Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest restaurant & cocktail bar from Vivek Singh's range of Cinnamon restaurants, situated in London’s Covent Garden.

We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.

The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, and can accommodate 12 – 30 guests in this picturesque dining room, featuring its very own private bar. It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

Private Dining

Aptly named after Delhi’s ancient spice bazaar, Khari Baoli is also known as a ‘watering hole’ due to the well from which the 17th century market first originated. Fast forward to today and it is now Asia’s largest spice market playing host to millions of charismatic traders & shoppers who gather every day, not just to exchange ingredients but to feast and swap life stories- just like they’ve done for centuries. Khari Baoli dining room & bar Situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, the picturesque dining room seats up to 30 and features its very own private bar. Available for exclusive hire for parties between 12-30 guests, it is the perfect place for anybody looking to exchange their own stories with friends over fantastic food and drink! Our delicious Vivek Singh's feasting set menus start from £35 per head and offer easily priced packages to suit your party size and budget.

The food was definitely very different to the Indians I get locally to me but it was very nice. Staff very friendly it was busy although food service was good it was hard to get extra drinks.

I would recommend people to try the Cinnamon Bazaar because the food was good. However very slow bar service let them down. Also restaurant is quite cramped and basic with noise levels a bit too high. We went on a busy Saturday night so that might explain many of my comments.

I used to love this restaurant, but my most recent brunch visit was terrible. The service staff are not attentive, we waited 45 minutes before they even came to take an order (not even a drinks order) the waiter was also unsure about allergies and only after my friend asked for the allergy grid did he consider bringing it over.

It felt like for most of the dining experience we were being ignored we constantly had to flag over staff when were done with our food or asking for the bill, it was also quite hard to grab their attention as there didn’t seem to be many staff on the floor.

The food was lovely but the service has put me off coming here again

I went for an early Friday dinner and had the theater menu (pre-6.30). This was 3 courses, a bellini and a black dhal. It was incredible value for money, and in the end we were so full that we didn't need the dessert. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. I will definitely be returning!

Amazing food, so tasty and the set menu isn't a bad price but the service wasn't great and it was quite loud. But the food is worth it 100%

The food is not authentic indian food. We were told it is indian food with a 'modern' twist after we complained about how bland and tasteless it was. Will not return.

Wonderful experience. The food was delicious and service was excellent. I’d requested a little birthday candle for my sisters birthday and we got a delicious little toffee pudding with happy birthday written on the plate. Lovely touch!

The mains were good, but the starters well very good. Wouldn't have minded ordering more starters and less mains.

Very good flavours all round.

Went on a Tuesday and it was full. Good ambiance, although sometimes you really had to speak up.

Would definitely go back.

Great service and choice of food within a set menu, which is favourably priced. A lovely bustling restaurant even on a Sunday evening

The quality of the food was not as good. Starters were very tasty but mains were a little disappointing.

Amazing food as always. However the service was a bit slow and we had to wait for a short while to be shown to our table ( after booking was a bit annoying)
Also it was quite loud- a hen do which dominate the restaurant.

They mixed up our table with the one next to ours and kept bringing us the wrong things. I thought they would have corrected this after the first two attempts (they said they would), but they didn't, so we ended up with a pork dish rather than a vegetarian one we ordered. We pointed this out but no one apologised or brought us the correct dish! Appaling service.

Amazing service, felt really welcomed. Catered to our needs and when my friend wanted to swap her drink because she didn’t like it they did it straight away no extra charge. Food was very good, lacks spices expected from what I assumed was an Indian cuisine. Generally speaking it was a great experience

The quality of the food more than matched the cost of the meal. The service was as good as could
possibly be expected in such a busy, crowded, energetic restaurant. Indeed, as we were running late,
a phone call to the restaurant reassured us that our reservation would be held and it was. For older,
more sedate people, the noise level might be a bit high, although the crowd was not entirely made up
of youngsters. The noise level did not seem to interfere with our conversation. We would certainly go again.

Food was mostly tasty and enjoyable (not so much the cocktail included in the pre-theatre menu) but the disclosure at the end of our meal that tips could only be made in cash otherwise they would ‘disappear’ left a nasty taste...

Sharing plates menu. I thought the curries were a bit bland but I’m Sri Lankan & used to a lot of chilli & spice. Crab bondas were really good. Carrot & ginger toffee pudding was good. Everything else was average I’d say.

Great fun great service and pretty good flavours but food is not value for money. We’re always happy to pay top money for good food but this is a bit costly for the „streetfood“ theme.

I dined on a sunday so the available menus were brunch and afternoon tea, unfortunately the afternoon tea doesn't have GF alternatives so I couldn't have this. From the weekend brunch menu there were only a couple of veggie GF dishes, so I ended up paying for two sides, they were very tasty but would have preferred a proper meal. Also the chai tea was not great, quite watered down. However my friends that did have the afternoon tea said it was absolutely delicious.
