We had the tasting menu, which wasn't really a tasting menu in that many courses were brought together, but was delicious, the food was very nice though too much for us. It's a strange place, I think it's the fact that it's so quiet round there and there is so much development going on, but it just felt rather fake and odd, and it's a bit too big and cavernous which detracts from the vibe somewhat.

We had the banana leaf sea bass, wild African prawn for starters and the pollock and king prawns in Bengali turmeric curry for mains. The sea bass in particular was amazing and I would strongly recommend. The Bengali prawn curry also is especially good. For dessert try the Himalayan Queen and you won't be disappointed

Service was below average, it seemed as though there were two people taking care of the entire restaurant. The tasting menu was good but seemed that the order was not properly thought out. Heavier meat dishes at the beginning, that were very good, but as the course of the meal went on the flavors were more bland and unimpressive.

Bar service was very slow, waited about 30 minutes to get a drink.

Upon entering the restaurant, it looks beautiful, and is set in a beautiful location, but unfortunately due to almost being the only people in such a large space, the atmosphere was lacking and it gave way to worry as to why it was so empty on a Sunday night. We decided to get the sharing menu, and unfortunately, this was such a let down. The starters were very nice, but the quality of meals went down hill. All four of us didn’t like our mains, even comparing them to microwave meals. I wouldn’t come back based on the food quality alone. Definitely go to Gymkhana or Brigadiers instead. Their sister restaurant in the city is much much better.

On arrival the staff where very friendly and courteous. The ambience was very cosy and comfortable.
The service was very attentive and you did not feel pressured to order quickly. The food tantalised the taste buds and was pleasing to the eye. You where given time between courses to enjoy the sensations and flavours. The cocktails delicious.
Loved the place and plan to return.

Nice venue and ambience however the service was very poor. Took us 30 minutes to even be spoke to when we sat down. Had to chase the staff for every course. Very slow and un attentive. Food was very good once we got it. We were in there around 3 hours.

Delicious food, service was good but needs more polishing. An offer that was associated with my booking was not acknowledged via email or upon arrival (free champagne for signing up to newsletter) so was not really an offer. The notes I made on my Opentable booking were clearly not communicated to the service team so I was not sure why notes are being requested in the first place.

One of the drinks orders were forgotten, although later the staff profusely apologised for that, which was fine. Acoustics in the restaurant are bad, noisy even though there werent many guests there. Probably because of a lot of hard materials used for the interiors. You may consider some soft furnishings to mitigate that. The Front door was difficult to open because of suction created by the overhead air curtain, this should be able to be fixed easily. A couple of dishes were overpriced for the portion size in the Power Brunch menu. I look forward to improvements in the restaurants as I did enjoy the taste of the food.

Was looking forward to this meal but it wasn’t good food. It wouldn’t have been good for half the price. We went for the weekend power brunch. My lamb roll was cold, the uttapam was stodgy, the kids meal was far too spicy for kids. The kids grilled chicken was not on a skewer as described in the menu, it was burnt and was served with dry rice. It was basically like eating cardboard. We’re big fans of Vivek Singh but this was definitely not to the standards tha, I’m sure he, would want.

I booked here to celebrate my husband’s birthday, the food was really good, but the service was slow, and it was a little cold inside the restaurant. Even though I choose one of their offer from the app they didn’t explained anything there so we end up paying the normal amount.

We had the sharing tasting menu again. Starters beautifully spiced. Mains were very mildly spiced and a little bland in comparison although they were beautifully cooked. The 24 hour dal was superb! Each course came a bit too quickly after the one before so it felt a little rushed. Service was excellent however from every member of staff. Attentive but not intrusive.

They cancelled our booking just two hours before we had scheduled. Our friends had already set off to London and had to return home. Sense they had a big event book so dumped normal diners. Offered to book us in another day - big deal. Should have offered compensation.

The food was excellent. The service was extremely poor - on arrival, given winter time, our overcoats were not taken, the bar staff barely spoke English (did not understand a Gin & Tonic!) and we were eventually ushered to a table despite the restaurant being only half full. The waiter could barely speak English and worse, did not have knowledge of the menu at all. And despite being told that one of the party was gluten intolerant, managed to serve dishes containing gluten to her. We had also signed up to the newsletter which offered a free glass of champagne - we were unable to claim this and the manager took to arguing with one of the party about this. Finally, we were there for a birthday on a 2 for 1 offer - on arrival and directly with our waiter, this was re-confirmed however, when the bill arrived, there was no discount as we had chosen the tasting menu but at no point did anyone point that out to us despite us having reminded them of the offer we were trying to take advantage of. Had we known this, we would have chosen the same items on the a la carte menu to qualify for the 2 for 1 offer!
To repeat, the food was excellent but be weary of service and offers. A real pity.

The food was amazing but we had to wait for ages for our main course. And some other people next to our table had the same problem. I saw one women was quite upset and went to speak to manager to get a bottle of wine and some other drinks. If you can sort out your service problem everything else will be fine. Maybe just add a few more staff in the evening. Good luck! Thanks.

We’d heard good things about Cinnamon Kitchen but the food was really disappointing. My food had whole cardamom pod scattered throughout and the sauce on my partner’s meal tasted exactly like Heinz tomato soup... the waiter was rude and didn’t look at us once. Only saving grace was the great live band and the venue itself.

Unfortunately we found chicken in a number of the vegetarian dishes, which ruined our meal, as we were predominantly vegetarians eating. The waiter didn't handle the issue very well - when he came back after we had pointed it out, he didn't explain or apologise (although the manager did apologise later). The whole thing put a dampener on what could have been a really nice meal.

Went for Christmas lunch, which was set menu. Overall food quality was average, in particular the fried dishes were over cooked and quite dry. The chicken dish for our children was equally dry, no flavour and very salty.

Think they are trying to copy Amaya but need to improve food quality.

The out of the way location is an obstacle to visiting.
In the summer, it would not be so bad but in the winter it is dreary.
That said, inside the restaurant the food is excellent and although it is a very big room, it is not noisy.
Good value for money as to the food and will the special fixed menus offer a good selection of different foods.

Nice place - we did the 9 course tasting menu and felt scrimped on food. Have always walked away stuffed from any 9 course menu but this one I felt hungry still after. They could have also served the nine courses separately to make it feel more special.

Service was not great. Our immediate waiter for nice but the main manager was not very accommodating.

Regards,

Krishna
