Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest restaurant & cocktail bar from Vivek Singh's range of Cinnamon restaurants, situated in London’s Covent Garden.

We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.

The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, and can accommodate 12 – 30 guests in this picturesque dining room, featuring its very own private bar. It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

Went there last night arriving at about 22.00. We were shown to our table and left. No menus and no sign of a waiter. Ten minutes later the waiter arrived with menus and soon took our order. Drinks arrived, closely followed by our starters. Having finished our starters we expected the plates to be cleared and the main courses to arrive but this did not happen. We waited and waited and then the waiter started getting the Bills together for the table next to us. We thought OK he will sort us out next. But no, despite seeing that we had finished our starters he went to the table the other side of us and took their order and then disappeared. We had now waited about 30 minutes so in desperation we went to the bar to ask the manager to sort it out. She personally cleared our plates (in silence) and miraculously the waiter immediately appeared with our main course. IT WAS COLD, probably from sitting on the bar for some time. When it came to time for the bill we asked for the manager only to see her leaving the restaurant !! We did get a discount on the bill and they did not add a service charge but the whole experience was appalling, especially the attitude of the manager.

Really poor quality food. Felt rushed all throughout to order even though the resturant was fairly empty. The chicken tikka came out pure white with no flavour... im indian, from my experience chicken tikka is red in colour with spices!!!! The tandoori prawns i was expecting to be spicy but they were served with a mild coconut gravy (minimal) and this was meant to be a curry so i asked for more sauce ..before tasting the sauce expecting it to be spicy not sweet!!!!

Service was slow and sloppy. Starters undercooked and mains served haphazardly.

Went with my missus and little one, we went for the afternoon tea, the chaat starters and desert were excellent, as was the kiddies meal. The main which was some sort of sandwich, mini burger wasn’t great, taste wasn’t great and portion size quite small. Service was excellent though

Our reservation was for 1pm and we arrived early. We were seated straight away, which was good. The lunch special menu is pretty limited but the chicken dish was very tasty and the portion size were fine. The evening menu is definitely better but I would recommend going during the day with kids.

If you like great food served in a friendly casual atmosphere then try Cinnamon Bazaar.
I recommend the chicken biriyani, aloo chat and the shepherds pie.
The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and is great for casual dining with friends and loved ones.
This is my new favourite restaurant in Covent Garden !!

Beautiful dining area that matched the beautiful food served to the table. We went off the evening set menu of 3 courses and a Cinnamon Bellini each.

Service was initially pretty-poor (forgot starter) however they made up for it by offering us extra desert, a cocktail and money off the bill.

The food was really wonderful and the service absolutely outstanding! Don’t miss the opportunity to buy a cookbook. We are so glad we happened to see a small stack of them which prompted us to ask.

Pretty good overall.
Good attentive service, tasty food (although chicken was slightly dry). Tables very close together : you feel almost compelled to make conversation with adjoining tables. But overall it was a good experience.

Really attentive and helpful staff. Every dish was standout. Reasonably priced, but would start to get pricey of you hit the cocktails. Ambience was subdued on our visit (7pm Sunday) but that was possibly due to the fabulous weather.

There is a misleading and confusing menu offering £32 each for a starter, main and pudding but the side dishes (potatoe, naam) are extra though listed on the deal. Despite being clear with the waitress at the start of what we wanted we were still charged extra for the starters....though only agreed to pay for what we agreed in the beginning. Manager NOT customer friendly and defensive....food was great though....just be on your guard!

First time here, saw some slightly mixed views but we all loved it. Not your traditional Indian and all the better for it, food was excellent. Service relaxed but no problem, staff very nice, super helpful making a fuss of our birthday boy at literally no notice. Definitely going back.

Although the restaurant is pretty and the waiter staff were friendly, the manager made us feel uncomfortable for wanting to sit side by side on a table instead of opposite eachother even though the whole restaurant was empty at the time, bar one table. I can understand this if it was busy, however it wasn’t for the duration of our time there. The food was delicious but portion sizes were small and therefore not the best value for money.

Got there at 10pm and there was hardly anyone in there. They seemed pretty keen to get rid of us. So why take our booking if that’s going to be your attitude? Service was very average and the cocktails were awful! Had to send them back. How can you mess up a G&T so badly? Food was decent but not amazing.

A great Indian restaurant. I rarely go to Indian restaurants, as I get a lot of that food at home, so when I do, I am fussy! This one I will be returning to. Lots of veggie and non veggie options.

A great all around experience. Went for my girlfriends birthday and the look and feel of the restaurant was lovely and made us feel comfy. And the two staff there at the time were unbelievably friendly and kind, infact as we were getting ready to leave he asked me while I was alone if it was a special occasion, I told him it was my girlfriends birthday and he brought out a small cake on the house very quickly. The food was the best part, I haven’t had Indian like it, trying all the intruiging buffet food was the best it was fresh and had an amazing taste the mains were great and the desert was incredible, I had the kulfi on a stick. All in all was a great time and I would go back in a heart beat.

Good food and good service (from the young guy working on Sunday). The menu is too confusing however — too many deals and different menu options. I'd prefer a slimmed down a la carte and set menu. We opted for the £15 2 course menu from the OpenTable deal, and the food was worth the price. However, no sides like rice or breads are served with the main course unlike the competition.
