Clubhouse at Luttrellstown Castle Resort
Unfortunately despite having a booking we left as they had run out of the main course that all of our party wish to have. I am still shaking my head as to how a restaurant could run out of roast beef on a Sunday lunchtime when they have confirmed bookings. Simply unacceptable
Cannot recommend Sunday Lunch enough. Brought two lovely ladies who are still raving about the good food, fantastic service and lovely venue.
Great value for money. Thanks to all the staff!!
W e have dined in the Clubhouse on a number of occasions and decided to use it for a family lunch.
We were six people and I can safely say that all our guests were very happy with the food and service.
Would recommend highly.
We have dined at the club a number of times and have always found it to be very good. The location and ambiance are excellent and the staff are most professional and attentive.
We will visit again.
I brought my partner here for birthday and I put in a request for a candle to be put on his desert, it was a beautiful desert and they had happy birthday written in chocolate it was very sweet of them
The service was awful no one knew what they were supposed to be doing. There was clearly no direction and it’s such a shame as it has so much potential. No background music, no atmosphere. If the room is too hot open a window common sense should always prevail in these circumstances. The food was so good which is such a pitty as it was let down by everything else.
This was my second visit to the Clubhouse at Luttrellstown Castle Resort. We booked our lunch for a special occasion - a 90th birthday celebration. Online booking was quick and easy and we booked for 8 people. A week before the date, we found our number had increased to 11 as family living abroad were able to join us. It was no problem to find a larger table. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and very accommodating, producing the birthday cake at the right moment. The food was perfect and the overall atmosphere was just right. Can’t recommend the Clubhouse highly enough - I will definitely be back! 🙏
It’s lovely place, food was lovely, possibly would add extra cooked veg as side order for the table. Service was good. Will be back
We had a lovely afternoon celebrating my Mother-In Laws Birthday. The service was excellent and not intrusive. The choice of food was really good and the presentation was excellent.
The service was good and the food very tasty but the portion sizes were so humongous it was almost off putting. I have a great appetite and usually clear my plate but there is no way I could have finished everything I got today. I think a third less would be better.
Staff greeting us and bringing us to our seat excellent . Starter lovely and well presented . Main course fair ... unfortunately both our dinners were not hot ... had to send back .... told we would have to wait till new dinners made . It just felt very bad to be served cold dinners .. next one was fine but it took the good out of dinner . Maybe a suggestion a complimentary drink or something to compensate the diner .. or at least a fuss ...
Lovely dining room, food was very good and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly.
As the restaurant cancelled our reservation for 8 just 40 mins before the time we had booked I can't really review on this occasion.
I booked a table for my family 6 adults 1 child 2 babies for my 40 Birthday - we had a lovely table by the window - service was outstanding the waiters (head) or supervisors both male were very friendly welcoming, accomadating (bottles being cooled) ensuring everyone was happy and enjoying not only their food but their day.
Food choice was good and everyone was happy and full. I would highly recommend to friends and family.
I've used this venue a few times and always happy to good back. But not sure I would on the experience with this last visit. Service and ambience great as always but the food this time was anything but.
We came here for Father's Day so were given the set menu €29.95 for 3 courses. We probably should have been suspicious when the place was empty at 4pm on Father's Day. The starters were tiny- the caprese salad consisted of 4 tiny pieces of mozzarella cheese and 1 cherry tomato divided in 4!! We laughed it off and expected more from the main course. Unfortunately this too was seriously lacking. Most of us ordered the lamb which came out as one (small) single cutlet and a tablespoon of mashed potato and some green veg. My husband asked for extra veg only to be told they had none. The baby's food then arrived and her chicken and veg was honestly bigger than our mains. The staff were really nice however I suspect they realised how bad the meal was as they didn't come near us for ages. When the desserts arrived we wished we'd saved the extra €5 and left it as a 2 course set menu. I expected a lot more from this place and was sorely disappointed. We paid our bill but my husband complained to the manager after. To be fair he offered to make it up to us but we said not to bother we wouldn't be going again.
Beautiful Setting with views of the hills. Food was beautifully presented and great taste. Would recommend this as a real treat for a special occasion
I would like to compliment the chef on the beautiful food we had on Sunday. There were 8 in our party and every meal was presented beautiful and tasted delicious . Even though there was a big unexpected funeral our food was great with very little delay. Well done.Mary F
We had the Christmas menu which was excellent- Staff very friendly and Service was brilliant. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful setting, great service and good food at a reasonable price. Ideal for parties, large groups or a romantic meal for two. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the wonderful setting at its best.
Excellent meal. The starter were refined and the mains were proper 'old schools' wholesome tasty food. Superb value for what was on offer.
