Please tell loud russian customers to kindly respect others’ peace and quiet
Make sure you like your dinner guests before going because there is very little going on to distract you from their presence. Really cute interior though and good location.
Great little restaurant. One huge and fatal flaw. The kitchen extractor fan is extraordinarily loud and annoying. Ruins the whole dining experience. Will never return.
Lots of to’ing, fro’ing, asking for missing things, sending undercooked things back, awaiting things while other things went cold. Bizarre. Not least because it was super empty so they weren’t exactly rushed off their feet. Then they tried to charge us a cover charge for things like bread we neither asked for nor ate.
Solid food / great service but totally the wrong price
Good place for breakfast and amazing hot chocolate or coffee.
We enjoyed the food and the service but it was so small you could barely move. The toilet wasn’t great and the bill was more than it should have bern
Everything was good but the first waiter we had was pretty aloof otherwise everyone was very nice and once his shift ended a lady took over and she was very nice and helpful
£29 for admittedly a large plate of very al dente risotto that came with a scrawny, largely inedible langoustine as garnish. Not good. Chicken milanese was dry and over salted. Side salad was an abomination, for £5 I expect more. The lobster pasta was better but the bisque was far too salty. The lamb was ok but again not worth the money. The wine was good. Table charges and service charge seem excessive for such a tiny restaurant although the waitress was accommodating. The menu entices with favourites and staples but the reality is very underwhelming. This place is asking prices to match Mayfair rents but without offering the exceptional quality typically associated with such a location. I shall not be returning.
Very good food, everything we ordered was excellent
The service in Mayfair is really poor. The waiters have no clue what they're doing, especially the young Italian guys. The branch in Notting Hill is much better! Go to that one instead
Overpriced, food was average.
Everything was beautiful
Booked through OpenTable. Reconfirmed beforehand (a day before, I think). When I arrived, they said they didn't have my booking. Not a nice first impression on a business meeting. We just sat anywhere (plenty of free tables at 3pm, so no problem). Otherwise, nothing out of the ordinary. Had coffee which was ok. Given complimentary something with thw coffee, but it was all melted so we didn't attempt to try it. Could have just been the weather melting it. Overall, it was ok.
Very charming and elegant small Italian bistro in Mayfair. Good place for pasta or a hamburger. Service is excellent. Great spot for a weekend lunch. Highly recommend.
5* - The best cacio e pepe in Mayfair.
Thanks again Lucio, always very good to us.
