Old Delhi Style Butter Chicken Curry
Ginger Toffee Pudding
cinnamon ice cream
Punjabi vegetable samosa, curried chickpeas, tamarind chutney
Good food, noisy atmosphere, service was slow but didn't bother us too much
Not as good as I’d hoped. Definitely good quality food and generous portions, but the mains were not as special as the starters. Naan was burnt. Dessert disappointing.
I’d go again if in the area though
Overall, a nice experience. Myself and my partner had a 4 course vegan menu for £30. All of the food was tasty, although not for those who can't tolerate a lot of spice. We did wait quite a while to have our orders taken and for our first course to come but was efficient after that. Our starter course of samosas were both stone cold in the middle, although they apologised and rectified this quickly.
The food was delicious, the staff very tentative and the ambiance just right!
We were fairly early at 18.15 on a Friday and there were only 2 other tables in use (it did fill up more by 19.00) so the place was a bit quiet - however the food was excellent, really tasty. Short menu but a wide enough range for us to select from. Pretty good value at £64 for two starters, mains and drinks. Try the Paneer main course, excellent
We had a lovely lunch from the set menu. The food was very good and it was good value for money. The restaurant was pretty quiet as it was a mid week lunch which was a shame.
We’ve been here before and enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly.
The staff was really friendly. The server young guy was really helpful and kind.
Hi Harshi, thank you so much for sending a great review! Hope to see you again soon.
Nice lunch and food very good but lacked atmosphere due to shortage of diners.
Toilets need refurbishing as current there is no hot water and taps are old and don't automatically close
Dishes come for individual rather than sharing. Indian restaurant food is always for sharing
we couldn't have wished for a more friendly service.and the food is still as good as the last time we came here.
Hi Mreys, thank you so much for sending a great review! Hope to see you again soon.
Loved the food, and the birthday surprise was lovely too! Would go again and again!
Hi Matt, thank you so much for sending a great review! Hope to see you again soon.
Absolutely delicious food, waiting staff lovely and very attentive
Amazing restaurant, the food was outstanding aswell. We were given a free birthday cake which was incredibly sweet and made the night even more memorable. Highly recommended this restaurant for everyone looking to escape and have a really good dinner
Hi Precious, glad you enjoyed your experience here! I hope to see you again soon. :)
Outstanding service and quality of food served. Will definitely be dining here again.
Hey there, thank you so much for sending a great review! See you soon. :)
Great food and atmosphere! Definitely will come back :)
Great little spot (no parking). Food was great, service was brilliant. Portions were an absolute dream. We opted for the experience menu and we’re glad we did!
We had a lovely evening and the staff were great. The noise from the wedding party next door in the bar was a bit intrusive but otherwise a lovely evening
Have been many times before and had a great time, sadly on this occasion although the food was good as always it was plain to see that standards have dropped from the attention of the staff to the cleanliness of the ladies toilets and no hot water in the gents.
The floor of the restaurant was dirty we did politely raise this points with a member of staff who took them in good grace but unfortunately we will not be rushing back or recommending the restaurant in the future
Christmas treat for the family and so our son who is linked to Santosh on Instagram and is training as a chef could eat at a restaurant he has worked at.
Fantastic all around - helpful survive, exceptional food
thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Cinnamon Kitchen, I can recommend.
I had a lovely meal .
Samosa chaat for starter was delicious . Packed full of flavour and just enough heat
Mains I had butter chicken with garlic naan . Another delicious dish . Looking forward to returning to try other dishes service was very friendly and swift .
Modern asian dining experience which served interesting, and beautifully cooked and well presented food. Highly recommend. No Poppadoms and chapatis here!
pre dinner drinks very slow in fact they came whilst we were already eating.Food was of a good standard.
The restaurant is really run down, not at all as expected. Food was good but the cocktails were poor. Every main came with rice so weren’t for sharing. A 2/3* dining experience
We were seated outside at our request as it was a pleasant evening and they had outside heaters to stay warm. However, I felt that as we were outside we were somewhat forgotten. We had one drink within the first hour as the service was poor.
The food was nothing to write home about which was disappointing as I had booked the meal for my partners birthday following a visit to the restaurant in July where we had a sample menu which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately I wish I hadn't followed up on this by rebooking. Won't be revisiting sorry and wouldn't recommend.
Great food and recommendations - loved the ambiance, very chill but could be for a more fancy meal too.
Went for my wife’s birthday for the first time. Food was excellent. Can’t complain about it, fast service and food was still hot not even warm. The only thing I can say is the The drinks wasn’t great. But I won’t put down the review for that. Might of been just my taste buds
I've been already and took my friends, who all said it was absolutely delicious we are vegetarian but a good amount of limited selection which was all on point. We will be back. 👍🏼
Starter was nice but main course average. Has to pick cloves out of rice . No beers on draft.
Food was good, but would have preferred it served as sharing, passing each other’s plates was awkward.
Music was too loud and had to ask several times to have it lowered so we could hear each other, table of 5. It’s a restaurant, not a club!
Food was fairly good, but service was terrible. Not greeted, confusion about booking, had to constantly call waiters to order both drinks and food.
At the end I presented my ticket to collect my coat, the reply I received was "you know which it is?". Not only only is this very poor from a service point of view, it is a massive security concern as I could have quite easily helped myself to anyone's jacket... Fortunately I quite like my own
Most of drink (beer) choices were not available...being told "sold out" "sold out" "sold out".
Attitude of restaurant assistants was not faborable, absolutely unfriendly.
I could not find any worth to visit again.
Great location, food, drinks and service for a team lunch of 9 people - great staff, attentive service and the food was delicious - Would 100% recommend for a fun and interesting lunch/dinner and drinks
Everything was absolutely perfect, the service, the food, the ambience, the cocktails and I was quite surprised with the bill actually not being anywhere near as high as I expected so definitely great value for money. The menu is shorter, but clearly it’s the quality they focus on and every single dish we had (and cocktail we had) was absolutely spotless. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back (soon)!
Really tasty food, portion size seem small but are filling. Nice setting and good service. Would recommend!
Its ok. The way we were led to our table was impersonal, the service slow (gave up after waiting for 25 mins for a desert menu & asked for the bill instead), salmon starter was average. Wine expensive for what it was. Loud venue. However, the main meals were delicious. The lamb really was very good. The chefs know how to cook but the rest was a little impersonal and slow and the ambience cold. I would not go back despite the mains being very good. Its not often I do not tip.
My third visit and probably my last, very disappointed with the food and service. Has significantly gone downhill since our last visit.
Was very disappointed by out meal. The restaurant interiors has no character very white and boring like a canteen. It was extremely loud and cramped so if your sitting in the middle of the restaurant people will continuously walk over you when your eating. The food itself lacked any flavour expect spice and very overpriced tiny portions. The chicken in my Biryani was cheap and chewy and there was no seasoning just chilli. One of the most disappointing restaurants I've ever been to.
