Food was meh. Tacos said they were accompanied by elote salad, they were served with fries, which was the best part of the meal. Short rib tacos were more diced than shredded, kinda odd for short ribs. Duck nachos could have been really good but cheese sauce fell flat without much flavor. Duck must be expensive because there werent many chips.

Ordered regular chicken bites and were very bland and lacked seasoning. Without provided sauce barely edible. Old fashioned as ordered and great service were our waitress were sole highlights.

Reservation for 16, stopped in day before and received approval to increase to 20 guests. Assured we would sit together. Seated originally at a hightop for twelve with an adjacent table for four. There was no one else in the place except a few people seated at the bar. Asked to put all twenty together at the banquet bench, was told yes, but not allowed to pull tables together to accommodate our group. Service was good. Food average to below average. Everything over salted. Will not rush back given all the great food options in Tyson’s corner.

Really nice atmosphere. Food was surprisingly good for what I thought would be a typical beer hall. Great place to watch a game or have a nice meal or both

The table for our reservation was given to another group, which created confusion and caused our fairly small group to be seated at a huge table instead. Service was very slow for the lunch hour, and the restaurant was less than half full, and I'm still not sure what the problem was - we had to ask about our orders after being seated for more than 45 minutes. When we were finally served, the food was tasty, with prices about on par for the area. Lesson learned - not a spot for lunch. Maybe happy hours are better here?

We had a great time! Highlights were the duck nachos, garlic-parm fries, and the smoked wings. The big booths were perfect for our group of 6. Can’t wait to come back!

City Works has a good beer menu and a decent food menu. However, our server was possibly over-burdened and was TERRIBLE. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks, he didn't bring what I ordered etc. He forgot several things we requested throughout the dinner. It may have just been the server, but the whole place had a disinterested feel.

Was there to watch Super Bowl and got there a bit early to do some work in advance. Had to send back flatbread pizza as was more chip than pizza and manager was happy to oblige but said multiple replacements came out same attributing it to kitchen. Gladly comped and offered free drink after waiter did not tell my partner they were out of beer she ordered and just brought a replacement without even asking in advance. Not the best service but spaciousness of place and wide variety of beer options will still have us back along with fact manager sir best to make up to us as customers.

This is a great place to go for a casual night out. 90+ beers on tap - if you can't find a beer here you like, you must not like beer. Tasty appetizers, burgers and tacos. Large screen televisions are all around the restaurant showing whatever sports happen to be on as well as a music channel that is showing the video for whatever music is being pumped to the restaurant's speakers.

All of this and reasonably priced.

Came here to watch the NCAA championship game, and it was a great decision. The food was great and very large portions. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great for watching a big game. There are so many TVs that there’s not a bad seat in the house. This restaurant is very nice but also very casual and a great place to eat. I got the duck nachos and highly recommend the cookie dessert, so yum!

CityWorks is a welcome addition to the area. It is good Sports Bar, with better than average food. As to be expected, service falls off a bit when things get busy, but everyone is there to watch a long game anyway so it isn't a big deal. The TV screens are nice and big, and the tables are well positioned. It is a fun place to go and watch a game - and better than most of the other alternatives for sport bars. Some suggestions for improvement -- serve hot wings. It's a staple.

The food just wasn’t good. When you order avocado toast you don’t expect your toast to be fried and greasy. Also, smashed avocado should be fresh avocado, not brown guacamole smeared on bread. Very underwhelming. I will not be back.

Service is regularly poor and the food and beer is overpriced and not done well. The food is consistently overcooked or underspiced and not very flavorful. Theyre best food is the appetizers they have to put in a fryer.

Also disclaimer, they fry meat in the same oil as everything else so if your vegan or vegetarian, you should be careful.

Food was OK, standard sports bar fare. Beer selection was good. Table service was good. It is a problem, however, in a SPORTS BAR, when no one knows how to operate any of the many big screens on the wall. I wouldn't come here again to watch a game I really cared about seeing, since I ended up missing about half of the game in which I was interested due to employee inability to operate a remote control.

Good setting, good food, mediocre service. Gave up waiting for waitress to see if we wanted another beer (it’s a beer place, right? Sell more beer!), went to the bar instead. Bartender busy talking to co worker, had to ask me twice what beer I wanted. We will go back, but service needs to improve.

Loved this place when it first opened. As a non-meat eater - it would be nice to see the menu expanded to include more non-meat entries and some gluten-free options. There's only so much cauliflower, fish & chips (french fries) and buffalo shrimp person can eat. I've had the cauliflower "steak" - didn't like it because I expected it to be warm but it was served cold. Wasn't to thrilled with the salmon entree - the sides need some work - not a big "succotash"' fan.
This was good for our group to have "shareables" along with the variety of beers on tap.

Have visited on several occasions. Food is good but menu could be expanded. The stater offerings are very limited; especially for a bar restaurant. The host never seems to check in with Open Table; several times I've been listed as a no show. Maybe train the staff in the use of the application? It's a great space with good food, just wish the menu could be expanded.

For a Saturday night, it was not busy. Since this restaurant is located next to the ground floor of the Capital One building, I'd assume the popular time to go is for happy hour The food service was slow but our server was very cheery and upbeat which made the wait a little less frustrating. The menu has a variety of options but lacks diversity from other standard bar menus. The main focus is beer and cocktails, and trivia on Wednesdays.

Servers were pleasant and there were many tables full of people watching NFL games on Sunday afternoon. However the food was universally disappointing. Kids pizza was inedible, kids burger sliders way too over cooked (even for a kid!), my king pao cauliflower was drowning in a gross broth, and my wife’s veggie burger was awful. Haven’t had this bad of a meal in a very long time. Oh and it took over 30 mins for our food to come out.

We went for Saturday brunch and the place was empty. There was one wait staff handling all the tables. Everything took a long time, ordering, getting food, paying. And I'm not one to rush a meal. The food was just ok. My husband had the short rib hash. Nice but salty. I had the avocado toast. It was mostly bread and toppings, very little avocado. The beignets can be skipped, they were hard and tasteless.
