Very good quality food; very reasonably priced; handy to the subway
Awful service. Seems like the restaurant was very understaffed. We waited over an hour for food and once it arrived it was very cold. We had to ask 3 times for our check and the check the incorrect order. There were multiple delivery drivers standing inside near our table for 45min+ waiting for orders. Will definitely not be returning or recommending.
Awesome Indian food! No regrets! Go here! It's great! Very nice!
It was ok. Ingredients could be better quality and cleaner.
Gracious service, delicious food, lovely setting. This is a nice spot in a busy nightlife area. Stopped in for dinner before an event and was served quickly, was not rushed, and was able to get to event in a timely manner.
This is Indian food taken to a one-size-fits-all level. Granted, we didn't order anything too adventurous, but a restaurant that seats 18 people can't possibly do a great job on all 40-something dishes on the menu (including tandoori.) The sauces were just okay, and there was very little chicken in the 2 chicken dishes we ordered. The best thing, with the freshest-tasting spices, was a chickpea entree. Some fried appetizers were greasy, others fine. All in all, not great. but it's tiny and quiet, and the service is good, so go for an easy experience, but not great-tasting Indian cuisine.
What a gem! The food is delicious and the service could not have been better. It's a casual restaurant but my family found it extremely cozy.
We love Indian food and thought the quality and taste was terrific!
I took my son to dinner on his day home from college.I thought that Indian food would be a wonder for his tastebuds after another semester in small town. The food was good & authentic, but the service was poor. The waiter was overly eager to clear our plates BEFORE we had a chance to eat everything! We were very annoyed by this, especially since there were no waiting guests & some empty tables. We don't recommend it unless you ARE in a eat & run mood.
We went to Cinnamon Garden for Monther's Day 2018. We loved it. The food was some of the best Indian food we've had in New York since moving here 4 years ago. Highly recommended.
First review but had to share the great experience we had. Best Indian food I've had in the city and service was amazing - they treat their customers so well. Their menu has so many options - even the pickiest of friends found something she loved. BYOB with NO fee even to cork. They are new and close to a number of other Indian restaurants on the street/in the area so the place wasn't crowded at all (a plus in my opinion) but will be as soon as word gets out so go before there's a line out the door.
Really good Indian cuisine
Byob-- makes it more affordable
Fans of Indian food won't want to miss this new kid on the block. The tandoori and all of the food is fresh and made to order, putting it a notch above many restaurants of its kind. The service is friendly and responsive.
