   We had a fantastic team dinner last night from start to finish! Very cool and hip spot with tons of great food. A couple of the highlights were the meat and cheese board and the tilefish.

   Very disappointing. Cesaer salad nothing special. Jerk octopus overcooked and not flavorful. Server nice bt service slow despite a late reservations and the dining room pretty empty. Not a good dining experience.

   Everything was amazing!! The service, the food and the vibe. All of the food was delicious but this were some of the best grits I’ve ever had! Was visiting from Tampa and will definitely go back next time I’m in Charlotte!!

   We celebrated a party of 10 for a marriage retreat for Sunday brunch and our servers Adrien and John were awesome! We loved the food, presentation, service and ambiance and will definitely be back!

   Food was out of this world. The wine list is extensive and not too pricey. Ambiance was excellent and unrushed service. The only negative was a slightly too cold AC vent above our table

    The food was wonderful. Our server was great. What turned us off was they had someone walk on the bar lighting candles in the windows. They never cleaned off the bar after this person walked on it. No. Not right.

    I've been several times and never disappointed. My server this time was Ibraham...my friends and I enjoyed him. Personable and professional. Even vale was great. Always a 5 star experience for me!

    We had reservations at 6:30. Didn't get seated until 6:45 pm. Hostess wasn't very friendly. Restaurant was loud and smelled a little strange. But the Food was INCREDIBLE!

    Food was generous portions, especially for fixed price restaurant week. Artic char was delicious with a light cream sauce and there were two portions, more than I could possibly eat, so I took home the rest. The dessert, a pack Panna cotta was light and lovely. Wines by the glass were limited to two or so in each variety. The server was attentive but seemed annoyed when I said the salt shaker was empty. She didn't smile or act warmly until the end of the meal. I felt uncomfortable about that. Otherwise a beautiful place and meal.

    Went for restaurant week, everything was amazing! The chicken karaage app was so tasty! For entree, I had the filet and my boyfriend had the fish, both were cooked perfectly! The chocolate milk bar dessert and the lemon poppyseed cake were both out of this world! Service was great too! Definitely a must try

    Food was great, restaurant week offerings were generous and a good mix of choices. Waiter was very attentive and presented great customer service. AC was a little windy, but otherwise a great dining experience.

    Great ambiance, great service, food was presented well, but for taste it was only okay. I wouldn't order anything I tried again. A bit overpriced in my opinion. None of the restaurant week entrees were vegetarian or pescatarian

    I hosted a large group of (12) ladies for breakfast as part of a bridal shower weekend for a close friend. Upon entry, they loved the ambiance. We were seated promptly and greeted by Emmanuel who provided impeccable service and made our experience absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing and Emmanuel was attentive, courteous and made recommendations that were on point!

    The service is CONSISTENTLY awful but the food is very delicious. I particularly enjoy the Arctic Char, the Fried Chicken Biscuit at brunch, and the Chicken Karaage. For dessert, the CU Milk Bar is LIFE. But back to the bad. As I said, the service I receive here is regularly trash. Like hot garbage. I don’t mind if my table isn’t ready when I arrive. Some guests over stay their welcome and it’s hard to turn the tables over as quickly as they would like. That’s fine. I don’t mind if my drinks or food take a while. The kitchen staff and bartenders get slammed and a lot of restaurants are understaffed right now so I understand if I have to wait. What I do not like is being ignored for thirty minutes even though I’m sitting right in front of three servers at the bar. Just. Communicate. It is not that hard. I had literally been seated for thirty minutes while these servers refused to make eye contact. I finally got some water and a coffee and then it was another good long while before anyone could be bothered to see if we wanted to order food despite me trying, quite obviously, to get someone’s attention. The very least you can do is acknowledge that someone is in need of service, take the order, and let me know if it will be a while. The up side is that there are two tip lines, one for the wait staff and one for the kitchen. The kitchen earned their tip. The wait staff did not. So while I still tipped 20%, the majority of that went to the kitchen. If waiters at this establishment complain about not being tipped well, take it with a grain of salt cause there is a reason for it.
