Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest restaurant & cocktail bar from Vivek Singh's range of Cinnamon restaurants, situated in London’s Covent Garden.

We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.

The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, and can accommodate 12 – 30 guests in this picturesque dining room, featuring its very own private bar. It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

Private Dining

Aptly named after Delhi’s ancient spice bazaar, Khari Baoli is also known as a ‘watering hole’ due to the well from which the 17th century market first originated. Fast forward to today and it is now Asia’s largest spice market playing host to millions of charismatic traders & shoppers who gather every day, not just to exchange ingredients but to feast and swap life stories- just like they’ve done for centuries. Khari Baoli dining room & bar Situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, the picturesque dining room seats up to 30 and features its very own private bar. Available for exclusive hire for parties between 12-30 guests, it is the perfect place for anybody looking to exchange their own stories with friends over fantastic food and drink! Our delicious Vivek Singh's feasting set menus start from £35 per head and offer easily priced packages to suit your party size and budget.

Been here twice. Food is amazing and location is good. Your staff are ok but lack attention to detail. Enquiries are dealt with a bit slowly. Hard to get their attention as they don’t make much eye contact with tables.

Very cramped restaurant, very noisy not the dining experience we were anticipating. Really disappointed We enjoy cooking recipes from Vivek’s books and were anticipating something special . This unfortunately was not the case. If this is typical of all his restaurants would not recommend.

Amazing food, could have had better service, a few items were forgotten and not brought to the table so we had to ask for them again. Beautiful setting.

Lovely set lunch with a couple of snacks to start with our beers. Very varied menu lots to choose from. Cobra beers v v expensive however which spoil it somewhat.

Afternoon tea for 4. Masala chai was not good at all, over brewed and not enough milk. The food was OK.

The food is good, although a couple of dishes were not that great. In general the ingredients were fresh and the dishes tasty.
Service was very slow and not particularly friendly or welcoming. Not rude, just a bit awkward, and we had to ask a couple of times for some things (ie. to see a food menu when we sat down!)
Nice experience over all though.

The food is delicious as always, bursting with flavours. Service was good and friendly, ambience was good too. Tables are a little bit too small and close together, making it a bit of squeeze. Worth it for the food though. Great central location too. Not my first time here and certainly won’t be the last.

The food was great, we had some mixed dishes to share and they also had some good vegetarian options for me too. The service was really prompt, although they were almost too keen and came over for our order within minutes of sitting down!

Pre-Theatre set menu, fantastic value and delicious food. Plenty to choose from, a true taste of India in London. The cinnamon Bellini was very easy to drink as well and paired very well with our starters.

Service was ok, food
didn't impress me.
£17 for a dry, curry flavoured shepherds pie. No, not again.
Wilted greens discoloured from over cooking.
Had a hot starter to share, something like parcels of chicpeas smoothred in some gluppy sauce.
Sorry guys, not for me.

We chose Bazaar, as we really wanted to try one of the Cinnamon Club group, but less formal. First impressions were good. Nice cocktails at the bar, and staff seemed very friendly. We ordered the tasting menu, which I expected to showcase the food available. But it was all rather disappointing. Nothing jumped out with a WOW. Everything seemed to be pre prepared and a lot of the things had very similar sauces/chutneys. And really not sure what the aubergine dish was covered in - bird seed, I think (terrible). The lamb was mushy (sous vide?) and then “smoked” to add flavour. Dull. And the service was very rushed and table very cramped. Dinner for 2 with 2 cocktails and 2 beers each cost £140! Perhaps our expectations were too high, but this was really disappointing. Asked if we would go back, or recommend to others, the answer is definitely NO.

Delicious food, could be a bit warmer. Service was slow, had to call waiters over., but they were very friendly. Very crammed space, small tables that couldn’t fit everything and couldn’t get much privacy from the adjacent table. Amazing cocktails.

Went there for high tea. Food and waiter were nice. But if you specifically ask if it would be possible to NOT get something in your food, and that twice, and it still ends up on your plate, after requesting it to be changed, that's not what I would consider good service.

Great tasting food but the service was so slow and poor it overshadowed the afternoon tea experience. No response from the restaurant to a complaint email which also doesn't leave a good lasting impression.

The food tasted great but very low potion compared to price. Plus a lot of items weren’t available so limited our choices.
