Club Arus na nGael is an Irish Social Club located on Lower Dominick Street in the heart of Galway City. If you are fluent, have the cúpla focal or have no focal...it doesn't matter, what matters is your interest in the Irish language.
You must be a member to enter the premises and the membership fee is covered in the booking deposit.
We can cater for large groups, please contact us directly to arrange this.

    Thought we we booking an Irish music venue. Popped in earlier in the day to a very basic run down shack to be told there was no music that night. Very uninspired place - definitely give it a miss and try some of the splendid bars in the area instead.

    Booked and paid for 4 people for this venue on the 8th of July for Saturday the 31st of July (3 weeks in advance) we arrived 5 minutes early on the 31st to be told that ye are only taking walk ins for race week and that my booking would have being cancelled and refunded as soon as the booking was made.. this was not the case as I was not contacted about the booking being cancelled or refunded. The 2 security at the door was no help and was told by them that it wasn't their problem and wouldn't let me speak to somebody to solve the issue. I got a text from ye the day before my booking to say it was all confirmed (see pics attached). I would have understood if I was contacted prior to my booking date that ye have cancelled my booking and refunded the booking fee due to only taking walk ins because it was race week, I would have made other arrangements..

    Booked last Saturday as they were advertised as open on this. Got to the venue to find out they were closed but still took my money. Rang about a refund a couple of times and no one's bothered to get back to me. It's a shame tbh I've been there a few times and thought it was nice but will be avoiding the place in future

    Be aware that they don't do food, other than that lovely staff and nice area for a sunny day
