Lovely evening, table outside. The bar man didn't know how to make cocktails, the other bar man took ages. Need more staff. Service was slow at table. When food arrived the portions were very small. Very expensive for very small meals. We left still hungry 😕

Apart from the staff taking unfinished drinks as part of the efficient service the evening was faultless. We shared vegetarian starters, a lamb biryani and tandoori chicken, which a side of a trio of daal. Delicious and perfectly matched with the house champagne.

Despite the fact that we arrived at 6:15pm the early evening menu was not given. Had to ask for it and explain what we wanted. Waiter showed us the tasting menu and we asked again for the set menu. When we ordered I asked for the fish and the two people with me asked for chicken. We were all served chicken. I explained that I ordered fish and was told I hadn’t, the waiter said I had ordered chicken - I don’t eat chicken! Eventually my fish arrived. Food was good but service and general ambiance lacking - felt I would have been treated differently if I had been on the tasting or a la Carte menu. Won’t be returning.

Went here for a business lunch with an ex colleague and the food, location and service were excellent.

I would certainly consider returning for business and pleasure in the future.

A good choice of tasty dishes on the lunch menu. We sat outside in the sun which was great. The service was good without being obtrusive.

Great welcome, three of us had the 3 courses special menu with raspberry fizz cocktail. They did a brilliant non alcoholic version for me. Great vegetarian options in starter and in main. Needless to say I tried each of the three choices per course and everyone was a delight. Lovely and bright eating outside on a summery evening this is a special no nonsense great food place. Their greeting was excellent and their goodbye perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

2nd time eating here and had a good meal. The menu range is not huge, and has quite a few vegetarian choices but a good overall mix.

Service is friendly and efficient. Would recommend for a mid week meal out.

I have always had a good meal at Cinnamon Kitchen. Food is lovely and tasty. Service is top notch - always filling up water and checking everything is alright. Service is also quick.

Food good but rather too strongly spiced. Service OK but wine glasses constantly being topped up without asking. Canteen-feeling space buzzy but just too noisy. The four of us all felt that the bill price of £65 per head including wine and a (not compulsory) tip was definitely too high for the overall experience.

Great delicious food, and great venue, let down by a misrepresentation of the cocktail on the set Menu - it appeared complementary but was actually not . . .£30 later a bit of a con and no apology

I took a close friend out for his birthday. We both enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Our food came promptly and the starter compliments of the chef was a nice touch. Biryani was very tasty, I’d recommend the lamb.
My only complaints is that the disabled toilet was used as storage and my friend who is a wheelchair user had to wait for it to be emptied before he was able to use it.

Server was very polite if not a little over attentive, loud and forward speaking. He was however extremely polite, just a little overbearing.
The Indian aspect of the food was delicious but the fusion aspect let it down and was pretty poor. Many dishes having almost exactly the same accompaniment and flavours in the ‘fusion’ aspect being rather bland.
Overall not a bad experience but wouldn’t rush back. Felt it was expensive for quality and simple ambience even with the dessert and coffee being given to us as complimentary!

Not much impressed with the service. It wasn't warm, actually it seemed the opposite.
The food was good, but I think in London there are probably other similar places that have a better service.

Also, they should fix the dispenser for the feminine hygiene items in the ladies restroom.

The set menu is fab for those who want to grab an early dinner and this comes with a glass of Prosecco too!

Not only did we start with a complimentary appetizer from the chef, but the staff also put together a birthday plate for the occasion.

Overall I would definitely recommend the set menu and deals as they are a great way to sample the food and taste what they have to offer.

The Cinnamon Kitchen is good for a business meal - everything is professional and reliable. The food is good but not exceptional and the wine list extensive. The service was attentive but the sort I would expect given the prices paid. The menu does not appear to have changed much over time and this is something might worth considering by the management plus a vegetarian biriyani dish of some sort.
i will go again, given the location, but I was not bowled over as I have been on previous occasions.

Excellent food - perfectly cooked dishes and rather creative recipes - but service is slow and disorganized + there were mistakes on the check (items we didn’t order and prices that were different from the menu) which is a major issue. This is really a pity with the chef doing such a great job.

Lovely food, authentic and different.
Service below what we expected for such a restaurant - not very attentive, didn't help create a good atmosphere, 'placed the food and ran' approach. Only one waiter made an effort.
Different wine list - Brazilian pinot was surprisingly good
Worth a visit for the food but pick a busier night when the atmosphere could be better

I'll start by saying that my experience was okay, but not great. And I've therefore given this review as I've had much better service and food for a lower price.

We paid £80 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 glass of wine.

This would have been okay if the experience was as premium as the price.

But my partner and I both found the service so-so, and even some of the dishes such as the chilli paneer was particularly bland for the Indian palette and Indian cuisine.

I do normally make it a point to mention things like this to the waiter or waitress, but felt unfortable to due to their demeanour.

Was quite disappointed with my last visit. The chaat was nowhere as good as what I’ve had before at Cinnamon kitchen. The main of chettinad chicken was also underwhelming - mainly in presentation. Will give it a few good months before I visit again.

Had a special set Holi menu which was great value even though some of the "courses" were just a bite. Everything was nicely spiced, interesting and extremely tasty. One exceptional item was the king prawns starter which was just divine. Service was attentive and friendly. Only thing that let the experience down for me was the lighting. As it was quite brightly lit in a large open plan dining room it wasn't as cosy and intimate as I'd have liked for a relaxing evening meal. Cost of the set menu was reasonable as were drinks (beer).

Visited with my wife and a friend who had just reached a milestone birthday, although the restaurant was not busy when we arrived, it was busy when we left. The service was attentive, without being overbearing, the food was very good, and at the end of the evening, the restaurant provided a meal deal which made the whole evening very competitively priced. Overall a good experience, and one we would repeat.
