I'm so glad Cicchetti survived the lockdown! They have an amazing food, and the quality is still outstanding! The service is always super friendly. We absolutely love this place - we always go there before theatre.
Had table for 4 in centre of restaurant. Excellent food. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially after lockdown. Pre-booked through OpenTable. Worked a dream.
Excellent food and quick service
Really great food and lovely restaurant vibe. Cocktails were tasty also
It was delicious!
Amazing food, lovely wine, brilliant service. Definitely planning to revisit soon!
Date with my daughter! Squeezing it in before lockdown. The San Carlo never disappoint.
Absolutely fantastic food ambience and service.
This is my go to restaurant when visiting the RA. It has a lovely ambience and I think they've done really well with isolating the tables without losing the ambience. The food is glorious and I always over-order and yet still end up with clean plates. Will be back soon.
Food great, service friendly and very fast.
The gentleman at reception/entrance to the restaurant however, could do with being more welcoming and less arrogant.
We had made our booking via OpenTable about 20 mins before, and as he couldn't find it immediately, he gave us sneering looks and made us feel unwelcome (as if I actually had no booking). And there were plenty of empty tables.
It's the kind of attitude that can make or break a good restaurant - and in current times, with the hospitality sector suffering so much under the pandemic, I'd really think twice and welcome every customer as kindly as you can. You need us!
Unpretentious but formal enough. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed but special dinner. Staff are great fun. Best to go in a group. Small plates means sharing and trying many things on their amazing menu.
Excellent service and super food. Friendly and efficient staff .
A couple of things didn’t make my experience as good as it could have been. Firstly our waiter was lacking in customer care. Firstly when I asked for a red wine he went for one of the most expensive one (£84) and not offered any alternative. Very dry when attending to us to the point of feeling uncomfortable. Having tried some plates as we were informed of the type of meal was a tapas we asked for an extra one as we were still hungry. Again the same waiter came and in a not so nice way said kitchen was closing (9:00) and had to be last orders.
With regards to food it was nice. The specialty Ravioli were incredible. Unfortunately the pasta with baby clams had loads of small bits of broken shell which could have been disastrous if I hadn’t realised and may have broken a tooth.
Finally the optional service charge (12.5%) which is included in the bill (I now wonder why our waiter went for a £84 bottle of wine). I asked for it to be removed as I was going to pay what I felt was right as if I had bottled water instead of wine the percentage would be a lot lower and the same work would have been asked from our waiter (open a bottle and place on the table). Our waiter when I asked for the service charge to be removed he made a grunt of disapproval. This was the final straw so I left without leave a tip, although I feel for the kitchen staff who barring the broken shells made really nice food.
Lovely food, great ambience and good service - thoroughly enjoyed our visit
Excellent choice of small plate dishes, served with a smile (at least I think they were smiling beneath their masks!)
Average overpriced restaurant. In such prime location you would expect more. Staff, place and food would hVe not convinced me to go back again.
Really rude staff. Had a really bad experience with the staff. Food not worth the price as it’s not that nice.
The food is amazing!
As wonderful as ever.
The portions were really small for the price which meant we were still hungry. They put a lot of pressure on us to leave the table and hurry up to leave by taking our food even when we weren’t finished and bringing the bill quickly, if we’re paying 80£ we should at least be able to enjoy our food.
As usual the lunch was great. Service was good and they’ve done a great job with social distancing without too much impact on the ambience. Glass screens between the tables work really well.
All of the dishes were very tasty and their pistachio cake is sublime!
Food was cold and rushed. Service was shocking as they wanted us out ASAP! We had our meal served within 45 minutes of being on the restaurant, which was warm not hot and then the waiters tried to pour so much wine in our glass, they topped it almost twice before we had taken a sip to which we asked them to leave us
Was rather busy on the night we went (also it was a Friday). We felt rushed regarding service even though we were only there for 1.5hrs I think in total. Otherwise, things were fine.
Long standing establishment, great ambiance and atmosphere
Amazing food. Tapas style Italian food between the 2 of us we got 3 dishes which was sufficient.
The pizza was delicious. Ravioli spinach and ricotta was amazing rich tomato
Sauce with basil tasted divine. The best dish was spaghetti in creamy sauce this dish looked so simple but the taste was just finger licking.
Really nice ambiance and the staff is nice. The food is to die for!
Fantastic food, fantastic service. Defo be back 😊
The food was, and continues to be, some of the best italian food in London. The lack of aircon was pretty poor, but more than made up for by friendly, attentive staff.
So pleased to finally sample Cicchetti being such a popular venue very difficult to get a table reservation, so took advantage of the quiet period due to COVID-19.
We were not disappointed really enjoy everything on offer would most definitely come again.
Loved the food. Portions were incredibly generous. Will be going back!
Brilliant food and service
Lovely place with great food and super friendly service.
Food was amazing as usual thank you guys! We will be back
My favorite Italian in London! Very reasonable prices for the amazing quality of the food, my favorite carbonara I’ve ever had! Can not recommend enough
Delicious food, great service and super clean and well adapted to the new necessary safety precautions. Will definitely go back!
Great food, impeccable service and it felt safe to dine there.
Un restaurant Italien comme on les aime! A découvrir ou y revenir!
As always, fantastic food and service, the Safety screens Between seating even looks good and works very well. Well done and welcome back!
