Such lovely staff, very friendly and accommodating. Will deffo come again.
Great food, good service. Our waiter was amazing. There was a group of 5 of us that went for brunch. It was quite busy so service was quite slow, but understandable in this climate. I would definitely return again. Food and cocktails were lovely!
Having enjoyed Christopher's for many years, on this occasion it was the poorest service received from the restaurant. I booked a table for my wife's birthday, expecting the usual birthday experience (note to restaurant sent beforehand).
The waiters, even after I reminded whilst present miserably failed to understand. I have never received such poor service and understanding leading me to walk out extremely disappointed.
On a side note, the food itself was not bad however not the usual standard one expects from Christophers.
10/10 service & food
Staff very polite and down to earth. We really enjoyed the food
Nice nice brunch/bday setting. The food was good also.
Incredible food and atmosphere. Definitely will return
I went for the French toast, which was delicious. But the front of house staff were extremely rude. They were disinterested and completely ruined the experience. Not what I expect given the premium prices. Avoid.
Great place for brunch. I came for my birthday and had french toast with dark chocolate it was the best I’ve ever had. My sister and friend had lobster dumplings and they tasted so good. They also did a quality pornstar martini. The only thing was I didn’t get a sparkling candle as I saw many other tables but this could of been because my birthday wasn’t mentioned on the booking. I would recommend.
Great service and nice staff, i would recommend to anyone who hasn't been before.
Food was decent, worth the money. They could have turned the music up abit more as it was completely silent in the room most of the time.
Staff were unwelcoming throughout stay. Food was subpar.
The bar downstairs is much nicer. The area for dining wasn’t what I was expected neither was the service. I’ll stick to drinks and dessert downstairs
I went for dinner for the first time and and didn’t realise that there is a main dining room and a room at the side. We were put in the room at the side. The main dining room is beautiful and has an atmosphere our room was the opposite. We could see tables in the main dining room the entirety of our night and were told that room was fully booked. When I asked if we could move a member of staff had an attitude and was quite rude. Throughout our meal it was almost impossible to get any staff attention as they’re all busy entertaining in the main dining room and completely neglected us. It’s just not value to be paying the same prices and receiving a completely different service. I had to get up and get someone from the other room to ask for something. We even had to ask them to clean the table as they bought our desserts whilst chips were still on the table. The French toast was incredible best French toast I’ve ever had and definitely one of the best desserts, despite my bad experience I’m coming back just for that. My wagu beef burger I asked for medium and it came well done which spoiled it and I didn’t want to come across as a complainer so didn’t mention it as they seemed to already have a bit of a problem with us for asking to go in the other room. It was quite disappointed if I’m honest which was a real shame really put a damper on our evening
First visit for dinner here, really good cocktails in the bar followed by an excellent meal.
All the food was amazing and the staff were attentive and polite while sticking to social distancing.
Will definitely return
Food was lovely but the dessert was overcooked. Drinks and burgers were nice. Such a shame that the steaks are no longer halal. It was the main reason we were frequent diners here. Also we miss the superfood salad.
The best chocolate french toast I’ve ever had!
I went for my birthday and I was met with sparklers for my french toast! I loved the whole experience, the ambience and the food. Great for brunch and catch up!
We ordered wagyu burger & chips, the burger was delicious & worth the money but we had to buy chips separate, which were 5.50£ but they were definitely not worth it. Very small bowl, chips were cold, and they were very cheap chips, not ones you’d expect in a fancy restaurant.
Great service and food, drinks are a little pricey but also good.
Loved the view.
A bit disappointed that the avocado has coriander in it and I have an allergy, surely the chef could just have cut up avocado slices for me? Instead I had to get the truffle scrambled egg which was nice but just very over priced for what I wanted.
Food was good, but not wow. However I did enjoy my time their and it was nice to be out after Covid closures. So well done to Christopher's for opening !
From start to finish amazing service and the food waas delicious especially the crab cake which i would highly recommend
Very posh restaurant with wonderful food. Had a really good experience
Nice cocktails and french toast, spent a couple of hours relaxing and catching up
Great food and location however let down by the service. Found the staff quite pushy and unhelpful.
Whatever you do, get the brioche french toast. The staff are amazing, thoughtful and attentive. The restaurant adhere to covid 19 regulations without making you feel that we are going through a horrific ordeal. Great escape. Highly recommend !
Even with the subtle social distancing measures in place still our favourite place to enjoy great food and cocktails.
Food is good value cocktails are tremendous! I’d recommend Christopher’s to friends and family.
Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, happy and kind staff. Everything is just perfect, hence why I come here every weekend and never get tired of it.
Lovely! Great food, great service, would 10/10 recommend. Looking forward to coming back for more delicious pancakes and waffles!
We come here often and as usual everything was fantastic!
This restaurant was amazing and I would definitely recommend it for brunch dates and intimate celebrations!
The french toast is just YUM! So indulgent. Third time here and the service is always fantastic.
So good to be back out eating in a restaurant. All precautions were taken , felt very safe and staff were brilliniant
Very good blackened Salmon, bread and olives. My husbands lamb good. Truffle chips not great.
My prosecco came about 10 mins before my husband got his martini. Why not serve at the same time?
Friendly staff and nice room.
Great food with great service. I will definitely be revisiting.
Amazing food as always! Order the chocolate French toast no matter how full you are you won’t be disappointed!
Our first going out evening since the lockdown. Beautiful Thank you
Both ordered cocktails - one arrived on its own which was strange. We waited & asked for some bread. Still no second cocktail. Then suddenly the starter arrived with the cocktails & bread & wine we'd ordered for the meal. Surely drinks can arrive together with a pause before the starter? Food was ok but not good - chips were greasy & not crispy & lukewarm. Fish was fine. Ceasar's salad very uninspiring - you'd do much better making it at home.
All in all - service was poor (not because the waiting staff weren't lovely but because they didn't seem to know the basics), food was pretty indifferent & certainly not worth the price.
