Superb food and prompt, courteous service. Not cheap, but the exceptional quality makes the expense worthwhile.

The food was nice enough, but the service was appalling. We arrived at 6.25pm for our 6.30pm booking, which stated that we would be going for the early evening set menu (which is available until 6.30pm). We were seated and given menus, and then left alone for 10 mins (6.35pm). We then attempted to place our order from the set menu and were told (in a very rude manner) by the waitress that she couldn't serve us. Eventually, after we asked to speak to management, she went away and then came back and said she would serve us. The service was then extremely slow throughout the meal and came with a very bad attitude. We had to leave at 8 (1.5h for 3 small courses from a set menu!) so asked for the bill to be brought with dessert. The waitress corrected us that it was the "check", not the bill. We said we call it the bill, and she insisted that we ask for the "check"! Bizarre behaviour. Won't be returning.

Three course set menu was lovely for £30. Limited choices but very good portion sizes from start to finish. Service was excellent. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to those who appreciate sophiscated Indian food.

Lovely, very tasty food as always and reasonable prices if you book (and also make sure you let the waiter know before ordering) an offer.

Waiter was quite rude and rushed. Ignored some of the women and was very brusque with his answers even when asked for a recommendation

A wonderful fine dining expereince, very welcoming and timely service, a superb range of flavours to enjoy for all including vegetarians. Not a single thing to complain at or even suggest to make it better.

The January three courses for £30 is such excellent value - fab food and our waiter was a great character. Lovely time.

I highly recommend this smart casual restaurant if, like me, you love Indian cuisine without the "heavy stodge" feel of food from many a British curry house! There are always plenty of options for fish, chicken and vegetarian and the food is delicious, aromatic and beautifully presented.

The food was excellent but rather limited choice for us. There were only about six starters and six main courses other than the grill and half of the dishes were vegetarian. That's fine and the fish dishes were great but I would have liked the opportunity of some nicely cooked lamb as on their website pictures.

A couple of noisy people in another group ruined the ambience.

Was out for stag party and wanted a civilised dinner. This place was very accomodating. Great service with drinks and the chef sent some complimentary dishes which were outstanding. The red deer was amazing. Great experience overall.

Absolutely amazing

Food was extremely tasty and as a group of 9 vegetarians the manager was very accommodating

Service was excellent, staff friendly and we had a 4month old baby with us. All the staff were very happy to help and make feeding. And changing easier

Absolutely must

Only half full in New Years Eve which didn’t help the ambience. Set menu - tasty enough and service ok but the place had a refectory / canteen feel which was cold and lacking in any atmosphere.

Great song playlist by the live band but the strange arrangement of each song detracted from the songs themselves.

Overall very average.

Cinnamon was a great meal. Our five course meal had in-depth flavors and spices, great meats, and great choices. However there were also lacking aspects. We were rushed through courses 1-3, given just minutes inbetween dishes. We were incredibly full, and could barely finish our mains, which should have been the showstopper. As such, desserts came out a little cold and we had to request a bit of a break.

All in all, great flavors and ideas! Was happy to have a five course meal that included lobster, lamb, deer, and king prawns. Worth your time!

We had a very tasty meal. Great lamb starter followed by chicken biryani not like anything eaten at other indian restaurants. So I would recommend the Cinnamon Kitchen to anybody who enjoys spicy food. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. I am very much looking forward to going again.

I have dined here before and always enjoyed it. This time I took a team of work colleagues. Food was very good as ever. However service could have been better. We ordered Pints of Stout and received lager as they had run out of stout but didn't tell us. There was a misunderstanding and they ordered all of our mains for us. Unfortunately some of the food ordered was extortionate. 2 mains came to £111 alone. The final bill was far more than anticipated. The attitude of the waiter was short and snappy throughout. Not sure I would go back now.

We had been to Cinnamon Kitchen in Devonshire Square, London a couple of times before, so we knew what to expect. The food was as always excellent. This is high end Indian cuisine and the flavours are wonderful. Service was fine too. What slightly spoiled the evening was a free rock concert going on in the Square, right outside the restaurant. This was extremely loud outside, and whilst the noise was significantly less inside, the drum and bass was always there!! It was still possible to hold a conversation but I feel we could have been warned in advance.
The prices are quite high I feel, but all in all, it's a good place to eat and my party enjoyed themselves.

Poor service, restaurant too busy for the number of staff, waited over and hour for drinks order to be taken. Food OK but v expensive for what it was. Nothing to write home about. We were sat in a marquee area which was not idea in the winter with poor lighting and lights not working. Overall, avoid.

Disappointing visit to Cinnamon Kitchen on Tues evening for myself and 3 guests. I've previously visited on many occasions with customers and colleagues and recommended the restaurant highly. However the restaurant was crammed full of Xmas parties - which meant the entire experience felt like average, anonymous mass catering - rather than the special experience I've previously come to expect from Cinnamon Kitchen. Not a great experience this time- and I ended up having to apologize to my guests having built up the restaurant so greatly. I really hope this is a temporary situation and doesn't reflect more serious fundamental issues with the qualify of service, food or care.

I have been visiting this restaurant for five years. This was the best experience yet. I indulged in the tasting menu and it was a remarkable experience. An amazing amount of food was served all of impeccable quality. The service was friendly, fast, and fun. I was unsure about whether or not I would be keeping the tradition as there are so many options, but after this trip, I will be coming back for another five years.
