We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.
The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.
Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant. There won't be any minimum spending on Private Lunch booking during January to end of November 2020 (Sunday to Friday only). Just Choose any of our private dining menu (min 20-35 guest and menu £25 to £55).
It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

Good food and ambiance, service was prompt and efficient
Lovely afternoon tea, so nice to have some masala chai - though certainly not as sweet as from a Chai Wala in India!
Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food.
We were offered a great service and staff were pleasant. Me and my husband went for afternoon tea. Masala chai was nice. The presentation of food was nice. Food is good if you like that type of food which we both did. We received a lovely surprise for booking in for an occasion. A clean, pretty looking place especially up in the ceiling. Enjoyed the experience and time there. Left as happy customers :)
Falls down one star only bc it was NOT COVID-19 secure. Initially it was when we arrived at 730 but then tables filled up and it was like pre covid again, chair touching the other table behind us. I cannot fault the waiting staff, attentive despite it being busy and allowed me to sample wine before buying a bottle. Menu was outstanding
Reminded me very much of mums home cooked prawn curry, lamb biryani was amazing. The dahl was gentle but powerfully tasty with the biryani. Colocasia 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 but worried re covid safety
The food was outstanding and the service was largely good but we were a little bit disappointed to be handed the bill immediately after dessert and told we had to leave soon as the next party for our table had arrived. I wouldn't normally mind but we weren't warned that we'd have 2 hours maximum (a 9 course sharing menu takes a while to get through) and after saying we'd be off shortly the staff proceeded to join another table to the end of ours and began setting it as we were finishing our drinks. I thought this was unnecessary as we hadn't even been there 2 hours at this point. A slight dampener on an otherwise excellent meal.
Absolutely fantastic food, reasonably priced with thoughtful, prompt and respectful staff. Our only issue was the lack of courtesy of some of the other patrons which is not the restaurant's fault. I will definitely be returning.
Very enjoyable experience. Excellent food and service
We visited for afternoon tea. Staff were very friendly and service prompt. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The restaurant observed social distancing very well. We felt very looked after. Would highly recommend.
I went to the restaurant on 13th September. I would like to commend the staff for their wonderful service. Loved the ambience and food was excellent. It was true to its heritage and flavours that I am used to eating in India.
Wonderful experience. Would definitely come back for more of yummy food.
Only improvement I would recommend is perhaps more options for vegetarians.
Good menu, excellent food and acceptable wine list. The focus is on cocktails, not many beers on the menu.
We absolutely loved the food and service. Comfortable seats.
We had the £25 “Bib-Gourmand“ 9 course menu which was out of this world and has to be the best value meal in the west end. Staff were friendly and helpful, never rushing us from our table even on a busy Saturday night. But it is this that prevents me from saying five stars across the board - social distancing was non existent with our table less than one meter from tables on either side (with no screens) making us feel very uncomfortable and a large party of 12 were also very close.
Perfect Indian afternoon tea. Food was full of flavours. Definitely recommend going lovely experience.
Amazing food. Will come back again 😋.
Really outstanding food - we had fixed dinner menu and all the dishes were superb - excellent spicing and very interesting dishes.
Absolutely lovely experience. Went for high tea and had a really peaceful experience. The food was excellent and very well presented. Really enjoyed it. Excellent service.
Amazing food, great service, will definitely recommend to others! Would be great if there some indian music/ old bollywood playing to create the atmospere even better.
Afternoon tea was very good, creative, well presented, tasty. A shame the fish finger sandwiches were out, but didn't take away from the meal and experience
Service was poor. Found our waitress quite abrupt and not forthcoming
Wonderful food at a reasonable price and good service. Highly recommended!
My partner and I came to try the 9 course tasting menu, and what a treat it was. Sumptuous, elegant and wonderful from start to finish. Many thanks to Dominik for making our visit a very welcome one. We'll be back :)
I love the food it’s tasty but doesn’t bloat you unlike other Indian restaurants! Love the chaats the most hope in time the £15pp for chaat comes back once it’s safe too!
Three of us had the tasting menu, which is very good value. It was delicious. The restaurant was busy but felt safe. Service was fine, staff wore shields. All in all a great evening, will definitely be going again soon.
Great venue in which to meet up in the heart of Covent Garden. More casual than some of the other Cinnamon locations.
Back for the first time since lock-down and the food and customer service was exceptional as it was before the break - thank you so much for looking after us again. I shall be back soon :)
Friends Birthday afternoon tea we had an amazing time loved the afternoon tea ,service was great we all enjoyed it we had a fabulous afternoon.
The day we visited was a very quiet Tuesday lunch time, there was only one other table there when we got there. I don’t know if they were short staffed in the kitchen or the equipments were not working, out food were very very slow in between courses. We complain but was not given an explanation. No management came and apologise until three hours later when she came and give us our bill and I questioned her about it. No matter how good the food might be, if you have to wait 30 minutes for each dish to come out, you lose your appetite completely.
Nice food and they made a fuss of us but I wouldn’t hurry back. Wasn’t as special as I was hoping it would be
Great service in a cozy & clean environment.
Friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating.
Food tasted lovely & fresh. The chicken biryani was tasty but other dishes could do with more flavours.
Tea was quite strong, but they offered extra hot milk to make it more palatable. It required lots of sugar to remove the bitterness.
Overall a great experience & would visit again to try different dishes
Amazing service, the waiters were so friendly and nice. Never had this sort of service in any restaurant before. Loved it, will definitely come again!!
The food portions were very small. Prices were a bit steep for not much food.
We came during eat out to help out scheme.
We really liked our starters which were chaat and crab balls
The main course wasn’t that good as it lacked spice and flavour. It was the chicken and fish curries on the set menu as the 50% discount.
The dessert was ok.
Our masala tea was very strong and lacked taste
The non alcoholic cocktail wasn’t nice as it tasted of yoghurt and ice
The ambience was very casual so wasn’t posh like you’d expect in Covent Garden
A bit disappointed
Excellent restaurant, with a wide range of dishes. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.
Smart casual restaurant with outstanding food. We had the 9 dish tasing menu -- £25pp, excellent value -- every dish was tasty and we left very full. Cocktails also very good.
Service was prompt and attentive.
My only (very) minor complaint is that the tables are small and challenging for an indian meal where dishes are usually shared.
This was our second visit, will definitely return.
The food was great and the service was good but my major concern was that there was zero social distancing inside the restaurant and it felt like a pre-Covid atmosphere. My friend and I didn’t feel particularly safe in there and are quickly and left.
Good menu choice, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Really impressed as booked quite last minute
Amazing food, authentic flavours, great ambience and friendly attentive service. Highly recommended
Cinnamon Bazaar is highly recommended - the food is excellent, the set menu is great value, and the service is very good. One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited.
Only negative is that the bare walls and floors amplify the noise so it’s quite loud at times. But overall, still a great place for mid-priced Indian food.
Food was excellent. Lamb shank rogan josh was next level. Will go again.
The food was indeed really good, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Even the set menu already discounted was around £30. The service took a bit too long but overall it was a reasonably good experience.
