Chutney’s Restaurant is a stronghold for Indian cuisine in southwest London’s Wimbledon. This Hartfield Road restaurant has been going strong and spicy for over twenty years. Needless to say, it’s a favourite among locals and a place where experience is evident in the quality of the dishes on offer. Specialties like Galinha Xacutti, Chicken Rajeshwari and the award winning Shahi Jinga are default orders among those who’ve been frequenting this Indian restaurant over the years – if you’re new to Chutney’s, these dishes come mightily recommended.
Whether you are a die-hard fan of Indian cuisine, taking your first step into the fiery pleasure of authentic curry, or have specific dietary requirements, Chutney’s can take care of you. Diners are encouraged to customise the menu, requesting the chefs to lay on the heat, hold off a little, or try something new. With gluten-free and vegan-friendly options available on request, Chutney’s Hartfield Road premises is truly universal.

As always, an excellent meal and great service. This continues to be our 6 year old's favourite restaurant and the 2 year old also found plenty he liked (as of course did the adults!)

Quiet lunch, enjoyed the starters Meat samosas and Cupri were tasty. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Prawn, lamb curries and mixed variety briyani was lovely. Would recommend to friends in the future.

Another great meal at Chutneys! Went with a group of 6 and the staff were very prompt with getting our orders for starters and drinks, and the mains arrived without too much delay when we ordered. The food was great, as always. The Tandoori mixed grill was a triumph. If you're looking for a great place to go for a curry in Wimbledon then Chutneys always is a good shout.

As always, we had a lovely meal at Chutneys - a great way to share food with visiting family. The food was delicious and varied, the service friendly and the cost very reasonable.

Our reception was very low-key and the service was no more than adequate. The food was Ok but unexceptional.

As always, a lovely family meal at Chutneys. The staff are really friendly and the food is excellent. The restaurant our 4 year old always chooses when given the chance!

Arrived on time, but they had no record of my booking, not a great start!

Service excellent, most of the food good, some quite average.

Big dissapointment.
They had no idea we booked a table. The welcome was non existent. The service was probably the worst I've experieced anywhere. The food was mediocre to say the least. And it was over priced.. in fact the best service we got was when the bill was asked for... avoid this place..

Some Indian Restaurants are serving food that's not much different from takeaway food. This, however, is way better! We had starters, and then mains from the House Specials, and both courses were excellent - delicious, different, good sizes, and well-presented.

Bland food! The food had no flavour and the chicken was rubbery. Will not be going back. Shame as it used to be nice :0(

The food at Chutneys was absolutely delicious and had real flavour. This was our first visit as it was recommended by friends and we should definitely like to go back again.
My husband and I were very impressed. The portions were very generous and not stinted on the meat front but husband would have been even happier to have more rice- he is a BIG rice eater!
