Great food and staff though the music is always on too loud for the atmosphere to be quite right perhaps! (especially if the music is not to your taste)

This is the second time I have visited and both occasions were very enjoyable. Good food, friendly staff and comfortable ambience.

It is in an interesting location with nice walks and scenery. Has a nice terrace for a drink if it is not raining!

Ordered Lobster Linguine from their specials menu. It came as a mountain of linguine with half a lobster on top. I started to eat the meat from the lobster when I noticed the part near the end of the tail was very fleshy and clearly not cooked. On opening the claw this was not cooked either. When I brought it to the attention of the waiter, he just took it to the kitchen then came back with an excuse that it was because it was fresh and the shell was very hard!!. Surely a chef knows how to tell when a lobster is properly cooked? I was not offered anything by way of a replacement, not even a drink and then was still expected to pay the full price at the end of our evening, despite the fact I hadn't been able to eat it!!
