Lovely food and great value.
Delicious food, attentive service, not over priced. Thanks for a lovely evening, will return! Thanks for the anniversary plate , very thoughtful! Five stars
Second visit first time was last December for my birthday, had an amazing time with their tasting menu, service and food great.
This time during Covid, went to celebrate daughters 18th. Understandably it was different. The service was a lot slower and the menu limited. Was not offered an outside table even though we booked and had spoken to restaurant. It was extremely hot inside which made it uncomfortable.
My daughter received a happy birthday desert. I will go again but not during Covid.
Went for the 9 course tasting menu, was a really nice mixture of flavours.
Excellent dining experience and great value for money.
Terrible customer service - took 45 mins for a drinks order to be taken and a further 30mins after that to receive said drinks.
Food service was equally as slow. None of the staff were apologetic for the poor service.
The food was amazing - one of the best indian-fusion. However, the staff was very overwhelmed and kept forgetting about us and other customers. I had to stand up to remind them about the drinks and menu 3 different times. There was also only one person at the door welcoming the customers and getting the bill. So people waited a long time (20 min minimum) for any kind of service.
Food was incredible, restaurant looks beautiful. Overall a great place to eat
Went on a busy night do was hard to get the waiters attention.
The food was excellent.
The service shocking-staff need urgent training in customer service. Chaotic and unorganised. No communication between them. Not friendly or paying attention to their customers.
Lack of safety, no social distancing between tables and customers, staff not wearing masks. Lack of/ dirty glass wear, rinsed under taps.
Frustrating and disappointing experience.
Nothing special about the food or the place.
Food is amazing and I will 100% be going back. Service was very mediocre as they were clearly short staffed but the amazing food made up for it and I would highly recommend.
The food here is amazing - we were a party of 4 and all chose the vegan options. Nothing disappointed - just a few more vegan options on the menu would make it perfect!
Great food, but really poor service. Won't be going back.
First venture out to London. Saw restaurant on Celebrity Masterchef and we’re so pleased we went. Food was delicious, tables well spaced out, hand sanitiser at main entrance. Our main courses were well presented (polluck, lamb shank and king prawns). The samosas, fish cakes and kebab starters were really tasty, not too hot and completely different dishes to what we have previously tried. Restaurant under shadows of Battersea Power Station development and a stones throw from River, highly recommend.
The location is superb! Samosa starter very good and is all freshly made however the place was understaffed and the staff they had were quite rude and made us feel uncomfortable. What a shame
Wine was tepid, food initially cold . Overpriced for what it is, was expecting better.
After seeing this restaurant on celebrity masterchef I thought we would give it a try, we decided to walk from station!! Take a cab! Lol , I never realised what they have done to battersea power station!! Its amazing.. bars /restaurant's
We decided to go for the 9 plate sharer..wow, food was unbelievable, service was great, really looked after us well, and prices are really reasonable, we will definitely be returning 5*.
Went for the 9 course sharing menu, really good value for what you get and the food was delicious. The first half of the menu came out in good time, but then had to wait over 30 minutes for anything else to come out. The restaurant so unbelievably hot everyone was fanning themselves down with menus, we had to leave for air multiple times. At this point we just wanted to leave so got the rest of the food to take away. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, however the maitre d' was uninspiring, he should try smiling a bit. Would consider coming back as the food was great.
The sharing menu offered decent value for money, but the whole experience was let down by poor service and mediocre food. The staff were not attentive at all and service was slow. I would not recommend this restaurant or return again.
We had the set menu of 9 dishes and were served quickly. The restaurant filled up very quickly from 7pm but this didn’t affect the speed in which our food was brought out - very impressed. Quality of food was brilliant and great value for the amount of food we ate. Will definitely be back.
The dishes were very good with some being excellent. We for the 9 dish taster menu. Service was a bit lacking due to the reduced number of staff.
A little lacking & not comparable to the other locations.
Enjoyed the food and would definitely go back
Great food and a nice atmosphere and will look forward to my next visit.
Delicious food and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended
We had a lovely evening the restaurant has a nice buzz and the food and service were wonderful. One of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had, nice cocktails and a delicious cake for my sisters birthday.
Lovely to be asked by Vivek Singh If all was okay? Nice touch. Limited choices but lovely food with the daal being spot on. My choice of cocktail was not available as stated on menu?
I can imagine a vibe if the place was full but a nice experience overall.
I wish them success in the future.
Excellent, though limited vegetarian options would prevent us coming back sooner
Overall it was really lovely. Drinks very slow in arriving. Had to ask twice. Perhaps think about having hand sanitizer by the door and inside.
Absolutely amazing! great food. Open kitchen is an amazing insight into real life in the kitchen.
Whilst the Food was fantastic and very flavorsome, we did not realize the restaurant was Dog friendly. We appreciate that Guide Dogs are a must and accepted naturally, but home pets really??
Other than that, brilliant.
Cold meal which was reheated rather than a new one made. This made the fish mushy.
No VAT reduction for the customer here !!
lovely lunchtime weather sat outdoors so at distance from the indoors masked up full PPE staff service but we managed a pleasant uninterupted socially distanced lunch for two that went on long into afternoon. Delicious food. Great samosa and chutney starter tender butter chicken main. All in all a great lunch and a good day out!
Superb food, great atmosphere and vibrant location!
Excellent food and service. It’s great to see the restaurant open and delivering such brilliant food once again.
Although we were happy with the food, drink & service, we were somewhat perturbed that there seemed to be almost no formalities in place for the current pandemic. Our waiter was not wearing a mask, our temperatures were not checked and there was no requirement to complete our details for the govt's world beating track and trace.
If any or all of these were not required, then I think we should have been told why.
Quiet-ish Wednesday night. The service was good and all the food was great - the aubergine in sesame tamarind main was stand out amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
