouldn’t go back
Great for brunch, casual smart and relaxed atmosphere.
Very disappointed as had read some very good reviews. We ordered the buckwheat pancakes which were dense, heavy, lacked any flavour , and it came with a teaspoon sized portion of ice cream.... which cost a further two pounds! Poor value for money, staff were friendly but the Restaurant was very busy with a high turnover of tables, so felt rushed and unrelaxed. I’m afraid to say I will not be going back.
A great meal in a great location. Food and drinks were amazing, the only negative was our wine arrived before our aperitifs!
My partners birthday.
Went to Christopher's with my husband and parents before going to see the Lion King across the road at the theatre. The ambience is grand but really cozy. The food was really good and the service was quick and responsive. My husband and I will definitely be going back.
Very Expensive and only average very good location but will not return
We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Christopher's. We had a 6:15 p.m. reservation. We arrived at 6:05 and our table was ready. The decor was tasteful and the restrooms were impeccable. We ordered our food and received it in under 15 minutes--one entree was a steak. They even presented my husband with a complimentary dessert! Everything was expertly seasoned, prepared and presented. We highly recommend Christopher's and plan to return.
Amazing restaurant with beautiful food and cocktails. We visited most recently for brunch and as usual had the nicest time. Yes there is the usual time allowance and our table was slightly delayed, aside from that everything was absolutely perfect and I will continue to comes back and recommend to anyone wanting the most incredible french toast and cocktails !
As always Christopher’s was a great experience from the doorman and the reception to the waiting staff. The food was exceptional as always. The atmosphere is understated elegance. Have celebrated a lot of family events at Christopher’s and will continue as long as the level of service stays so high.
Great menu but poor execution. Food was well presented but too much going on in terms of flavours. Tuna tartare was below average. Dessert was at a price I’d expect more refinement almost appeared to have been bought elsewhere & defrosted after goodness know la how many days.
