Took my hubby for his birthday meal and was touched that they remembered when we had dessert and brought him a birthday treat! Really enjoyed the food and ambience. we arrived v early but they managed to seat us so we had time for ore dinner cocktails! Defo worth a visit even if menu is quite small it’s v delicious 😋
Good food and Ambience. Portion sizes were rather small.
This was our second time at the Cinnamon Kitchen and it was even better than the first......great food,, the restaurant was quiet for a Sunday but I enjoyed it..
Spend the evening celebrating our wedding anniversary and the service, quality of the food were excellent, looking forward to our next visit!
Excellent cuisine and friendly staff. Would definitely go back!
Unfortunately we ordered the 9 dish tasting menu….completely tasteless!!
A mention for Anastasia, our waitress who was very attentive and helpful
Went there Saturday night! I think they were understaffed so we waited a little between courses etc but otherwise it was a great experience and a fun night! Must admit we had already had an amazing day!
The restaurant was exceptionally busy and as a result the service level was poor. Staff we’re doing the best they could, but either the restaurant had taken too many bookings or had too few staff. The food was delicious and apart from the challenge of getting seated the ambiance was good.
The WiFi was very long winded to access as absolutely no signal if you happened to have forgotten your account password. Something simple like the sky cloud would improvethis.
We spent 2 hous+ in the Restaurant
Received drinks order after the Starter's arrived .
Only 1 round of drinks purchased due to the poor attention given to us.
Starters were warm not hot .Main dishes were tasty ,mild heat ,we had Lamb Rogan Josh. The flavours were lovely
Kitchen staff appeared very relaxed. The waiting/ serving staff were obviously under intense pressure.
It took nearly 30 minutes after our main before a waiter returned to process either dessert or Bill, needles to say the bill was the choice
Had to then seek out someone to take the payment, a member of staff , maybe management in a shirt with buttons undone and sweating profusely ,chasing around looking for a machine. No verbal interaction was offered during payment.
We left feeling very disappointed ,neglected and unloved.......
Being an Indian I don't usually like eating an Indian meal out. However, for Cinnamon Kitchen I would definitely go again. We had the set menu. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. No dry pieces of chicken, the butter chicken was moist and flavoursome. The panner and prawns were soft. I don't like aubergines but the sauce with the baby aubergines was amazing. Sticky toffee pudding may not be a very Indian dessert but put it with cinnamon ice cream and it's a delightful combination. And to top it off is a gorgeous berry gin cocktail. The service was excellent, nothing too much trouble and very attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
An excellent tasting menu with surprisingly large portions. Lovely cocktails to start.
The quality of all the courses was excellent.
Food as always was amazing. But the restaurant seemed to be short-staffed and was struggling to serve customers or take orders. Had to wait 25 mins to have our order taken. Was a let down.
Not great. Food is average. Atmosphere is good. Service was poor. No value for money.
Delicious food with a friendly service and nice atmosphere. Would have been even better if they had served the food outside.
Lunch with friends we had not seen for 18 months! Special occasion and the Cinnamon Kitchen was a perfect place to meet up!
Loved it 10/10
The food was amazing, we had the tasting menu and really enjoyed it - good value
The food was really good
The main dishes are served complete with rice or breads so we didn’t over eat like we normally do in an Indian restaurant
The food is not spicey for our palette but very tasty
Our waitress was very good and attentive
It’s a big restaurant so good for big groups
We three friends had the sharing menu for £29.99. Love that it was presented as 4 carefully thought out "courses" each paired with plates that would work together. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned - eg prawns were still juicy and "crunchy" yet tender and not over powered with too much seasoning so that they still tasted like fresh sea food! The third course was a main lamb dish with rice and black dahl - exquisite! We paired our meal with a lovely Cote de Provence Rosé - that was a perfect accompaniment! Amazing value and a lovely place to dine.
Amazing food and great service. Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend.
Excellent food and wonderful staff, what’s not to like?
A long wait to be seated despite having a reservation and it was very busy so service took longer then expected. However food was exceptional. All dishes were exquisite and would definitely recommend.
Overall a very enjoyable experience. All of the dishes served were of a very high standard and some were outstanding. The reason why I only gave a 4 stars for overall was because when we arrived, we were shown to a round table at the front of the restaurant, immediately we sat down at this table we all noticed how cold the temperature was at this table. There was an AC unit attached the ceiling above our table which we asked to have switched off but after a few minutes as this seemed to make no difference to the temperature so we were moved to a rectangular table further back in the restaurant and here the temperature was perfect. Downside to this was it was difficult to hold conversation from one end of the table to the other due to the residual noise level and I noticed as the evening wore on that no one was sitting in the front end of the restaurant and all tables in the rear were taken adding to the noise level. Therefore my assumption was that this was a known problem and one that needs to be sorted to have made our experience 5 star. I recommend anyone booking this restaurant to ask for a seat in the rear and if more than 4 people ask for a circular table!
Food was brought out in quick succession and was luke warm. No attention was provided for a good 30-45 mins.
We asked for the bill 4 times and as a result missed the last Thames clipper boat back to Canary Wharf. Food quality and taste was under average. 9 course taster menu.
Tasting menu was excellent. Service very good. Wine list is over priced.
Great food and service
We paid tap water £6.
Very helpful staff. Very good food. Arrived promptly. Only small delay in asking for the bill!
Outstanding food and superb service. This is proper Indian cooking.
We were shown to a lovely round table for 6 which made it easy to talk altogether and was great fun. The service was excellent and the food incredible.
Perfect food, service and atmosphere. Our first visit but we will be back - loved it - thank you
Great food, service and ambience - this new development by the power station has a really great vibe - would definitely go again
Excellent food and excellent service. Great evening.
Wonderful meal while staying in london. Our waitress and the new waitress on the evening were fantastic!!
I’ve been here before . Great food as always
Great ambiance in the restaurant and surrounding area. Great food. Great service . Loved it
Absolute terrible experience I’m actually going to be writing a formal complaint about the manger.
Food was really tastey and service was great giving good recommendations. Will definitely go back.
This venue in Battersea is vibrant and fun and the service was particularly good but the food was not a hood as it should be. Samosas were soggy and it all gave the impression of being mass produced and prepared too far in advance. The naan were better. Drinks fine. £100 for two - the food beeds to improve a lot
Every aspect was excellent. I had a set menu which was fantastic value given the quality of the food. I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone.
