Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest restaurant & cocktail bar from Vivek Singh's range of Cinnamon restaurants, situated in London’s Covent Garden.

We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.

The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, and can accommodate 12 – 30 guests in this picturesque dining room, featuring its very own private bar. It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

A great all around experience. Went for my girlfriends birthday and the look and feel of the restaurant was lovely and made us feel comfy. And the two staff there at the time were unbelievably friendly and kind, infact as we were getting ready to leave he asked me while I was alone if it was a special occasion, I told him it was my girlfriends birthday and he brought out a small cake on the house very quickly. The food was the best part, I haven’t had Indian like it, trying all the intruiging buffet food was the best it was fresh and had an amazing taste the mains were great and the desert was incredible, I had the kulfi on a stick. All in all was a great time and I would go back in a heart beat.

Very nice, modern food (a little too spicy sometimes), excellent ambience and service

Good food and good service (from the young guy working on Sunday). The menu is too confusing however — too many deals and different menu options. I'd prefer a slimmed down a la carte and set menu. We opted for the £15 2 course menu from the OpenTable deal, and the food was worth the price. However, no sides like rice or breads are served with the main course unlike the competition.

Very poor service. Average food. No kids menu. I will not go back.

Fabulous food, would definitely go back. The set menu or even better value deals after 9pm are worth it, shame they didn't apply at 8.15pm despite not being served straight away and waiting till 8.45 anyway!

Cinnamon Bazaar was one of my favourite restaurants, unfortunately no more. Somehow they managed to run out of all the wine, except for the premium stuff! As well as this, we were served raw chicken skewers. All but 1 out of 6 people were on the toilet all night. Be wary.

Fabulous food. But the manager on the day was very rude and we were asked to move to another table to accommodate another larger group arriving, which I didn't mind but the way she moved us was so rude and literally just started to move my chair while I was pretty much still sat in it! Self awareness would be great! Would expect better service from a cinnamon restaurant.

Starters were good, but portion size was small. Similarly, for the main course found the portion size really small, not value for money. In addition, we were seated on the first floor where several tables have been put together in a really small space, making the environment really cacophonous, and had to talk very loudly, not pleasant.

We wanted to do the set for 20pounds pp.
But this included only small appetizers like tapas. So in the end we ordered from a la-carte.
The set menu special is not worth it in this case. But overall the price turned out to be less than 50 even if you order from a la carte. (total # of people:2)

The snacks are too expensive for what you get. Chaats are small, but tasty. Mains (bazaar plates) were mostly good, although you should note that half are smaller than the others. One to avoid though is the paneer 65, rather than stir fried paneer it seemed to have been dehydrated in an oven after being painted red.

Arrived and was told my booking was at lunch and not 6pm. Then the offer that we booked for wasn't available. After some discussions did get the table but the offer was v.small nibbles and not quite what we wanted. Won't be going back as a result.

We started with cocktails which I think were quite expensive but very tasty with fresh mint and mango. The menu is quite hard to read and could do with more detail about what is actually in the dishes but the food is really very good indeed. The samosa was delicious with a lovely sauce and a good sized portion, I had chicken on a skewer with a salad and rice on the side again very good indeed. So it was a treat and a little bit over priced but that's the area you are in I guess.

Took the other half they asked if there was a special occasion. I told them it was her birthday and they gave us a little complimentary cake with a candle to celebrate.

Very nice of them

Highly recommend

We went for the £20pp chit chat chaat deal and I was really disappointed at the portion sizes. They were so tiny we had to order full mains from the menu and ended up having to spend way more than planned. For an evening offer it should be made clear that the food is just snacks with prosecco and not an actual meal offer. That said, the quality of the food was great and it was very tasty, the service was good and friendly and the venue was decent.

Visited with my parents and boyfriend on a Monday night. Great vibe, very buzzy with delicious food. Unfortunately the service was very slow - had to repeat drink orders and collect our own cutlery. The hot chocolate and chai were disappointing - check out somewhere nearby for sweets!

I went there for the egg curry and that did not disappoint. Some aspects which did disappoint, however:

(a) The restaurant tried to charge £3 for a bottle of still water without first disclosing the cost.
(b) Even though I asked for the non-alcoholic drinks menu, the waiter insisted on reciting the drinks from memory and missed a few - finally his colleague handed the menu.
(c) For the SECOND time in one of these Cinnamon restaurants, I asked for my drink to be served WITHOUT A STRAW and for the SECOND time the clueless waitstaff brought the drink with a straw. It is evident Cinnamon group staff need better training on listening to guests, particularly those of us who want to reduce the quantity of single use stuff destroying our environment!

I like Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen so was excited to try this baby sister restaurant of the chain.
As expected the food was great and the set menu was a great value offering when coming with group of friends you can share with.
The only fault was that we got sat on the 1st floor where only 1 staff manned the room and when the room was completely filled, she had no time to look after everyone and many of us were made to wait a long time, eventually personally go up to the counter and self-serve.

Even though we had made a reservation, the hostesses sat us upstairs that had all of four tables and was mostly empty. There wasn’t any music it was like a completely different restaurant and not what I booked for.

We know Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Soho really well. Both different experiences but great. After Soho closed we thought we'd give this a go. Hectic, poor service, some of the dishes were the usual high quality we're used to but the menu is too confused (the 'bazaar plates' section includes some tiny dishes for around £7-10 and then some really expensive ones – hardly 'sharing'plates). The room is just a busy, crammed restaurant room, no 'bazaar' vibe. The Soho one had a great feel about it even though it was still a small-ish, bustling space. If you're used to the quality and uniqueness of Cinnamon Club, just go there.

Food was really good, if a bit overpriced. Cocktails were tasty but very weak. Service was very slow - the servers were mostly clustered around the bar, chatting, while people waited for their plates or the bill.
