Located in a former auto shop in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood near The Menil Collection and Museum District, Clark’s Houston is the third and largest location of our popular neighborhood oyster bar and seafood restaurant. Opened in Fall 2023, Clark’s features freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, bowls of chowder and cioppino as well as a much-loved burger and shoestring fries.

The restaurant specializes in martinis and signature cocktails as well as an extensive Champagne and wine list. The design is light, bright, and airy with nautically-themed touches including a centerpiece fish tank, teak wood furniture, bright white walls, and blue and turquoise tones.

In addition to a marble-topped oyster bar and dining room, there’s a large, covered patio for prime people watching and oyster slurping. Clark’s Houston also offers a semi-private dining room for special occasions and events.

Amazing start when manager came over and found us table inside vs our outdoor reservation. Champaign and oysters on Point! The ceviche delicious. The crispy red snapper amazing! The scallops were least fav. Key line desert soooo good!!! Thanks for making g our anniversary special!

We enjoyed sitting outside on a good weather day. Server Brian was very good. We had wedge salad, grilled oysters, redfish on the half shell, French press coffee. All were very good.

Oysters, Crispy snapper and scallops were all excellent. Service was top notch. I was really cold so the waitress brought me a blanket. Great service

We ALWAYS love Clark’s!! When the weather is right for Houston, we love sitting outdoors!! We always go for the burger, well done!! It’s amazing! 😜

Another great dinner at Clark’s. Tried octopus for the first time and it was shockingly good! The roasted oysters were also great. I get those every time. The water tasted extra funky but my dinner companion and the waiter didn’t taste it. I guess it’s me? lol… anyway, nothing a bottle of Acqua Panna couldn’t fix. Our server, Mason was crazy good! He definitely added to the overall experience. The servers are always great here. Very knowledgeable about the menu and extra friendly. Mason was the best though. Will be back! Thanks y’all❤️

Great food, wait staff also really good, and surroundings are what an oyster bar should be. Not fancy but everything shook ny and clean. Everyone I've taken here has enjoyed it.
