Great food! Would recommend the taster menu
Arrived early and asked to sit at the table whilst waiting for other guests, not offered drinks or menus without asking. Went for 9 course tasting menu with free cocktail (excellent). Good view of the chefs at work in the kitchen.
Waiters did nothing to “sell” or explain the dishes and I had to ask for the menu card to tell the rest of the table what we were eating. All the food was of very high quality and we especially liked the prawns in curry sauce and lamb parcels will dall.
Bill for 5 with beers was £217 which was great value. Pity the table service slightly lets the chefs down.
We went to Cinnamon Kitchen for my birthday and the food was delicious and beautifully spiced and the service attentive. We will definitely be returning.
Cinnamon is a dining experience, not just a restaurant. The staff go over and above and the food is such a special fusion of spice and flavour. Excellent food and often really good value.
We had the nine course tasting menu and it was fantastic, it felt special and like a feast without being stuffy. The service was also impeccable. Would highly recommend.
Went to Cinnamon kitchen on Saturday and absolutely loved it. Service were great and food even better! Can highly recommend the ginger sticky pudding - one of the best desserts I've even had! Look forward to coming back!
This was our second visit to Cinnamon Battersea. Many things made this trip amazing. First our waiter Steve was receptive to my wife and the fact that it was her birthday and wanted to feel special . We had fun yet informative conversations with Steve which made the party of five very comfortable. He allowed use to order from the brunch and dinner menu. The chefs were great and made my wife a panna Cota for her birthday dessert. We wanted to thank the chefs for creating and providing us such a beautiful meal so Steve asked the chef to come out . Well we were blown away by chef Seb Khan who talked us through some of the dishes and some history on the Cinnamon brand. Just as we were about to leave my wife was invited to the kitchen to view the making of a naan by chef Seb .
I had requested that my wife should feel special well the team exceeded that wish as Anita has not stop saying just how special her birthday lunch was.
Many many thanks to you all I look forward to returning soon.
The food was exquisite. The service was very friendly and good. It’s a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful environment. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
My second visit an will definitely go again. As good as first visit.
Ambience a d service are fine but food is definitely not worth it. Very ordinary taste for the price served at.
Woukd not go back.
Slow staff, some food not great. Felt sick afterward. I would not return.
I went for dinner with my friend and we had 9 course tasting menu.
The menu was tasty but unfortunately I received few dishes cold and I was really disappointed!
Average good but nothing special .
Ate here on one of the world cup football matches do not surprised to see only three tables occupied.
Service was swift but food could have been warmer.
Portions were perfectly balanced and we managed three course without feeling uncomfortable. Wouldn't want them any smaller though.
Ate á la carte which is quite expensive for what it is...an Indian restaurant under a railway arch, would probably wait till there was a deal on before going again. There is nothing about the place to warrant the prices charged apart from the (trying to be) trendy riverside location. Yes the food is good but it is not THAT good.
That said service was pleasant and tip not included in bill so remember to tip accordingly.
We had the 6 course tasting menu from a TimeOut promo at £29 per person, which was (in theory) a saving of 72%
The food was delicious and the portions , although could look small, were more than enough as there are 6 courses: three small bites to share (no choice given) and a starter, main and dessert to choose each.
While value for us would have been 5 stars, I only give it 4 because if the 72% saving claim is true full price would have been on the expensive side.
All in all, I would really recommend it.
Was a lovely find, many friends have recommended this place. Friendly staff, place was lovely and food was great!
All really good but a little pricey. We were also advised to order extra rice despite the fact that the dishes we had chosen came with rice
Excellent food, excellent service, an interesting menu and a great atmosphere. We will be back. The lobster soup comes highly recommended in particular.
Be aware that they don't allow customers to leave a service charge - we were a little surprised by this but it appears to be restaurant policy!
This is a lovely venue under the arches, oozing with style and chic simplicity. Starters were petite but beautiful, and the mains innovative and extremely tasty. Keenly priced menu and a robust wine list. All round a delightful restaurant of fine dining modern Indian food. If you are looking for a curry house, this ain't it.
Second time I have eaten in here, have done a take away a couple of times. I actually think it's worth staying to eat rather than taking away. They plate the dishes up so nicely. The service is friendly. Food is really good, quite spicy!! I will be back.
We had the 9 course tasting menu. The food was mildly spiced and a little bland. A tasting menu allows the chef to get ahead with prepartion but the food didnit taste freshly cooked. The service was excellent , although a little slow to start . A nice venue but i would avoid the tasting menu.
Lovely food, great decor and service. Bit tricky to find on google with the building work in the area (head to Battersea bridge and turn right at the river!)
The food and flavours were amazing. Indian cuisine at its best. The meat was cooked to perfection.
Pricing was so reasonable.
Atmosphere was so friendly, the waiter service and head waiter gave an excellent service.
All in all a great experience!
We opted for the £39 tasting menu and enjoyed all the courses a lot. All was cooked well and had a good flavour. Service was good. Do be aware though that each course is quite small - -eg one course is simply a small plate with an avocado dip.
Though finding the restaurant was not the easiest that will become easier once the building around the old power station progresses further, and when we did arrive we were warmly greeted and treated to great food in the sampling menu, and very good service
in the Arches by the Battersea Power station this restaurant has the ability to be a powerhouse of dining in this area. Billed as Indian this will appeal to most people looking for interesting flavours and taste. Regrettably access to this particular area is not easy but the restaurant cannot be faulted for that!
Friendly and polite staff, lovely comfortable seating areas, good wine list and superb food, unlike any other Indian restaurant! We will be returning.
Great food, staff very attentive,,, we went on a Friday afternoon so restaurant not busy, our third visit never disappointed
Set menu was good value and offered good options. Good vibe in the restaurant. Service was slow.
Top-rate Indian food with a twist - everything we tried was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, though we felt they were still getting up to speed which is fair enough as it hasn't been open long. It was a hot evening so we sat outside but don't expect it to be quiet as it is right beneath the mainline out of Victoria. Leave time for a walk by the river or in Battersea Park beforehand.
Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea is delightful. The food is excellent, delicious dishes you can't wait to back and try again. The building is atmospheric and beautifully styled. Service and staff welcoming and efficient. Can't wait to return!
I booked a table here for my partner's birthday, and we were both absolutely blown away. I genuinely cannot remember having had a better meal out for a long, long time.
Every dish we tried was so full of complex flavours and so well crafted. I rarely give food reviews (as you can tell), but this was really something special. We will be back, soon.
I particularly recommend the Sea Bass wrapped in Banana Leaf and the beef steak. The lobster soup, flambe'ed with cognac was incredible. It's making me hungry just thinking about it all again! Thank you for a brilliant meal!
My wife and I went for lunch on Sunday and we ordered from the set 3 course menu. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared with the right level of spice. Service was both friendly and efficient.
The restaurant is in a railway arch and we both liked the modern decor.
Cinnamon Kitchen is now on our list of good local restaurants that we will use.
The nine item tasting menu was really nice and gave a flavour of different kind with each item.
This is the first time I have eaten at this cinnamon kitchen and while the food is always excellent the service was exceptionally poor. We waited 15mins to be served for drinks and the order.
My main was incorrect and had been served to another person. When it eventually did arrive my partner had finished his meal!
While the waiter did give us complimentary drink as an apology. The damage was already done and compounded by the attentiveness shown to other customers sitting beside us who arrive 30 and 45 minutes after us. Their food was served at nearly the same time as us!
I would also to point out that we were effectively ignored by the waiter who was proactively serving the other couples.
I would not go back to this branch it was not a good experience.
We went for my husbands birthday with two children -attracted partly by the great sounding kids menu-interesting yet appealing for under 8s. Unfortunately in the execution the kids food had not really been adapted to an under 8 palate. The chicken skewer was not on a skewer but a very large piece crusted in whole peppercorns which would have been too much for your average adult. The black Dahl served as part of the kids meal was spicier then any I ate in India and lacked the creamy aromatic flavour which I expected it to have and which I thought would appeal to the kids. The grown up food was lovely -though definitely at hot end. But they did try to bring our mains with the starters which was odd- then when we asked to have the mains subsequently there was a very very long wait. Overall took 2hrs 45mins for the three course meal mainly due to service delays. And then I waited 25 minutes for the bill-which when I eventually got it was wrong. Front of house really letting down what should be a great place and very dismissive of any feedback we gave directly. A real shame.
TERRIBLE SERVICE AND RUDE WAITER FOOD HADHAIR IN IT WAS TOO OILY EVEN THOUGH WE REQUESTED VERY LITTLE OR NONE AND WAS LUKE WARM. MY DAUGHTERS HAD STOMACH ACHES THE NEXT DAY WAS AWFUL.
ANTON WAS CONDESCENDING AND MADE US UNCOMFORTABLE
Came here to celebrate husbands birthday . The staff made us feel very welcome.
We had the tasting menu which was delicious, one of the best chicken tikka I have ever had along with lots of other dishes that we wouldn’t have thought to order.
We had a fantastic evening at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea. The food was absolutely delicious, the spice and flavour in each of the dishes was unbelievable. The service was great, attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely be visiting again as we loved the restaurant and I think this area is going to get better and better as more of the Battersea development opens up.
We tried the 9 plates special menu which was fantastic. Such vibrant colours and amazing flavours. The staff were very friendly and left just enough time between the courses so we weren’t too full. I always order the same thing when I have Indian so was very interested in trying something new....I wasn’t disappointed and will definitely visit again.
