   Poor service, average food, cold spinach purée served as a side dish, no spoon. Bill for 2 courses one bottle of wine and one vodka £176. Would not go again.

   The dining room at Christopher’s is beautiful .. however the service is slow .. we had W.. burger which at £24 was expensive but tasted great one of us had salmon on lentils not so great .. coffee average .. £124 for 3 people for lunch no alcohol no starters no dessert sides just green salad and fries .. 2 bottles of sparking water.. I think it’s overpriced have eaten there a few years ago for dinner had a better experience but if they want to charge these prices the staff need to up the service “ smiles” or maybe the employee doesn’t make them want to smile .. it’s a great location especially if people coming from south of river and outside London ..

   Having visited Christophers annually, we were looking forward to our midweek visit rather than a weekend. A warm welcome greeted us at the door & once shown to table noticed how gloomy the decor was, deep Grey & industrial looking light fittings. There were 4 other occupied tables, only 1 waiter. We sat for over 10 mins without any service being offered ie drinks, menu, or any sort of attention at all, (it wasn't busy) resulting in requesting attention ourselves. Meals were well cooked & tasty as was wine. Service in this restaurant is poor, the decor is dismal. Only sign Xmas is approaching in the actual restaurant was minimal, disappointing. No ambience at all. Menu has shrunk & variety is limited. Christophers is surrounded by a vast array of restaurants; the reason we returned was dashed for all the reasons given. Maybe try one of those restaurants in & around where the service/choice & ambience are on a different level.

   Very slow service (15 minutes before we ended up having to ask if we could order some drinks...) and steak was on our table for a good 5 minutes before the fries arrived. Had to specifically ask for a wine list. Starters were very good (tacos - x2 chicken and x1 prawn) but 2 steaks ordered medium rare and were medium/well done

   Excellent food, but service was disappointing. The process of seating diners, and paying the bill, was particularly slow; there was a bottleneck at the top of the stairs.

   Food was amazing, when asked for the bill they told us it was cash only, which was frustrating as they hadn't mentioned this on our way in and previously we've paid with card. That was the annoying part but love this place

    First time going to Christopher’s, the service was very poor. From being seated we was offered still or sparking water but that didn’t arrive, we ordered starters “jerk chicken tacos” that was cold and I asked them was this meant to be cold or hot they said they will ask the chef they then came back with the same one and straight after another portion that was warm, going onto the mains the chicken dish was extremely cold and we told the waiter to feel the chicken how cold it was. I then asked for the manager and told him the situation he was very kind and apologetic. On this case I don’t think I would come again but this might be a one off. Thanks again to the manager that sorted it out for us in the end

    Had a great time as usual. Group of 5 we were having an early xmas meal. Venue was decorated really festive. Food was as tasty staff were attentive. Great experience!

    Upon entering there was a lady on the phone and we were waiting to get seated for at least 10 minutes. Finally another lady came over and indicated that our table is running about 20 minutes late due to a payment issue. We went to the bar and started with a drink, and then decided to stay in the bar area for the Thanksgiving dinner. The food arrived and it was lackluster -- as an American who has experienced proper Thanksgiving dinner - this did not hold a candle, and was exorbitantly priced after paying nearly 280 gbp deposit. There was also a mystery turkey sausage in my thanksgiving meal which was not part of the menu (?) or not described.

    Visiting on our Thanksgiving holiday with my family and we had the three course Turkey dinner. Everything was amazing, we all believe it was the best turkey we have ever had.

    It took more than 15 minutes for us to get service as other table got their service in 5 minutes. My fish came skin-side up as other table received her fish meat up on her plate. I felt the staff purposely ignored us because I was the only Asian. Water was never filled in the beginning and never refilled ever. The worst service ever I received.

    Amazing staff! As a vegan, I could find a few things, the coconut sorbet being my favourite! There could definitely be more vegan options though. The food is quite pricey for what it is, but the ambience is very nice, I would say it’s worth it for the nice experience!

    Food was good - service was not (mains and side arrived ages apart - and the cutlery took even longer). The manager however sorted it all out once he was alerted and gave me my (long waited for) glass of wine on the house. Buzzy, fun atmosphere.

    Had a fab lunch on Friday, the food and presentation was excellent as was the service. There was no rush to leave the table, everything was perfect. I had the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce, it was just delicious!

    Haven't eaten here in several years, but it is still as good as we remember. Enjoyable meal and the service was great, a little slow to take our dessert order, had to catch someone's eye, but to be fair they did have a large table to deal with at the same time.

    I went with my son who has multiple food allergies. The manager took his order and was very thorough. The food was delicious and even better knowing my son was looked after and loved his food too. He was even able to enjoy a dessert which is a rarity for him in most places. Would highly recommend and you have to go just for the brioche French toast it’s unbelievable

    French toasts were very good but when you spend £49.50 for two french toasts, an espresso and an orange juice you start asking yourself if it's really worth it (maybe once in a lifetime but no more). It was 12 degrees outside, yet the air-con kept blowing freezing air inside... not the best feeling while sitting at the window table by the vent (the waiter had to place drink menus on it which kept being blown away... that's how strong it was). Service was not the best. Waiters seemed all very hasty like they would have loved to turn over our table asap for new customers. Good but not great.

    The only thing I didn't is the onion rings that were very thin and oily; it was taken off the bill. Nice ambience, but the tables are quite close and so it can get busy. I wouldn't say I liked that people could hear our conversation - that's how close we were seated.
