We believe that crab and other British seafood is undervalued and we want more people to realise that it is fresh, healthy, high in protein and most importantly delicious!
Sustainability is at the heart of our business. We aim to source as much produce from the UK as possible and try to keep our menu up to date with the seasons.
Taking out the middle men, we deal directly with sustainable fishermen to ensure that we receive the best produce. Our crab and lobster comes from Favis in Salcombe, trout from the chalk streams in Hampshire, oysters from Colchester and all our meat from H.G. Walter.
Over the last two years we’ve traded at markets throughout London, festivals across the UK and ran pop-ups at various restaurants and bars. Find us at our Carnaby restaurant or various festivals and events in the Summer.
See you soon!
love a bit of soft-shell crab burger - i mean who doesn't?! lots positive to say about this place, location, menu, spice, beer, service. there was a small problem with summer flies which is a shame, but it was very humid. i would go back
Lovely tasty food and will definitely return to try the dishes!
Completely over priced for what it is. 1/3 of a pint costs £4.5 (they don't serve pints) same for a £10 cocktail - gone in almost 3 sips. Portions are small compared to the prices they charge, especially fried food. Wouldn't recommend this place.
The food was tasty but I didn't feel I got good value for money. The grilled octopus was a bit disappointing. But food in this area of London is generally around this price range.
Food was amazing staff were very friendly! Wine was a little pricey for a carafe but it was great. If you like fish
The first visit I had here was amazing, I could not rave enough. This time though, I was wildly underwhelmed, perhaps it was a peaceful Easter monday quiet vibe, but the diner service was mediocre.
MISLEADING TITLES, TERRIBLE OILY TASTELESS FOOD! DON’T GO!!!
FELT SICK AFTER THAT 🤢 Fillet o’fish In McD is better
We ordered the prawn toast as an appetizer, and it was VERY deep fried without any prawn on it (flavor only), oil drops were falling down from it when trying to eat it with hands.
As a main we got express lunch with crab. The brioche was deep fried, very little crab on it. High expectations but average taste, you can’t taste the crab in it all.
The Crab KFC - you’re paying £12 for 5gr of crab with 1 litre of oil
Food ok, not brilliantly executed though the menu sounds good on paper.
Service terrible. Had to ask three times to get a drink but worse was when I was told to change my baby on the toilet floor as they have no change facilities despite me saying on the booking I was bringing a baby.
Lunch express for £12 is so much food that I just couldn’t finish the fries. Should have asked for all salad option if it existed.
All the food was amazing, can’t wait to return!
Great range of dishes, particularly the small plates. Food was delicious, service was good overall. Would definitely recommend to seafood lovers.
We really enjoyed the food, especially the small plate concept. We had the chance to try a wide variety of items. The atmosphere is modern trendy, but casual. It was a great place for after-work dinner. There is a nice vibe, but not so noisy (at least not downstairs) as to prevent conversation. Friendly service. We thought that the food was excellent at fair for London prices.
I consider the food to be good value for money. The dishes offered were unique, and the quality was high. I would definitely return!
Very chilled evening with my partner. The restaurant is simple but very nicely done with good ambience, lighting and music.
The food was fantastic and very imaginative with some really good healthy options and also some naughty dishes 😈
Service was friendly and efficient! We will definitely come back!
I was happy with my trip to Claw. The squid and octopus dishes are must-orders. They were great! The beetroot dish was a bit watery but tasted good.
Don't bother with the fish tacos. Worst fish tacos I've ever had!
Nice service. Waiter very happy to recommend wine. Wine was good (had the Beaujolais).
Wasn't cheap - came to about £50 each (table for 2). Which I think is steep given the quality of the food (and the awful fish tacos!) But still, mostly enjoyable, every other dish was tasty.
Soft shell crab was the highlight. Like the fact they toast the brioche bun for the crab roll. Nice service. Didn't accept dining cheques which was not stated on the opentable page.
Went to Claw for lunch and had some small plates to share. Would have liked to see a crab claw dish which I think they had before
Service was very good but the food was average to good and quite pricey. Portions were on smaller side with padding to make look larger.

Loved everything except for the “loud gangster rap” playing for lunch ! My view would be less Loud, maybe rock.
