We had the set menu for 4 people, this was a menu for 2 twice. The menu included 2x biryani dishes, 1 chicken and rice, in my opinion this was way too much rice and the menu should have been more varied. To be fair we didn't really study what was on the set menu before choosing. All of the dishes were good just not enough variety.

The food was good quality, but for the price and the tone of the restaurant I was expecting it to be great quality. Also the servings were rather small.

The food was really good, some lovely tastes and catering for all, with a Vegan 4 course meal on offer. The staff were friendly, but the service was pretty shambolic. They had clearly not read the detail of the booking, the order was not taken properly, the drinks took a long time to come so we had finished eating before the second set arrived and the bill took three goes to get right. It is a lovely setting, but the background music was too noisy in a room which is already noisy.

Wonderful food as anticipated as we had seen Cinnamon Kitchens on TV. Unfortunately service was poor, we had to wait to order drinks, wait to order food, wait to order dessert, however when ordered it came to the table within good time. We then ordered coffees and waited 25 minutes for them to arrive and when they did they were cold. We didnt say anything as it would have involved more waiting. We would go back as the food was delicious but only for a normal meal. We went for my husband's 60th birthday and all the waiting was very disappointing. Had they been full we would expect to wait longer but they had half the tables empty.

Nice idea and some interesting dishes but the menu was very limited and no indication of how hot each dish was. I asked the waiter to let me know which dishes were milder and he said they all were fairly mild but when they arrived it was too hot for me and I didn't eat it. It was a shame as I went there for my birthday and went home hungry. I suggested to the waiter that they add this to the menu for future reference but he didn't seem particularly bothered or interested.

I also had some trouble getting any response from the restaurant in advance of the date. I had to email a number of times and then only got a response from head office rather than the Oxford restaurant themselves.

Exceptionally poor service from one of the waiting staff soured whole experience - happy hour guests noise and the fact doors remained open were nearly just as unpleasant.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant I had a very poor meal The starter was OK but the seabass was awful it was presented dreadfully I could not eat it and it was tepid. I have eaten at Cinnamon Kitchen from when it first opened in Oxford and have had very good meals, but have to say this was very disappointing . I don't know whether they have changed their chef but I won't be returning in a hurry

Had £29 Mother’s Day sharing menu £29 pp. 2 vegetarians that also don’t eat fish and 2 meat eaters that also don’t eat fish in our party of 6. Errors in all courses even though it was made very clear. Nice food but nothing overly special.

Excellent dinner with friends. Our first time here, we chose the Sharing Menu - a bit pricey, more food than we would normally have ordered, but the right thing to do - we ended up sampling some fantastic dishes that we would probably never have ordered otherwise.

Although we booked a table we were seated at a small table in the window area which would have been perfect for a drink and people watching but for a meal and drinks it was quite small.
The service was ok
The food was very nice
Would probably visit again

This is an upmarket restaurant serving Indian food. If you are looking for "standard curry house fare" you will be disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, but others in my party were not so impressed. They didn't like that there were no poppadoms (or other standard Indian snacks/starters) and in general found their food to be not worth the cost. I personally disagreed, enjoying the inventiveness of the food (I had the venison), and the delicious side dishes (the potato paratha and 24 hour black lentils were excellent). I think I would recommend it to be people looking to be a bit adventurous, but I would not suggest it for people looking for a standard Indian curry night which is a bit more fancy.

Best food in the Westgate Oxford. I had to give a 4 for value because it is quite expensive, but don't be put off because the food is excellent, and actually worth it in the end.

Very tasty food, great selection all the way through - the ceviche to start was probably the highlight. Rapid, friendly service but not too imposing either. The prices aren't the cheapest but they do represent excellent value for money so there's no problem there at all. Definitely recommended!

The staff are wonderfully friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. My small criticisms are that the staff weren’t consistent with topping up our drinks and our starters weren’t cleared quick enough. Other than that, the staff were lovely and polite and the food was tasty. I’d definitely return.

Excellent food that was a cut above the normal run of the mill curry house. Delicious and unusual use of spice to give a lovely varied selection of flavours. Service was friendly and efficient. Not a cheap dinner but would recommend Cinnamon Kitchen for something of a superior quality.

Cinammon Kitchen is nice and the Vegan Tasting menu is a very good menu and good value with OpenTable. However, we were dining early in the evening and the dessert had run out/was not available but we were offered something else. The service was a bit chatic / random - we had several waiters rather than one designated to our table and they also didn't seem to give us enough time or gave us too much time. This could be improved as the restaurant was not busy when we were there.

Great evening out, solid and reliable service.
Food was great yet in many ways too spicy (well it's Indian cuisine).

One thing we did not like was cleaning the tables.
The spray was too strong and literally affected us in many ways.

I know the tables need to be clean - there so many ways that customers even do not recognise tables were clean and prepared for new customers. Perhaps next time something that this awesome team can consider towards to their clientele.

Lovely food, though fairly small portions on the Valentines set menu, especially the starters. Vegetarian option felt like an afterthought and we ended up with 3 aubergine dishes. Would have expected something more creative.

The nicest Indian meal I have had in a long time. Just 2 very minor criticisms: We were served tap water on arrival but it was lukewarm (should have been iced) and when I went to leave a tip on my card I was told it was cash only tips - this should have been made clear when booking.

That is just me being very pernickety though; overall, beautiful food in a beautiful setting with attentive (but not OTT) service. Strongly recommended.

Again an amazing lunch at the Cinnamon kitchen oxford restaurant. We had the watermelon salad with quinoa. This dish is really healthy and refreshing. I go to the Gym next door and this dish is just what I wanted after my work out. The restaurant was very quiet but we were welcomed and well fed.Very effectively service. I will definitely tell my gym buddies about this Gem restaurant in Westgate.

CK Oxford is my new favourite restaurant. I've dined there several times in the past 6m and the experience is consistently good. Yesterday I went for dinner with my husband and all 3 courses were spot on. I love the way they source and cook the meat and fish such that it retains its moisture and delicate texture. Rohit and Team were very polite and responsive.
