As the newly installed resident of South Kensington’s iconic Michelin building, celebrated French chef Claude Bosi launches Claude Bosi at Bibendum with a ground-floor seafood and oyster bar and first-floor restaurant which is ‘unashamedly fine dining’, with the chef's signature contemporary and light-hearted flair. The a la carte features brand new dishes alongside classics from the original Bibendum and the chef’s Michelin-starred alma matter, with ingredients sourced predominantly from the British Isles and France. The striking upstairs dining room with its dramatic and iconic floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows has been redesigned to house a larger central open kitchen. The light and airy dining room will feature the original Conran chairs with a soft colour palate of muted blues.

Haven't been for a year, Very pleased to see the pot plants
have been removed. The meals were excellent, The choices on the menu are well balanced and all without exception beautifully cooked there was nothing to complain about. Chef Bosi came to the table and was charming and explained the technique used in some of our choices. The room is also very chic and comfortable. The staff were courteous and made is feel at home. Full Stars to all.

Excellent food, good service (if a little intense when there weren't too many people there). Set menu was good value. Wine list was very expensive.

Birthday meal at Bibendum.
We ate from the Surprise Menu, we were asked if we had any likes or dislikes so the menu could be tailored to our preferences which we found very helpful.
The food was excellent in both presentation and flavour, Claude and his team are very talented.
To accompany the menu we chose the wine flight, I would recommend this option as the wine pairing makes the whole menu work so well
As you can tell we had a great evening
in an iconic building and restaurant.
Thank you Bibendum

Great food and great service. All was beautifully presented and we were given plenty of time to enjoy our lazy Saturday lunch which meant we really could enjoy the whole experience. Having visited hibiscus in the past I wanted to try out his new restaurant and it did not disappoint.

We went to Claude Bosi for a friend's birthday lunch. He's a professional chef, and he reckoned (as did the rest of us) that it was probably the best meal he'd ever had. We had the 6 course Surprise menu, and every dish was a delight. The staff were excellent too - very attentive but never intrusive. To put it in context, we all eat out quite a lot - and this is one of the rare occasions I've written a review.

Already reception at door was really poor . We did not feel welcomed at all . That continued during the evening. We’ve been in the last three weeks again in Core , Madame de Pic , Helene Darroze : Service was always different , but nowhere as just correct as at Bosi. The only person who was warm and empathic was the lady taking the orders this evening .
Amuse Bouche were hardly existing and not interesting ( go to Core !!! Then you know what is exciting hospitality ) , food was ok, but only one course was really interesting , that was the daily special as starter , Raviolo with egg. Dessert , ice cream trolley as well not generous at all ..already the tiny cup shows the opposite from generosity . And it’s really hard to imagine : no gourmandise with coffee, just nothing , not a tiny chocolate , no petite fours , it’s just to laugh for a two star restaurant . It is not a place to go back .

We had a wonderful, memorable experience at Bibendum. We had the surprise menu and it was exactly that, a pleasant surprise and a lot of fun! All 6 dishes were delightful, beautifully and thoughtfully placed, cleverly played with the senses in contrast to the dish’s muted colours. We particularly enjoyed the signature dish nosotto, pine nuts had a nice crunch, creamy yet light, citrus flavour and spice gave a nice kick; rabbit and langoustine. The amalfi lemon dessert was a lot of fun.

Four of us went for a joint birthday lunch and we were not disappointed.
From the moment we walked in the service was top notch. We opted for the surprise menu and the food was sublime.
Great atmosphere, fabulous building and decor, with great friends it doesn’t get much better.

Both reserved and extravagant, the signature tasting menu was an absolute delight. No bite felt out of place, the staff were a delight and after 3 and a half hours, I'm very happily full, but not uncomfortably so. Truly a gem in London's culinary scene

We have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed! The food is sublime, the service attentive, friendly and effortlessly efficient. It is such a treat to be seated where one can see into the kitchen and watch the chefs as they work! It is an expensive restaurant, but for what you get and the excellent quality of every aspect, it is well worth pushing the boat out when you can.

Our first visit to Bibendum and we were royally looked after from the second we entered. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious and the sommelier and table waiter stood out as exemplary. Claude Bosi welcomed us at the beginning of the evening and thanked us on exit. What a gent!
We both chose the 'Surprise Menu' with wine pairing and I have to say it was a great choice! The food was knock out as we expected and there were many surprise elements. However, as imaginative as some of the plates looked and smelt the best thing about his food was the taste - it was knock out food full of punch and delivered on it's promise. We will return!!

Incredible experience from start to finish. Absolutely everything from start to finish was utterly superb. Both the service and food were exceptional and the attention to detail throughout was exquisite. Already planning a return visit. Thank you from us both to the entire team for a truly wonderful evening!

Whilst the combination of flavours and textures in the dishes are inventive, and the visual appeal sometimes exquisite, the overall food experience was flatter than I’d hoped it would be. A pigeon cooked in a salt crust was actually cooked in a salt pastry crust, rendering the breasts tender and pink (good) but the legs were not part of the finished dish. A contrasting final treatment to the breast would have added something more. The chocolate soufflé was in contrast wonderful and almost too large, but not cloying and very balanced so a great success. The accompanying vanilla ice cream was however unpleasant, the cream or custard having been infused overlong with the pod rendering the final ice cream an off-putting grey colour as well as giving it an aroma reminiscent of dead lilies. Not good. Lastly, the room is lovely and the tables very nicely separated for privacy, but the use of obviously bespoke and over-designed trolleys for champagnes and cheeses was a sad note. Having to call for the bill at the end of the meal, and with no farewell takeaway treat, was a limp end to what was otherwise terrific service. Two stars is one too many in my view, and I’ll file this one away as an experience but not one I’ll repeat.

We've been to Bibendum a few times but this was the first time with Claude Bosi as the Chef. It has always be a great restaurant but now, it is just amazing.
Everything was perfect, there is nothing to improve.
Food was excellent, aerial. Great flavors, nice presentation. Claude Bosi makes you discover food you know in another way. He's quite a magician.
The setting is chic with just the right touch of originality.
Wines are great but the choice was difficult so big is the list!
The service was one of the best I've ever experienced. Everyone was very professional, paying attention to every detail, but they never stopped smiling and being casual, adapting themselves to guests.
Doriane was speacially a great host. She was very patient, explaining every dish on the menu with such an enthousiasm we would have liked to taste everything!
It was my Birthday and they brought a small cake with a candle with full discretion.
Thank you for such a nice time!

Wonderful food, beautifully presented with relaxed, yet efficient service. We had the set lunch which was excellent value. The waiters treated us to little extras throughout the meal and gave my partner a special dessert as he was celebrating his birthday. Claude Bosi also came out to talk to us while we were there.

Absolutely fantastic lunch with the surprise menu. This restaurant should be a three star one. Have been at all three stars in London but Claude Bosi is better compared to them and very nice price. Wine pairing might be a little bit expensive since they pour quite little…

Drinks in the bar all good . Arrived at table and over 1 hour to receive any bread . The other tables got canapés but they skipped that for us and went straight to a amuse bouche ( egg) .... my starter was tasteless .... winter truffle might as well as have been paper ! Prawn starter much better . Mains - rabbit was good not amazing . Cod main was a substitute for John Dory ( which seemed quite a theme... many substitutes including what they said was out or season white truffle ... that’s fine ... just remove it from your menu then !) deserts — very average.
All a big shame as I had been to lunch several months ago pre Michelin stars and it was fantastic and all the food was very tasty. ..... which seems sadly lacking now . I had previously recommended to many people but would struggle to do so after this visit . I think they have lost what made them great which was really tasty food that you crave more of.....
