Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest restaurant & cocktail bar from Vivek Singh's range of Cinnamon restaurants, situated in London’s Covent Garden.

We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.

The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, and can accommodate 12 – 30 guests in this picturesque dining room, featuring its very own private bar. It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

Private Dining

Aptly named after Delhi’s ancient spice bazaar, Khari Baoli is also known as a ‘watering hole’ due to the well from which the 17th century market first originated. Fast forward to today and it is now Asia’s largest spice market playing host to millions of charismatic traders & shoppers who gather every day, not just to exchange ingredients but to feast and swap life stories- just like they’ve done for centuries. Khari Baoli dining room & bar Situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, the picturesque dining room seats up to 30 and features its very own private bar. Available for exclusive hire for parties between 12-30 guests, it is the perfect place for anybody looking to exchange their own stories with friends over fantastic food and drink! Our delicious Vivek Singh's feasting set menus start from £35 per head and offer easily priced packages to suit your party size and budget.

Excellent. Redefines Indian cuisine. A more informal dining experience than Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen. But the food was every bit as good. Superb. We will return.

We tried Cinnamon Bazaar for the first time for a friend's birthday and had such a great time! Apart from the yummy food, the best part of it was definitely the service. Our waiter was so energetic and fun, gave great food recommendations, and just made the whole dining experience that much better. The ambiance and vibe is very cozy- great for friend gatherings, dates, etc.

great

the only little niggle was the complementary glass of bubbles as part of signing up...
i was with a friend and she was asked to sign up to get her own glass. this was slightly embarrassing and time consuming having to do this at the table!

Not worthy of the "Cinnamon" brand....

I am a fan of fine Indian dining. Whilst I understand that this is a 'modern Indian Bazar' restaurant, i expected something better. I had booked online, and I got there early, to see if a table was available. Of course its a busy area, and I was politely asked to come back at the booking time. Absolutely fine ! So when we returned a few minutes later, the same hostess, thought we were walk in's and wanted to seat us at a bar table. She had to be reminded that we were booked. Service was OK, not exceptional. ( OK I do understand, its a full restaurant, its busy, and we are paying a premium for the square footage and all of that...) BUT, this was just another Indian restaurant. There was NO "Cinnamon" feel or customer service. Therefore to me a premium is NOT due in this case. The food was below average. Small portions, and the Aubergine was uncooked. maybe that's the way they served it, but no - not acceptable. I think Vivek Singh should removes his name from this joint. Having said that I had also visited Cinnamon Kitchen. Food there was excellent but the service lousy.

I have a list of MUST visit fine Indian restaurants - and I think the Cinnamon group is being deleted....

After reading so many reviews I was expecting more but I was a little disappointed with what we ordered. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely go back and give them another try because the samosas we're delicious as was dessert. But our two mains fell a bit flat.

The ambiance is really well put together and the service was lovely.

I meant to take a picture of dessert but it was so yummy it was gone before I had a chance! It was the pudding I think...

The starter came before drinks were served with the main following minutes after. We were finished within 45 minutes. You felt hurried, which isn't a good experience. Room was so dark most tables, including us, had to use our phone to read the menu. Music was to loud. No explanation of the menu and its not clear which dishes are smaller plates that could be a starter except for the Chaat list. Food was good though. Good portion size and tasty.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. They had the most amazing, creative dishes and they all tasted amazing. Some of the dishes were creative combinations of Indian flavors, and other dishes were excellent fusions of British and Indian flavors. The price is an unbelievable value for the quality of food you get. Location was fun, staff was friendly. We highly recommend going here!!

Brilliant staff, food and ambience. The manager was so humble and loving. She made sure I feel special on my birthday by offering us few free dishes and a small cake. Even though we reached late at the restaurant. We were still welcomed nicely. Loved the food. Cheers!

I have very high expectations when it comes to Indian food as this is my food, the food I’ve eaten all my life. I can not fault this place. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We ordered a selection of starters and main courses. The food was exceptional! It all had authentic Indian flavours and tastes. The meat was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning and i highly recommend this place. So happy I found this hidden gem! Please remember to take cash as service charge is not included in the bill and can not add this onto the bill.

We went on a saturday evening and found the restaurant was extremely busy and buzzing which is not a bad thing but a tad too noisy for my liking (difficult to converse and had to raise my voice considerably). Lighting was a bit too dim where we were seated. Tables had a tealight placeholder but the tealights were put out. Needed a small candle/ tealight for the table and some nice music perhaps to enhance the ambience. Cocktail was good! tried the Gin Julep - very refreshing. Food was very good and no complaints.. husband tried Methi Chicken and I had the Kaali Dal. Starters were quite good (samosa chaat & gunpowder bullet chillies). I would surely visit again!

Could not recommend. We were seated atleast 15 minutes late even after a reservation. There seemed to be a lot of confusion with reservations, people with reservations before me were still waiting. Food was generally not of great quality. Currently London has such great Indian restaurants this was quite shockingly poor. Fish curry was good, rest was not at all authentic. I am pretty sure the person who made the ‘gulawati kebabs’ has no idea what those actually are. Too expensive as well. Don’t see this place lasting too long.

We've been to Cinnamon Kitchen which was an amazing restaurant, so imagined Cinnamon Bazaar would also be a great restaurant. Overall it was an average experience with the food for the price paid. The starters and chaats were great but the mains were a little disapointing. I found the Grilled Aubergine a little bland and lacked excitement. The restaurant is really lovely and the atmosphere was great but the waiter was a littl un-attentive and drinks took a while to come out, however it was a friday night and it was extremely busy, especially the bar area.

Food was nice with good variety. However, no one explained the menu (was busy as it was Friday night). Food did not come out very quickly, but even then we were basically kicked out as soon as we finished our desserts. A staff member came over to ask us to take our bill because they had a number of people waiting for tables and they needed ours back. Then as soon as we paid with our cards he asked us to get up and stood by and waited for us to get our jackets on. This would have been fine if we (a) had been told at booking that our table was only for two hours, and (b) if the food had come out quickly and servers came by more regularly to take subsequent orders. Really disappointed and don’t need the rude service again.

Really great food! Nice wine selection. Slightly overpriced overall. Would recommend booking for a table early as it gets very busy. We were asked to leave our table before we had finished our wine and there was nowhere else to sit so we had to stand by the bar. But the staff did eventually find us seats. Lovely décor!
