Good food quickly delivered in a fantastic buzzy atmosphere- we loved it !
Food was good but not much of it and expensive. The tiramisu was fabulous
Lovely food although the menu has changed a little and they don’t have baked avocado now 😞
Nice in every regard
This was our first visit here, the restaurant was exceptionally busy. There was a slight delay in getting our table but the staff were very polite and communicated everything to us so we’re always fully aware of the situation.
Once seated everything exceeded expectation
Great food, good atmosphere and excellent service. Plus the lighting, colour and arrangement of the shop front is wonderful and a great place to grab a quick photo before your meal!
Excellent, buzzy and consistent, never fails to amaze me,the freshness of all the food
Love it here, keep going back again and again to try everything on the menu!
Food was fabulous as well as the ambiance.
But we had to remind the waiter of our order ( wine) as well as receiving gnocchi which we did not order at all.
Great food. Some of the best I’ve ever had.
Food was excellent, however the waiters were a bit careless and we had to order for a few times.
We had a friend visiting from New York and can always count on Cicchetti for excellent food and an amazing selection to please everyone.
We had the Trufflr ravioli. The black ravioli, fried zucchini, truffle patatino, and the salted Black Sea bass which was exceptional and the pumpkin risotto. For desert we shared the panda cotta and the tiramisu. It was an wonderful dinner in a relaxing surrounding that let us catch up after a very long time. All accompanied by a 2016 Rossi Di Montalcino
Service was excellent and we were well looked after. One of our favourite restaurants!
I love Cichetti’s but this time the service fell below the usual standard.
My son who has allergies was treated like he was a complete pain and the waiter was huffing and puffing and due to the language barrier was hard to communicate. It was felt it was all our fault for making a fuss just because we wanted to check food was safe. The eyes rolled more than once. Then they also missed off the chips and got another friend’s order wrong. It was like they decide to write us off after that and we’re not interested in providing any service. We were pleasant and engaging but did not get that back. Plus who these days with the rise of allergies cooks ALL their food in the same friers. It was a shame as usually so friendly and the quality of the food is good but they wiped their hands of us for having the temerity to have allergies!!!
So was not a nice experience at all.
Don’t go unless you can eat everything!!
Fabulous meal, great atmosphere and fantastic staff.
Delicious food and excellent service. Beautiful decor
Lovely setting. Pleasant staff. Extensive menu and delicious food.
Was slightly cold sat by the door but food was good and service was attentive. Portion size is good too!
Very busy restaurant. Very noisy. Tables are too close to each other. We were told by the waiter that they operate a tapas style service. Food will be brought out whenever they are ready. You are also encourage to share your dishes, not good if you are used to having starter, main and deserts. Portions are small so a tapas style does not justify the price.
Very good food and service but too loud to have a decent conversation
Fabulous as always
Really quite impressed with this restaurant. The concept is a little unusual for an Italian eatery (everything arrives whenever it is ready and you are encouraged to share) but it works because the food is both very good and reasonably priced (considering the location).
It’s lively, noisy and a bit tight, so perhaps not the spot for a romantic date or a discreet business conversation, but definitely a fun and authentic atmosphere.
Service was both attentive and quick and the wine list had plenty of options at different price points.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back myself.
Noise level almost unbearable. Could not hold a conversation. Waiter had never heard of Campari. Had to tell him to check with the bar. Food acceptable but no more. Would not come back.
Very authentic Italian cuisine. While good quality is superb, dish portion tends to be small.
Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Definitely would go back for another occasion
Foods a bit salty and some not good presentation. portions can be a little bit more generous
Delayed service, huge space but overstuffed with close tables which makes the atmosphere very hectic
Friendly staff and a lovely variety to select from on the menu for a fraction of the price of other Italian restaurants in London.
One very loud table disrupted restaraunt for all - but despite that staff were amazing as ever and food was to die for.
Amazing long lunch and so warm and welcoming
A great night had celebrating our wedding anniversary!!
A lovely place. Good food, good service. The downside side: too crowdy, tables are too close to each other and too noisy. Don't bring a date here during peak time, otherwise you will be yelling at each other.
Excellent meal pre-theatre. We asked the waiter which dishes to avoid as we were seeing a show and he pointed out which ones would take longer - everything else came within 20-30mins. We ordered 7 dishes for 3 people which was perfect. The food was delicious and we will be coming back when we don't have a time limit!
Food and service was amazing!
Nice food enjoyed the privacy with the COVID screens which need to remain till this pandemic passes. Will go again
Excellent restaurant with great food and very friendly staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming plus a range of interesting dishes to share.
Every single dish that we ordered tasted amazing. Cicchetti serves tapas style food and so you're able to taste a few dishes each time you visit. We ordered 5 dishes between 3 people and 3 of those had truffle flavorings - which were insanely good! 100% would go back and recommend to friends!
Might seem expensive due to the size of the plates (think Small tapas) but the quality of the products is higher than in most places, so if you are looking for quality food rather than quantity, this is the place to go.
First, let’s start with the good bits : the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Decor and atmosphere was nice too. The food and the little piece of cheese cake in the end was a nice gesture (birthday desert on the house), although the cake could have been cut a bit more presentable, if I can even rate a freebie? Haha. It looked like it was scooped out of a tray very quickly, which made it look less presentable.
The table setting was a bit unorganised (cutlery was just placed randomly on table instead on the napkin). The table set up could use some improvements and I’d like to see better quality napkins for the price you pay. The service was a bit slow as we felt it took a while to get the staff’s attention even after the restaurant became a bit quieter. Overall, I’d come back, but not for a special occasion - perhaps for a friendly catch-up instead :)
Beautiful interior, faultless and charming service and outstanding food. Can't wait to return.
The service was good, the ambience really nice, the portions are TINY. If I had known the Lobster ravioli meant 5 ravioli’s for £15, I probably wouldn’t have (especially gone) there to eat, however if you want some (very small pizza) - its an ok place to eat: I enjoyed it more for the ambience than the food to be honest!
Lovely little restaurant, fantastic atmosphere, and delicious small plates. Wait staff were helpful and fun, smashing cocktails also. Will return.
